Ich nähe schon sehr lange und habe einen 2jährigen onlinekurs bei einem Schneider Meister gemacht.Allerdings musste ich immer die Schnittmuster viel anpassen ( grosse Brust-Bauch ) Als ich die Masterclass entdeckt habe habe ich sie sofort gekauft.Das war genau das was mir noch fehlte.Ich bin total begeistert. Der Kurs ist mir deutschen Untertiteln. Die Übersetztung ist perfekt. Nancy Tauber erklärt mit ihrer ruhigen angenehmen Stimme so genau und einfach Schritt für Schritt . Jeder Anfänger kommt damit zurecht. Vielen Dank,dass ihr das macht.Der Inhalt des Kurses ist jeden Cent wert. und er ist umfangreich .

Nancy is an excellent teacher on the topic. She clearly explains all the potential pitfalls that can happen when I draft my pattern and I feel more confident about getting a better result for my garment.
I can not recommend her highly enough.

I have a degree in tailoring, but admit I do not know it all. My sewing school had us make one pair of men's trousers from pattern on,but that was far from enough. Also, the trouser class I learned a lot in Making high end trousers, again that we were not taught just the basics. I now have friends and family lined up so I can "practice" making more until I get it down and have the course for life so I can work along with the course until I have memorized how to make trousers.

All, that said wo derful course. I do wish for a few things. I wish she would have gotten more in detail the difference in men's and women's trousers or explained more other than the side of the fly. If the same unless I missed it (which was possible with only watching one time at the moment) that there is no difference. I know she talked a little about jeans, but would like to have learned more about that as well. (I have read they are supposed to be tighter than trousers and read they are different with no explanation, in other sources). But otherwise, absolutely loved the course and can not wait to take more.

I took the trouser as well I'm really hard to fit and hoped to find something I can do to learn to fit myself. It was also a hail Mary course and to see what I thought. I'm hooked.

Dive-in even if you think it’s going to be a challenge!
At first, I procrastinated, and weeks went by without engaging—worrying about it just made me feel more overwhelmed. I did get a reassuring email, including a link and lifetime access. I think this is a unique and valuable learning resource that I will return to throughout the summer.

I was originally skeptical about purchasing a class advertised on Instagram, especially without much comments or review. But... boy!...was I wrong!

I almost selfishly don't want to share how great this class is :-), but I will...for the benefit of humanity. Their customer service and promptness is second to none in resolving issues I had with some of the classes I registered for.

The classes are super organized and professionally done. I am VERY much impressed and satisfied with the knowledge of sewing that is packed into these classes. Frankly, I can't believe the low price tag being charged for their classes. Thank you, thank you glowhigh. Can't thank you enough!

Great course, awesome instructor!

I discovered GHF Masterclass through a Facebook ad in October 2023 and decided to try out their free skirt Masterclass after seeing it repeatedly on my feed. The quality of instruction and content immediately impressed me, prompting me to invest in all their classes. Currently, I'm engrossed in the Tailored Jacket Masterclass.

One standout aspect of GHF Masterclass is their exceptional customer support. When I had a question about adapting the instructions to my proportions, I emailed them. Within a day, my query was forwarded to Nancy, who I assumed must be very busy. Despite this, Nancy responded within few days with detailed explanations and even included sketches to aid my understanding.

So far the best course I have done on line. I have not finished but is easy to understand and I am applying it to do a jacket so I will keep you posted.

Learning new tips and freshening up on old has been so amazing. The price is reasonable and affordable. I truly enjoy this series and I look forward to learning how to creat some new designs.

This is awesome, the pattern making helped me know where I made mistakes. I always struggle making my sleeves and trying to make adjustments on my out fit. Pattern making. I now have more confident in pattern making for bodice etc. Thank you.

Women's Tailored Trousers Masterclass - Question to Center Crotch
I do the course from the U.S. and had a question to the pattern drafting of the center crotch. I wrote an email asking for help in the late evening. When I opened my laptop in the morning I already had the precise answer. This was the 2nd time that I got immediate support. Outstanding service.

Class was very organized. Nancy, instructor, very knowledgeable of the subject. It was a delight taking this course!

I really enjoyed taking this Master Class and I feel it’s an incredibly low price for the content received.
If you would prefer to “engineer out” the fitting problems, and not be struggling needlessly after the fact, this is the course for you.
The principles shown are applicable throughout garment construction, regardless of your stylng choices. It gives you flexibility to meet other people’s styling requests as well.

I’ve seen it common for sewers to be over-fitting after cutting out, asking others to read wrinkles on their garments and generally feeling insecure as they try to figure it all out.
They may think of fit as something you do only after a pattern is cut and basted/sewn together, or they wing it and sew patterns straight out of the envelope but feel frustrated when the fit isn’t automatic.

This course demonstrates developing a result from a professional or basic block, for a specific individual or for your own body, before the fabric is cut and then adjusted minimally on the body in a muslin before cutting the final garment.

I have many years of sewing experience and have sewn successful wedding dresses, bridesmaids gowns, all kinds of dresses, tops, jackets, coats and many other garments and projects and yet I still found it useful to take advantage of the experience Nancy Tauber shared in this course.

As far as marketing, wording or whatnot, it’s probably helpful to remember cultural differences in how fashion is described or viewed.
In my area, the term couture is probably preferred over “high-fashion” and perhaps we have zero intention of designing for the “Stars”, but the agreed upon idea is the high standard we want, and achieving the best result possible.
Even with some experience, I discovered useful gems and tips along the way, and gained confidence in the techniques I know as book knowledge but rarely ever actually do.
Going through creating the dress components was amazing anyway because it doesn’t matter what you’re making, some form of this dimensional thinking with fabric manipulation, from flat pattern to the human form, is going to come into play…
As for any negatives:
There are times in the course that the camera angle isn’t right or something she’s doing is obscured, or she says one number but means another (it’s pretty obvious though and doesn’t break the course) I felt the editing was pretty good and a lot of care was given to streamlining the process. I was able to follow along anyway.
A helpful inclusion is the section where everyone’s questions are answered and included in the course material.

I suggest watching it all the way through because the project information is sprinkled throughout.
Don’t cut your pieces from the paper prematurely as you may need to do more, so leave plenty of room and don’t jump the gun.
Use cross and spot paper that’s accurate and that a pencil eraser can be easily used with.
The basic fabric type stuff does not handle eraser and your life will be harder and project messier.

I found that any question you have, no matter how small is answered quickly and professionally. A very nice touch!
They are absolutely lovely to interact with, exceeding my expectations.
Anyway, I loved it, so glad I made the effort to do the class project and have that reflected on my certification.
I’ve already purchased other classes, and feel really good about purchasing more in future.

I really enjoyed and learned a lot from master classes at Glow High I wish I had known it before and this will not be my last course here, thank this amazing staff for answering the questions very quickly and helping me, and thank you for the amazing teachers❤️
