A massive thank you to Chris Lewis and the team at GLP Training for all of the support during my Level 5 Operations Manager apprenticeship course. Chris really knew how to bring out the knowledge I already had and built on that with me to enable me to complete the course, I even managed to get a distinction.

Would I recommend them, yes in a heartbeat.

Massive thank you to GLP and all of its staff, especially to Mike and Rich who were very supportive and informative throughout all of the 3 weeks on the CSCS course. Would highly recommend choosing to do a course with GLP training if you are hoping to learn something new for a trade or just want to have a refresher on something you’ve done in the past.

Having just completed the 4 day plastering course I feel credit needs to be given to glp and especially rich. The course itself is great and given me every confidence in expanding my business towards plastering. At the beginning of the course I felt like I could plaster, but not good enough to use as a skill to use alongside my property maintenance business. Having completed the course I am confident to board and skim and carry out a variety of different repairs to a really good standard. Rich is a wealth of knowledge and is there every step of the way guiding you through the process. He managed to spread himself evenly through the class and got everyone to a great standard.
The facilities that glp offer are next level, an amazing workshop with everything set out in a way that ensures you get the most out of the experience. No messing around trying to find things, no stalling, just straight to it- making sure you get the very most of every day you are there!

I’ve just finished the 2-week plastering course and can’t recommend it enough! The course was packed with valuable insights, taught in a clear and practical way. A huge thanks to Rich for being such a knowledgeable and supportive teacher. I learned so much and really enjoyed the experience.

Having recently finished my L5 Operations & Departmental Manager Apprenticeship, I want to thank my tutor Vern, for his support, patience and dedication in helping me achieve my desired results!

What I appreciate about Vern, is not just his knowledge and teaching ability, but how much he genuinely cares about the success and wellbeing of his students. He made sure I always knew what I was doing and took the time to explain things clearly and patiently (even if he had to repeat it several times to me, until it sunk into my brain!).

His support during my preparation for the EPA was second to none. Thank you for making the time for me when I needed it the most!

Vern has truly been the backbone of my apprenticeship journey. Thanks to him, I didn’t just get a Distinction - I grew in confidence, skills, and belief in my potential!

From start to finish we had great teaching and effective communication from the trainers, especially from Dean. The teaching was clear and effective and I’ve learnt a lot. I appreciate the time and opportunity they have given me.

Cleaning hygiene standard I have just completed with a distinction my trainer mark has been helpful throughout my course there were times I wanted to give up and he motivated me and told me that I have it in me and I did I passed with a distinction I was over the moon once I got my results from my end of assessment I messaged mark and told him I did it and he told me he was proud of me and that he new I had in me… he was really helpful throughout my course and if I needed help outside and messaged him he replied straight away giving me the support I needed..

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working through my PMO course at GLP training. Rich and Mark were very helpful throughout my course. They were easy going and helpful with any questions asked. They both were also easy to contact if I needed help with anything. I felt involved in all activities and they thoroughly went through all tasks given.

I would definitely recommend GLP Training and I enjoyed my course. Great trainers and staff there and great care taken towards their learners. Dean was a great supportive teacher & Tony was a very good trainer.

I recently completed a Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship with GLP and am over the moon to learn today that I have passed!

My tutor was Vern Littley and I cannot thank him enough for his support from commencement of the course, right through until completion. He took the time to visit my workplace, travelling a great distance, on several occasions to support me throughout the course. This was greatly appreciated as I know how busy he and the other tutors are but being able to spend time talking through things really helped.

Vern has been a constant source of knowledge and encouragement. No question was unanswered or unexplained and he worked hard to ensure that I believed in myself and could achieve this qualification - even on days when I doubted myself.

The course provided by GLP was well presented, easily accessible, with many resources for learning and further understanding of the subject matter and I enjoyed every Master Class interacting with the other students and gaining knowledge and new insights to Operations Management.

This was a hugely enjoyable course and, in my opinion, one that every Manager should take and I am actually sad that I have finished it!

Chris Lewis is the best tutor. He had a lot of time for me to complete my course despite the extreme busy nature of my job!

I couldn't be more pleased with the results and support I have received from GLP. My tutor went above and beyond to make sure that I was supported, and make sure I always understood the classes. I highly recommend GLP as training provider.

I recently completed a 4-day intensive plastering course and had a fantastic experience. The trainer, Rich, was excellent – incredibly knowledgeable, not just about plastering, but about a wide range of related topics too. His passion for the trade and patient teaching style really stood out.

The course was well-structured and hands-on, and while I won’t be giving up the day job anytime soon, I came away with a solid understanding of the basics and a real appreciation for the skill involved. It was also a great atmosphere – a good group of people made the learning even more enjoyable.

Overall, I had a great time learning something new and would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to pick up some DIY plastering skills or simply try something different.
