I like the cups from GMZ Pack. They have good qualities and printing . It will definitely play a role in my packaging business.

GMZ Leaking aqueous cups WARNING ⚠️
We have been in the printed cup business for 7 years and have never had a leaking cup issues before until now!
We purchased a 40ft container of aqueous 8oz and 12oz single walled cups from GMZ Pack to produce our customers branded double walled coffee cups. We are one of the fastest growing U.K. companies for this product offering 24hr turn around.
The GMZ Pack aqueous cups are faulty at the base of the cup, it is so weak the cups leak when hot liquid is poured into them over a space of a few minutes.
The base is very thin and when left on the side it forms condensation between the surface and the base of the cup and falls apart.
We have had nothing but complaints from our customer with hot liquid falling over their customers it’s only a matter of time someone is seriously burnt. GMZ will not take liability for the single walled cup being too thin and not fit for purpose.
We have taken the decision to pull the 8oz and 12oz single walled cup and look at purchasing more cups out of our own pocket from another supplier which have been tested and tested again and fit for purpose! We will look to return the cups to GMZ as these are not fit for U.K. and European markets.
Our dw cup machines need to be altered and amended to take the new cups which is time consuming and another expense.
We look forward to the day a manager from GMZ Pack gets back to us regarding this as there is a fault and they need to take some responsibility for the weak base of their cups.
We will keep adding the issues we have with the cups on social media to make sure no one else has the same issues going forward.
You have been warned don’t get stuck with cups which are not fit for purpose!

After our discussions, we believe the root cause of the issue lies with your secondary processing, not the quality of our products. You were unable to provide further details regarding your use of Indian machinery to secondary process our products.
We deeply regret that you, before the issue was resolved, spread unsubstantiated claims on social media and used them to threaten us.
