The Hungry Boar Avis 

The Hungry Boar sticklers come in a range of tasty flavours. Some have fillings - my fave were the BBQ! The spicy Piri Piri were a close second.
While most meat snacks are hard and chewy,(giving jaw ache) the Sticklers are a softer texture.
The packet size is perfect for a quick protein and energy boost.
They make ideal hiking snacks to fuel my outdoor adventures.

I love the variety of flavours and the handy convenience of these protein packed sticklers which are bursting with flavour, it's hard for me to choose a favourite flavour .I've added them to light meals such as scrambled eggs for breakfast to fuel my day and to a ceasar salad for lunch. The children have even had them after their Karate sessions. They are easy to eat and melt in the mouth. They are so addictive. Perfect to have in your bag for an on the go snack or after excerise

Great products that actually keep you full! A wide range of flavours to choose from (my personal favourite being bbq!). Packaging is good and I feel like they are reasonably priced compared to other high protein snacks that are available out there.

Great snack after a run as it’s high in protein. I think it’s great if you are out and about and need to carry something with you. Not so keen on the high salt and fat content though, but still a good snack option

Loved these, so convenient to put in my bag and snack on in between training sessions.

I’ve been trying my best to eat more protein, these are a great snack to eat as a busy Mum on the go. The chicken ones are my favourite! Super tasty!

These grew on me. I didn't like them straight away. But I found they are a bit of an acquired taste and I like them after a few times snacking on them. BBQ is deffo the fave without doubt. The sweet compliments the salty and these are salty. Overall I like them. But they wouldn't be my go to snack for meat. I'd stick with soft, well made jerky. If Hungry Boar can make these a little softer and less like a dog treat I'd definitely keep buying ✌🏼

These are pretty tasty, though not something I'd consider for an everyday snack. The BBQ pork and Piri Piri flavours tasted really good, but they are massively let down by their actual protein content.

From a texture and appearance POV, they look a lot like dog treats (my family all questioned me eating them).

I guess there's a reason that manufacturers have copied the Peperami form factor as it's a known snack type. I feel psychologically this product would be better suited to 1 larger stick rather than a pack of mini sticks.

The chicken sticks (though the best from a macros POV) really were not to my liking, and anything with processed cheese in it is always going to be a firm no so I confess I didn't even try them!

Best way I can describe these is that I'd consider them as a service station snack - the sort of thing I might consider picking up on the road, but not part of my daily eating regimen!

I always get bored of the same snacks every day so trying these changed things up for me, also for my daughter too who is a picky eater. The snack being a good source of protein is always a good thing and the variety of flavours meant it wasn't boring. The texture was nice, not to firm and no gristle which I have found in other meat sticks in the past. The cheese loaded ones were so tasty.

Great snacks to have on the go and eye catching branding which I like. It’s refreshing to see something quirky like this come to market and not be like all the other protein based snacks already out there

The hungry bear snacks is a winner in our house. The kids love the snacks especially the piri piri flavour . These are perfect on the go snacks

The Hungry Boar has been the perfect protein snack for playing American football, it’s soft, tasty and keeps me energised without feeling full and slowing me down. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

They just aren't for me. I couldn't get by the texture. The packaging was good though and the variety of flavours is great.

As someone who is always trying to find new ways to get protein into their diet, I was super excited to try The Hungry Boar Sticklers!

My favourite flavours were the Loaded BBQ and Cheese as they packed a flavour punch and were different to other meat snacks on the market.

The package size is great and they’re a nice alternative to jerky, although I’d like the texture to be a bit firmer for my personal taste
