A few weeks ago, I contacted GoldenCrest expressing an interest in buying precious metals from them. They assured me during the call there would be "no pressure." Today, the dealer called me out of the blue and asked "so when would you like to buy?" When I said I needed more time, he said in an accusatory manner "why do you need more time? we already went over it." I then requested a written quote for premiums and buyback spreads. The dealer abruptly ended the conversation and hung up upon hearing my request. I'll let you decide if this is the kind of dealer you would like to do business with. Personally, I want nothing to do with them.
