Ordered a pair of glasses, arrived several weeks later, but the lenses made my vision blurry, distorted & see double!!!
After a great deal of hassle I was able to order another pair. Big mistake.
Oh boy!!!...rimless & did you know, but it is not on the description "it is quite normal for the bridge holding the glasses together can be slightly different in measurement to the other side"???
This is their EXCUSE for thei not fit for purpose goods. !!!
Erm ~ they distort the vision!!!
I can chose another pair ~ why would anyone want to do that, I have had 2 faulty pairs!!!
THEY ARE NOW NOTHING BUT A SCAM COMPANY!!!
IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING FROM THEM!
I will contact my bank to get the money back from this despicable company

Ordered two pairs of glasses same prescription for both but there they are different and I also paid extra for anti reflection which they have not included

I have purchased many prescription glasses from this supplier. I purchase one where the lense keeps falling out whenever I use them. This has been a problem from day one of purchase but I never reported it to Goggles4U as I had many other prescription glasses to wear. I wanted to wear the dodgy pair recently and they have the same problem. The local optician said this is just bad workmanship of the lense. Nothing wrong with frame and nothing wrong with the prescription but the lense has been cut incorrectly so nothing can be done. Spoke to Goggles4U customer support who offered me a discount on another pair where I already get discount but I wanted a full refund as I will return glasses. After over an hour of chatting on the webchat I gave up - This is NOT a warranty/guarantee issue but very bad workmanship. I expected a full refund but now I am left with unusable glasses and a VERY BAD experience with this company. EVERYONE beware of this bad customer service and the way they handled the complaint. I couldn't even get a transcript of the chat OR a UK address for this company.

Two pairs of prescription varifocals delivered less than 7 days after order. Excellent price, quality frames and premium coatings. 50% cheaper that other online suppliers

Was attempting to buy 6 pairs of glasses from this site however the Discount code they provided me did not work i reached out to their Chat support who informed that it was only 5 pairs that the discount applied to. When i asked where this is stated and that the coupon had no limitations advertised they ignored me. I started a new chat and they did the same again. I started a 3rd chat and again as soon as i mentioned that the discount just removed itself rather than applying they ended the chat, I tried a forth chat and they again provided details about a different discount code. I have no clue if the frames would have been any good or not however after experiencing such poor service when trying to buy from them i certainly do not want to chance their service if something went wrong. Avoid this company i will be reporting to Trading standards

Low quality. Broke after summer.

I ordered one pair of bi-focal glasses & gave my prescription. I waited an entire month & they finally arrived.

What arrived though were plastic lenses with the main part being fine but the lower part I need for reading being two tiny, smaller than a penny, circles at the bottom of the lense. It's like it's been melted into the lense & need to hold whatever I want to read at my chest & hold my head up. It's ridiculous.

There's a reason they're called goggles4u & it's because they don't do glasses.

Absolute rubbish & a lesson learned.

Edit. Goggles got back to me & said they'd send me a new pair with the lined bi-focal I requested with different frames of my choice at equal pricing. Funnily, it took a week to get the new glasses instead of over a month & they still sent these blurry circle type of bi-focal lens. Still useless.

What an amazing company just had brilliant customer service chat with a wrong order they was very quick to sort this out .Ray was very patient and understood my issues. I've been using this company for a few years always get quality glasses at a fair price I would 💯%recommend them.even more so knowing that if anything goes wrong they are happy to help resolve things.outstanding company thanks guys

I purchased 1 pair of glasses I did not sign up to their unlimited adverts > I have complained to them to no afect !!! I cannot use my laptop as there is near constant legthy interuption with their ads. stear clear of this outfit

Placed an order as the time the majority of reviews were favorable however five weeks have passed, after sending a query on the delivery was told that they were in production !! no update on the delivery, yesterday received more mail only to be told that the frames weren't sutable for the lenses!!! I replied that five weeks on only to be told this is astonishing as by now I've contacted then three times about delivery also the wrong frames were not flagged during the order process. The final came today another email informing me that the original frames weren't sutable ffs, there is absolutely no mention of a refund or as a goodwill gesture to reduce the cost. To sum up I've given up on them and had to reorder from another "not online" if I ever receive my specs I will update this post but rest assured knowing what I now know avoid at all cost.

Firstly, be aware of their delivery time for standard delivery, it's 14-21 business days.

Secondly, be aware of their returns policy. Unlike competitors who make their glasses in UK, they charge a hefty penalty if you want to return.

I have not yet received my pair and already regretting ordering.

Pays to read the reviews first

I've only given the two stars due to how cheap the glasses were, but now I understand why.

I may update this to one after/when I eventually receive them.

I've been waiting for a month for my glasses. I'm told they shipped and that basically I'll get them when I get them. When I first checked on this company I saw positive reviews. This is a warning to others. Dig deep. Now I'm seeing what are probably more honest, accurate reviews of this company....BAD! I don't have much confidence that I'm going to receive my glasses any time soon and if I do I'm seriously doubting that they will be of good quality. I can tell you one thing for sure. They're advertising for delivery falls seriously short of their promises. Not a good place to start.

so i gave Googles4u a go ordered glasses took 4 weeks for them to arrive only to find plastic glass plasic loose frame slips off the head heated up using a hairdryer to try and bend the ends by the ear with small heat nothing but i guess you get what you pay for ...i used other companies b4 with no issues ,with these glasses vision is not up to scatch ,I for one will not be using them and yes i know what im saying did 3 years doing opticians ,all i will say is pay a bit more and get something better

Googles4U. In the past I have bought several good value glasses off this company but the last two orders have been a waste of money. I ordered a pair of glasses last year and waited quite some time for the order to arrive after several weeks I email Googles4U but did not get any reply a further 3 emails were sent none of them receiving an answer (Very poor communication).
After putting a review on TrustPilot I was contacted and told that they were waiting for my prescription which could have been easily resolved by answering one of my earlier emails.
When I received the glasses the section that allows for reading was a small “D” shape at the bottom of the lens and did not work very well ( The main area for distance was fine). I decided to give them a second chance and ordered a new pair of glasses but was frustrate that the website did not seem to have any option for the bigger elongated type I had on previous orders (This is not a slightly bigger “D” shape but fill almost a third of the bottom of the lens).
I had contacted Googles4U customer support and they said they would make sure the reading section was bigger, when they arrived I fund a slightly bigger “D” shape but still difficult to read.
I have reluctantly given up on this supplier as they seem to have stopped offering the bigger reading lens option which leaves my last two orders not very usable. It’s a pity about their communication as the pricing was good.

Googles4U do you still offer the larger reading section on Bifocal glasses ?

I ordered a pair of glass for over £70. They did not arrive, even 5 weeks later. They have stopped answering my emails to explain why they have not delivered my glasses.

I got prescription swim goggles and prescription sport goggles with my Medicare Advantage optical benefit. I love 'em! Easy to order, helpful website, terrific prices, on-time delivery, good communication.

I am 70 years old man and recently lost my bifocal glasses made by Vision Express. Decided to try book online and sent my prescription to UK Goggles4u 6 of July. Next day I placed my order. 25 day later Googles4u accused me that I gave them wrong delivery address, but I resent them theirs invoice where they printed correct delivery address.
Finally 6 August I have got glasses and found that left lens made wrong - I can't read or see nothing.

Now you will probably accuse me that I gave wrong prescription, but I sent my prescription copy to you and was asking to check it.
Anyway I want to get the refund.

Probably one of the worst companies to deal with - any problems they just ignore emails and stonewall you until you give up. Their support regime is to run you round in circles until all hope is lost. Terrible business, terrible support, terrible product. I'm sure they will, as before, reply to this report by saying 'sorry' and ask to get in touch. When you do, they ignore you. It's how they operate. Avoid at all cost.
