Disappearing Free Delivery
I used customer service as the tracking app GoPlaces used wouldn't work. They responded immediately and efficiently. The main reason I didn't tick 5 stars is that my free shipping disappeared and I was charged £15 as I live north of the Central Belt in Scotland (still on the mainland). Very discriminatory. Either charge no one, or charge everyone a smaller amount! Also the website did not show the https//: nor a padlock on the browser bar when checking out, which my bank flagged.

We’re very sorry, however, that the delivery charge left you feeling that our service was discriminatory or unfair. We completely understand why this would be frustrating, particularly when you are still located on the mainland.
Unfortunately, when deliveries cross into the Scottish Highlands, we are charged significantly different rates by our courier, DPD, and as a business we therefore have to make decisions around how these additional delivery costs are managed. We appreciate that this can feel unfair when you see free delivery available elsewhere on our website, and we’re genuinely sorry for the negative impact this had on your overall experience. We do take your feedback on board and will certainly keep it in mind when reviewing our delivery options and charges.
Thank you also for highlighting the issue you experienced with the website not displaying the https/security padlock during checkout. This is not something we have been made aware of previously, so we will certainly look into this with our website team. We really appreciate you bringing it to our attention, particularly as your bank flagged it.

I was on a bit of deadline to get a suitcase and accessories delivered. True to form and as advertised, Go Places delivered the next day on time for my trip the following day. This is very appreciated as most organizations do not do not deliver on their promises.
