I found the Women in Leadership course to be useful and interactive. There were about 8 of us on the call and throughout the day, there were opportunities for breakout rooms so we could have discussions before feeding back to the rest of the team. Personally, I found the breakout room discussions to be the most valuable. The host was also a very engaging and nice person. Some theoretical parts did overlap slightly with some other management courses but obviously, the discussions at this session were focussed on some challenges women have been known to have. There were people from a wide range of professions, including some which have more males than females. I would say that most of the people who were attending the course had recently stepped into a middle management/leadership role. It might not be as useful for someone who has been in a higher position for a longer period of time. I am very glad I was able to attend this course.

As soon as I had booked, Gov PD were great at communication and keeping in touch before the training date. They gave a contact to use in case of any tech issues (which there wasn't). The trainer delivering the course was extremely knowledgeable, clear, allowed time for people to ask questions or share knowledge. The course was laid out really clearly and easy to follow. I found it to be really beneficial and would certainly recommend it to others!

The HSC course was very interesting and provided us with a lot of materials to effectively use our training in our workplace. I couldn't recommend them enough for courses and I definitely will be attending more in the future!

This was a really interesting and topical subject. Its an eye opener to anyone in education and well worth the time.

The course was delivered in a friendly and entertaining manner by Rachel. The ability for all attendees to share experiences was an invaluable part of the course. The way the course was delivered with a mix of group work, discussion and Rachel's presentation meant there was plenty of opportunities to ask questions and time to process the information that was discussed. There was plenty of elements that I will be implementing going forward.

The course was engaging throughout and has given me so many great ideas to apply to my job going forward. The resources given for the course as well can be used anytime and would be helpful to anyone no matter the role you are in!
