the site is structured to make us believe we are dealing with the official government agency
I filled out my visa application on the govis.ia website, believing I was on the official government site. The fee was exorbitant, and I realized I couldn't afford to charge that amount to my credit card.
I immediately requested to cancel the service and get a refund, as I cannot proceed with the process, but I haven't received a response yet. I am shocked by how the site is structured to make us believe we are dealing with the official government agency that issues visas.
Update (sep/15): After 4 business days, the company refused to cancel my order or issue any refund, claiming that "processing had already commenced" — despite my cancellation request being sent within hours of the purchase. They have provided no evidence of any actual work performed on my file in that time. I am now pursuing a chargeback with my credit card issuer and filing complaints with consumer protection authorities.
Update (sep/17): The company replied publicly here stating that GOVIS is a private assistance service, not the government, and that pricing is clearly displayed before payment. My complaint is not about that distinction. My concern is that the total charge was only clearly shown at the very last step, and I was led to believe the amount was in Australian dollars, when it was actually charged in US dollars — significantly increasing the real cost to me.
Additionally, under Brazilian consumer protection law (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, Art. 49), consumers have the right to withdraw from any online purchase within 7 days, with a full refund, no justification required. I exercised this right within hours of my purchase, and it was still denied, with no evidence provided of any actual work performed on my file in that short window.
I am now pursuing a chargeback with my credit card issuer and a formal complaint with consumer protection authorities. I remain open to a full refund being issued directly, which would resolve this matter.
Update (sep/21): My bank has accepted my dispute and issued a provisional refund while the investigation continues. Shortly after, GOVIS contacted me asking that I withdraw the dispute directly with my bank, claiming again that processing had already begun. I declined, since no personal documents (passport, photos, etc.) were ever submitted — only a form filled out before payment. I have forwarded this exchange to my bank as part of the ongoing investigation.

HIGHLY MISLEADING.. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
I mistakenly used GOVIS’s $99 12-hour processing service after finding it as the first option on Google. The site looked like a government/official visa page to me, and there is no mention in the results page of it being a third-party service. I believed I was using the appropriate website for a VISA application. I only realised after paying that GOVIS is a private US intermediary and that the VISA costs just $7 directly from the government website.
Only 35 minutes after payment, I asked GOVIS to cancel and refund me. They acknowledged my request, yet their application was still shown as “Pending Approval” afterwards. Despite this, they refused the refund and continued processing it despite the fact that I had already obtained one directly in 5 minutes.
I later found other customers describing similar experiences.
In my view, the combination of prominent Google placement, a government-like presentation and a $99 charge for a process that costs about $7 directly is highly misleading.

This is basically a scam website. They take your information and resubmit it on the official visa agency of the relevant Visa authority making you think all along the day are the official website. For example I applied for an Israel ETA which costs $7. On this website it cost 99 and unfortunately I thought it was the official government agency which it is not, spare yourself $92 and go directly.

I applied for a Visa to the Philippines, for Cebu not Manila! I got a weird scatchy QR code for the airport of Maila, even though this was never mentioned in the application! I never got any money back, because there is obviously no costumer service as it is fully AI generated. I applied at the Phillipino Ambassy, as I live and work in Vienna and they gave me visa within 2 Weeks!! No problems with the Ambassy and tourist visa whatsoever. GOVIS on the contrary took 2 Months for accomplishing NOTHING and robbing me of 160€!!!! I still have all the e-mails with their BS answers and usless unauthorised information! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PAGE!

This website is extremely misleading.
I was trying to apply for the official South Korea K-ETA and ended up here because it appeared at the top of the search results. It looks and feels like an official government website, but it is actually a private company charging an outrageous fee.
I was charged USD 99 for a service that costs a fraction of that on the official government website. I realized this almost immediately and contacted customer support asking them to cancel my order and refund me.
In my opinion, the way this website is presented is designed to confuse travelers into believing they are using the official K-ETA service. If I had known this was just a third-party agency, I would have left immediately.
Save your money and apply through the official Korean government K-ETA website instead. I would never recommend this company.

I do **not** recommend using GOVIS.AI for Vietnam visa services.
I paid **$600 USD** for expedited visa processing for my family, and the service failed in a way that caused major travel and financial problems. The adults in my family were issued visas for **06/28/2026–07/02/2026**, but my **8-year-old son** was somehow issued a visa for only **one day**. We were all traveling together, the applications were submitted together, and there is no logical reason a minor child traveling with his mother should have completely different visa dates from the rest of the family.
Because of this error, I **missed my flight**, had to **pay for a hotel**, and had to **rebook airfare**. After taking my money for “expedited” service, the company then failed to properly resolve the issue.
My problem is not just that there was an error — mistakes can happen. My problem is that I paid a very high fee specifically to avoid exactly this kind of situation, and the service did not deliver what was promised. If you are charging premium prices for expedited immigration/visa assistance, then your process needs to be accurate, timely, and capable of fixing problems when they arise.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone against using this company, especially if your travel is time-sensitive or if you are traveling with children. The cost, stress, and disruption were absolutely not worth it.

In your case, your son's visa application was approved by the immigration authorities before we had the opportunity to request an amendment to the travel dates. Because his application was the only one that required correction, we immediately worked to request an amendment with the immigration authorities. Unfortunately, once an application has already been approved, any changes are subject entirely to the immigration authority's procedures and processing times.
We also wish to clarify that the one-day validity period was not determined by GOVIS but was the validity issued by the immigration authorities as part of their approval decision. While we understand the frustration this caused, visa validity and approval conditions are determined exclusively by the relevant immigration authority.

A scam visa service
Previously, I made a mistake applying for an Australian visa with this website. The company couldn't apply for the visa for me. Literally, it's like I have to do all the documents myself with them pointing the finger to what to do. The company replied with details on how they would refund 40% of the application paid. Six weeks passed by and no response from them. They are a total liar and again a SCAM. Plus, they don't promise that they can keep my information safe as they have all copies of my official document. The website should be banned for unable to even help people to apply for the visa easily and safely.

Total rip-off, fake updates, ignored cancellation
Do not touch this site. They pay to sit at the top of search results so they look like the official Israeli government portal, just to trick people and overcharge them massive fees for an ETA-IL that literally costs about £5.
As soon as I realized they were a third-party middleman, I emailed them immediately to cancel before they even touched my application. Instead of refunding me, they sent a generic email claiming it was "pending approval" just so they could keep my cash. Total lie. I had already been to the official government site (israel-entry.piba.gov.il), applied myself, and got the real approval back in less than 5 minutes.
They provide absolutely zero service, ignore cancellation requests, and send fake status updates. Avoid them and just go direct. Disputing this with my bank right now.
