I am the owner of International Logistics and Freight Pros, LLC.
I am writing a grievance against GovPrep due to the broken promises and misinformation that was given: 1.) Overselling the company’s scope/capability 2.) The ability receive assistance with contracts acquisition or procurement. 3.) The direction from Jeanette, GovPrep’s owner.

I was referred to this company, GovPrep, from my good buddy. I received an intake from two of the GovPrep’s representatives/associates and negotiated the price. The price would be inclusive of the certification and then the price for aiding in a contract acquisition would be charged afterwards. Apparently, both are no longer with the company (As Jeanette stated, one of them is now a FELON and he put the company at RISK). I was told misinformation that the company would assist with the certification of the SDVOSB and then directly assist with procurement in contracts. I remember that the rep told me that they had either a point of contact and/or a way in to contracts in the Raleigh, NC area. These highly reputable companies were such as SAS, REDHAT, ORACLE & similar tech companies. As I would later find out, that would not be true.
To receive my SDVOSB I had to quit my job. With the guidance of GovPrep, I felt I had adequate backing, so I resigned. Three days later I got my certificate, but immediately after, I started to notice that I wasn’t receiving any communication from GovPrep. About a week later, I called Jeanette and emailed her multiple times until I finally got a reply and a meeting with another GovPrep’s associate (Andy). During that conversation I found out that the contract SME that GovPrep uses is an outside source. Unfortunately, that conversation then led to the contracting SME stating the fee would be $250/hr. And since I wasn’t aware of the additional charge, he directed me to get looped back into Jeanettes schedule to get a better understanding of fees. At this point it really seemed like a Bait and switch.
Lastly, I would talk to jeanette 2 or 3 more times. Each time it seemed like jeanette was more and more DISTANT from what I needed as a customer. These led to more empty promises than the first two colleagues that did my initial intake. During the entire time, time continues to ticket off the clock as I’m unemployed waiting on their guidance to get assistance with SAMs.

Chief complaint: Although I did receive the SDVOSB with assistance from GovPrep. The purpose of working with GovPrep was: 1.) Assist with SDVOSB, 2.) Aid in contracts acquisition 3.) Assist my company in maintaining a contract at an infant state. These were all promises initially made. My decisions for the last 12 months were predicated upon this initial direction. There were also promises that jeanette spoke upon in our meetings that never materialized. Due to this experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND a company that cannot keep their word, does half tail-work, and gets over on VETERANS. As of 5/16/2022, she was supposed to call and give guidance on the next steps 2 weeks ago. I never got any calls, and I was told that she was in a conference and did not listen to the voicemail I left.

I'm writing this message voluntarily to speak to you about the service and treatment I have received from Gov Prep.

I have been in business since 2014 and I have attempted to navigate the SAM Government Contracting process many times and have not been very successful. I tried other companies that claim they will help you to navigate the labyrinth but fall very short on delivery. There are many details, some big and others not as big that need to be addressed. As a business owner running a busy operation I know the finer details always matter. However, many times because we're so involved and busy, some details can be missed and fall through the cracks. It can be a bit overwhelming to know where to go, what form is the correct form, who to talk to ( if you can actually find the right person or department). It's a nightmare!!!

Since I signed up with GovPrep I have not been disappointed! They do what they say they will do. GovPrep eased that pain and pressure. They worked with me to resolve issues that other companies neglected to deal with. This for me was a breath of fresh air in a very stagnant place.

The progress was very strong, thorough and direct. I felt and saw that I was advised, and informed step by step during this process. With GovPrep it feels like I have my own team working towards Sirenet Solutions success!
I receive constant communications by email and I do receive actual phone calls, so I do talk to a real person. They call and return calls promptly. It feels great that I am able to develop relationships with people, not a messaging system. That fact has helped me build more confidence in GovPrep's ability. They worked with me openly and all cards on the table!

If you're looking for a way to get through the Government Contracting maze give GovePrep a chance you won't be disappointed.

I would like to thank your company for the excellent customer service from your staff, especially Andy, Stephanie and Mark. You guys made the entire process easy to understand, and your great staff members answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns during the process. My business is an a much better place now with the help of Govprep, I’ve tried other companies who provides certification services, but Govprep gave me the best price in the market and your company went above and beyond my expectations as far as I was expecting. I will happily recommend Govprep to any minority, woman, veterans, and disable veteran owned companies.
