Complete disappointment

Complete disappointment. They promised REAL CASH back 20% after trip VIDEO testimony submission ..but later denied. Said its reward point/ coin which to be redeemed in next trip.

Didn’t turn up. Left me stranded.

I prepaid and booked weeks in advance for a pickup from the airport to our hotel. I gave the flight details so they knew exactly when we landed. Outside the terminal. There were dozens of taxi drivers waiting, but ours was not there. We looked all over but nobody there. Ended up getting another taxi. When we arrived at the hotel and got on WiFi there was a message in WhatsApp from the driver saying “hiiii”. I complained he wasn’t there and he argued with me “I should have got WiFi and told him I was there waiting”. Dozens of other taxi drivers met that flight and stood with names on cards. Not our driver though. Nowhere to be seen. To really rub salt in the wound after we were abandoned after a 10 hour flight, the company are claiming that I was a “no show” so they’re charging me an additional 1117 rupees, about £11. Diabolical service, a complete rip off. The taxi I got at the airport was actually half the price Gozo charged me as well. Absolutely do not use them.

Extremely Poor

Extremely Poor. The booking (OW50-5689567) from bhopa to Indore on 28th Nov 2025 was cancelled by the driver and there was lot of inconvenience for me and family at bhopal railway station.

I am your old customer but this treatment metted out to me is very poor in taste and reflects on your company ethics and the drivers engaged.

Earlier the message was received that the driver is delayed by 1287 minutes, the location was Bangalore. There was no response from your side despite several calls and message to Gozo cabs and this caused panic and mental agony to my family with lady and girl child.

The driver cancelled the booking and kept calling for a personal trip on the same rate. I had to travel by Ola (CRN 10158724857) on the same route and i had to pay more but they proved out to be more reliable than you.

You have seized by 30% rather than paying me compensation and apologize. All whatsapp sales numbers (7003099069 & one more number) were non-responsive. You proved to be cheaters only. Shame on you.

Cheating. Beware

Cheating! Beware.
Booked Gozo Cabs (ID: OW50-5297060) well in advance. Just 1 hour before pickup, they cancelled, falsely claiming I cancelled it! Their agent Megha called me multiple times the day before—now her phone is switched off. Got a fake apology from their booking team. All cheats. Left me stranded last minute. Absolutely untrustworthy!

Responsible cab company

Below is my original review. Some negatives (regarding the old car and the whole experience) still stand. However, to Gozo cab's credit, they refunded me the overcharged amount. Therefore, I am updating my rating to 4 stars.

On the positive side, the driver was good at driving – actually among the better drivers I've encountered. He was also punctual and courteous.

However, there were significant negatives:

1. It was a really, really old vehicle with torn seats and over 182,000 km on the clock. It had clearly been driven hard and was essentially at the end of its service life.
2. Turned out, the driver was two-faced. He overcharged me like I haven’t been in years. I'd relaxed about insisting on receipts for everything and paid the price. He was a liar through and through.
3. Gozo initially said they would follow up after my trip, but for a long time, there was nothing. There seemed to be no clear way to address issues, and it was unclear if they'd take any action. Essentially, they just connect you with a driver, and that's it.

My summary at that point was that Gozo was like Uber without the technology; they don’t track the trip or manage the billing. They take their 25% fee upfront, leaving the rest for you to 'negotiate' with the driver. If drivers had to fill in fields at the end – starting/ending kms, parking, tolls, etc. – maybe the company could intercede. But that system doesn't exist. Renting from them means they contract a cab for you, and the rest of the transaction is purely between you and the driver.

So once the trip starts, it seems they are hands-off. If they required drivers to log details like tolls, taxes, and parking, or scan receipts, perhaps customers would have some transparency and recourse. As it stands, paying them just to connect you with a car feels pointless.

After I posted a negative review on social media, they replied saying they would follow up.

Again, nothing happened. Furthermore, there appeared to be no real system for dispute resolution.

When I finally wrote to them directly, they initiated some follow-up. However, rather than providing actual cost breakdowns, the driver tried to negotiate, offering me 500 Rs. to retract my complaint and review. I refused. I don't want 500 Rs; I want honesty. Since then, the company has gone silent and won't respond. Fine.

So, the bottom line is... Gozo seems to be Uber without the technology, without the willingness to genuinely intermediate and guarantee the price, and without any due process to check if the charges make sense. If they aren't willing to integrate basic checks (like comparing driver-inputted tolls against actual toll data), what service are they truly providing beyond finding a driver?

Buyer beware.

I booked plenty of rides with them but…

I booked plenty of rides with them but unfortunately I had to cancel all except three. And because of these three rides my experience for moving with remaining got changed.

1. Initial ride was good.
2. Driver didn't turn up at the airport and I had to hire another local can in a new city
3. Driver met with an accident while driving along with us onboard. And we had to stop our on going journey.

I must say, they don't have their cabs, all are local cabs operators that they have contacted with. Lots of miscommunication and followup from support is needed.

Agree avoid this firm

Agree avoid this firm. I wrote a negative review on well known travel site. They reply saying to contact them for a resolution. When you try and contact you get no reply again. Unsafe cars and unsafe drivers. Use at your own risk.

I had booked Mumbai International Airport to Pune SUV, paid 100% in advance, and had also received a confirmation email.

Arrived at airport at 5am, after a long flight, to realize that the driver/ vehicle details had not be sent to me yet. Called their support number, but it only had an automated response which was not helpful. After multiple tries and emails without any response, ended up taking an Uber.

Later, I wrote to GozoCabs, asking what had gone wrong, and demanding a refund. Their response was that driver tried to contact you, and we cannot refund since you did not pick driver's call. 100% bulls**t!

I ended up getting my refund from the credit card company, after filing a claim with them the Chase Visa.
Avoid these frauds! You have been warned.

This is my second review of this…

This is my second review of this fraudster.

After my first review, they called me as they offered a price matching the original offer. Then I realised that they were fooling us.

With all the so-called discounts they cost more than the competition. The kilometres covered for a journey is 10% less than another provider. They claim that the cancellations are free, but I was charged an amount on the pretext of manual assistance. The fact was the call came from them to resolve the issues. The refunds automatically go to their wallet without offering any option at the time of cancellation. Then you need to call then to get your money back.

I hate to keep any association with such fraudsters. I feel threatened to keep my details with such unscrupulous people.

There is no option for you to cancel your account with them. This violates the Privacy Act of many countries.

I am taking the issues to the consumer court in India - particularly against their refusal to cancel my account.
