Unbeliveable day, went to grease monkey, 630 W. Nasa , Webster Texas to change my oil, was there 6/26 for oil change. I changed my solenoid spool 2 days ago and its advisable to change the oil also. I arrive at today 9am 9/8/26, I also bring my oil and filter , the price to change oil was reasonable. They couldnt unscrew the oil plug, claimed it kept spinning, any one with half a brain knows the last oil changer over tighten the plug stripping it also cross threading it. They say the manager will come in at 1am. Im there at 12noon waiting then they say the manager will not come to the shop. They say they can put a temporary plug in until I can replace the stripped oil pan, which they are respondible for, I tell them there employee caused the damage, so they call the manager after arguing We negotiate to use the temporary plug they install my oil and filter free of charge , I would have to buy another oil pan and install...they damaged. .They couldnt install temporary oil plug, Im there for 3hours. they drain the oil but cannot install oil plug. I go into office sit down and tell the other customers what is happening to me, the oil changer comes in and says dont harrass customers, when im having a conversation, they call the police, the police tell me the owner can have my car removed so I call AAA. I tow to a station walking distance to my home it will cost me $850.00 to get another oil pan installed. The owner is no good bad business practices and ethics, I have to go to civil court and that will be a year or two away.

What should have been a simple oil change at Grease Monkey, 2965 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell GA, ended up costing me an additional $386.45 in repairs. The engine in my 2018 VW Tiguan misfired badly immediately after the oil was replaced, and three Grease Monkey technicians present could not find a cause. Eventually the person who seemed to be the store manager told me to take the vehicle to a mechanic who specialized in VW, and also said that Grease Monkey would compensate me for any repairs that were needed to fix any problem they created. The following morning I drove that vehicle to a VW dealer. It turned out that nearly all of the oil had been ejected from the engine during my drive to the dealer. The service included removal of the oil pan and inspection to identify whether metal particles were present due to wear from running low on oil. I was told that both the engine misfiring and the loss of oil resulted from the incomplete insertion of the oil dipstick. I had not touched that dipstick after the oil change, and therefore it is clear that a Grease Monkey technician had not pushed the dipstick firmly into the tube so that it seated properly and did not result in an engine vacuum leak. The dipstick itself was fine and did not need to be replaced. I sent a certified letter to the owner-of-record of that Grease Monkey store, asking for compensation of $386.45. As of four months later, I have not received the decency of a response from him or any other person from Grease Monkey.

We have been to the shop in Sharpsburg Ga. twice now and will return. The staff is friendly, professional, quick and do a complete trustworthy job.

These people have been caught forging invoices, faking work done as well as inflation of labor and parts cost up to 3 times the norm. I have digital proof as well as written statements from other shops and mechanics.
They creatively acquired approx $2,000 of my money. I still have many of the same problems on my truck as when I rolled into there shop to have them fixed.
