Josh and the team were wonderful, helpful and kept me informed all the way through.

It has been a pleasure to deal with the team at Green.com.au. from the initial communication with Kevin Manns, Lauren Rowe and James Law, to the professional standard of the installer; Shahir Sean, and finally the post installation communication by Samantha Galvez.

The installer, Shahir Sean was punctual, polite, tidy and they made some adjustments to the original stack to accommodate the additional module, making sure everything was completed with integrity.

I have had a few weeks now to monitor the Battery Storage System with this extra module installed and can confidently say it more than meets my expectations of storing excess power to cover days when my load draw is high, and, when we finally change from gas hot water storage to electric we will have more than enough stored power to accommodate the additional load.

The process was fairly simple.

After contacting Green online, one of their crew members contacted me by phone, and we discussed my household's needs and current situation.
From there, it was a few emails back and forth with questions, photos of the meterbox etc.

They then sent me an official quote, which we liked and agreed to. We paid a small deposit, and that was that.

We were lucky enough to get bumped up, and our new system was installed sooner than expected. It was not identical to what was quoted, but the Team at Green quickly updated the build/quote and resent it to me to sign.

Installation was a breeze, their contractors here in WA were polite, quick and very neat. The 30kW of batteries and 10kW of panels were installed in half a day (old panels and other equipment needed to be removed)

Very happy with the process and the results so far.

James Howard tried contacting me 3 times in one day. When I didn’t respond, he rudely text me question marks????

He didn’t empathise that people have other priorities, including family, illness and work. Also that such a big financial decision required time to consider.

He advised that his company was more expensive, due to their follow up service. This seemed inconsistent with consumer law and their legal obligations regarding warranty and to provide a solar system that is “fit for purpose”. If they do the job right, shouldn’t there be little follow up? Why should I have to pay more for what they are legally obliged to provide?

I asked him to provide a quote with specific parameters, so that I could compare solar quotes from other companies. He reluctantly did this, in conjunction with sending an upsized quote, that he insisted on.

If Green management would like proof of this communication, I authorise trustpilot to release my email address to them.

From our first contact with Green Env we were impressed by their knowledge and information. We never felt they were being pushy. After deciding to go ahead with Green Env it was all done within a week. The tradies we had here were very professional and didn't stop working until they finished. Highly recommended this company!!

Christian and his team arrived on time, worked late and showed me how to use the app once it was all done, a proper handover
Everything about the experience was excellent

The entire process was conducted remotely which concerned me initially as 2 other companies did face to face inspections however the Greens team were able identify all issues power board issues location etc via the process we went through. The location proposed by the installers was exactly as identified by others. The 2 electricians that did the install were spot on time for arrival calculations of power down and completion/commissioning. Significantly more professional than the company that did the install of my original panels. Greens kept in touch with me prior to and after the install which I thought was great Customer service

They showed up right on time promised and completed the job on schedule with a very high standard of workmanship. All the mess was cleaned up after and all that was left was a very neat install. Overall I was not only very pleased with the result but also kind of surprised as this level of workmanship and timeliness is unusual. Would absolutely recommend and use them again.

Very knowledgeable sales staff, Installers same, neat job.

Had to change installation date a few times out of stock in batteries out of stock in the panels bad weather but no notification that they weren’t coming sat around waiting no phone call so quite poor service

Our installer, Justin, was extremely knowledgeable, polite and took his time to explain everything to us, he even made sure that we knew how to use the app.
The battery is performing exactly us expected, we had a bit of a wait but woth every cents.

Solar Panel and Battery Installation
The company spent a good amount of time explaining the technology, the installation process and our individual needs for our property. If an individual staff member was not sure how to answer our questions they put us onto someone who did.
All the administration requirements were taken care of with Ausgrid and AGL as well as the government rebates for the battery.
At installation time, the installer made suggestions to improve the location of the panels and battery to give a better outcome.

We paid a deposit for the installation of a mid-sized battery system in November 2025 and Green.com.au still refuse to discuss installation dates - they can’t even give broad estimates which leads me to guess that they have such poor relationships with subcontractors in the ACT that no-one will take on their work. They have promised weekly updates but have never followed through. We have reached out to their customer service rep Lauren on several occasions only to be brushed off and advised they are very busy because the solar rebates scheme has increased demand. It’s quite clear that greed has gotten the better of them and they have signed contracts in full knowledge that they don’t have capacity to deliver. What’s worse is they continue to advertise this false sense of urgency to get new customers onboard before the subsidy winds back next month - how about you just follow through on the business you already have!? Worst customer experience ever AND they still have our deposit.
