It’s been a great tool to help our son save and spend money in this almost cashless system.

there are several functionality issues with the app that detracts from its user friendliness, especially for a paid app. i have sent them into the review page and have noted these are common concerns from other customers. however, i don't see greenlight making any changes based on the feedback being provided. until greenlight starts listening and incorporating feedback to improve its product, i will not recommend this and will recommend friends find alternatives to GL due to the greenlight functionality limitations and cost.

Ive been trying to close the account with no success.

One of my children had issues with the debit card at several vendors.

Horrible!! Do not use this app!! I got this as a way for my son to have a credit card when he was 16 going to a wrestling tournament. I'll take responsibility for the fact that I didn't read the terms and conditions closely enough but it was charging me $17.40 monthly to maintain a balance of just over $100 on my son's card that's highway crazy!! Juice is not worth the squeeze.

This is such an easy and great way tp deliver money to grandkids, and monitor their spending.

Took a month to get an issue with the beginner’s tutorial resolved.

My grandkids love it! They have their own money, and they feel grown! I enjoy seeing them go shopping. Best thing I could have done for them!!!

I don't like that I can only load $20 or more to my GL wallet. I'll likely be ending our account as soon as I find a card that I can simply add the amount of money I want to without all the other stuff attached

Using Greenlight has been wonderful for my family ! My grandson lives far away and we’re able to assist and teach using Greenlight.

Stop charging to load money and a monthly fee.Otherwise the refund went well.

Greenlight is the first tool that's actually worked to help my daughter earn money and actually WANT to earn money. She likes having a card of her own because it makes her feel a little bit grown up in a way. A greenlight account was the most practical financial teaching tool for us because of the ease of transferring/paying her for the chores we give her. There's minimal back and forth between us past assigning chores. I love that I can just say "Hey I have these chores for you in greenlight" and so and so and as soon as she's done and I check it off she gets paid. I don't have to remember pay her allowance either because there's the option of a weekly automatic transfer. Also, it's easy to change these actions whenever. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because you have to pay for the debit card in addition to the membership fee. Also, the app could be little easier to navigate but it's not too bad. Great app overall and I recommend it to family and friends.

Works really well with chores and managing my little one's money.

The billing date moves to shorten the cycle. I was initially charged on the 14th, then the 8th and finally on the 7th. Seems like deceitful business practices...

Can’t log into app and can’t get help anywhere

Customer service and the support gotten as a first time customer or user was a wonderful experience. Encourage very parent to enroll.

I have multiple children and wish I had the ability to change an added chore from one child to another. Instead I have to delete a chore and read it completely and assign it to a different child.

I also wish the up for grabs feature worked differently, where a chore would be up for grabs each day and once a child grabbed it for that day it could be open to a different child for the next day. Instead once a child grabs it it is assigned to them permanently and I have to delete it and not use the upper grabs option.

It’s not what I thought it was going to be and regret ever using it.
