What today's delivery for the elderly look like

The delivery individual behaved in a rude manner while asking for the resident in this independent living community. This writer explained that staff do not deliver items directly to residents’ doors. Before this writer could contact the resident to meet him in the lobby, he placed the bags on the floor near the mailboxes and stated, “They come get their mail, don’t they?” This behavior is unacceptable, as it demonstrates a lack of respect and consideration for elderly residents.

Won't use again

Used it for the first time since I bundled peacock streaming with walmart plus. 24 hours late and the made an unacceptable substitution.
Add to it the tipping and $35 minimum for shipping and that is the last time I will use it.
Shame on Walmart.

Walmart For Online Grocery Delivery From Now On

I just switched to Walmart because my other online grocer did something to their site re "security" that I, as an honest regular customer could not solve and after promises they didn't come up with, I decided to try Walmart. Was I pleasantly surprised! The site offers a view of the item, the price clearly stated, a range of items and the delivery is easy, more inexpensive and right up to my door on the second floor by a cheerful, tidy deliverer. What I love most is that any time until my delivery even up to the day, I can add items. Wow, I will never go back to the "other" store.

Walmart does not follow the membership…

Walmart does not follow the membership benefits. I joined when an illness severly impacted my mobility. The produce quality i would rate as often unusable. It’s arrived in various states of decay. Today my order was delivered reeking of cigarette smoke. Even the packaging of each item smelled heavily of cigarettes. Although for the time and day you choose for delivery states there is no delivery charge, the contracted delivery service charges me $9.99 in addition to an optional tip. So essentially it’s not free delivery even though you are charged a yearly membership fee. The membership benefits state free pickup for returns with a membership. Today, when completing a return for food items reeking of cigarette smoke from the delivery driver, the app told me I had to take all the cigarette smoke damaged food items to Walmart myself for a refund. There was no free pickup for return of the items. The only safe items to order are non food items but it’s a gamble if they will actually be in stock. I’ve made a delivery order with the service showing the driver less than a mile from my home only to have the driver turn around and not deliver. I’ve used Amazon delivery for fresh produce numerous times. When the Walmart membership expires, the most sensible choice for a grocery delivery service for me will definitely be Amazon. So in short, my bad experiences on repeated occasions have been decaying produce, Walmart stating false and deceptive membership benefits, and the delivery service not requiring drivers refrain from smoking and charging an additional $9.99 fee of their own in addition to requesting a driver tip.

Watch out for extra charges on your credit card when placing a Walmart order.

I placed a grocery pickup order on April 7,2026, at the DeSoto W Parkerville road Neighborhood Walmart. I was billed twice with two different amounts for the same grocery pickup order. The first charge and the correct amount of $84.97 and another charge of $92.63. I called customer service and after going through the automated system to reach a human I was told it would take up to ten days before my money will be refunded to my account. I want to warn consumers and express my displeasure with Walmart.

Always missing items! They need to hold the drivers accountable because it happens way too often. I’m sure the drivers are keeping items they want and that is unacceptable. Then Walmart will give you a hard time to get a refund for the item you never received. Horrible and it’s getting worse.

Online ordering disaster

The stock shown on the website is rarely accurate. If you select a 3 hour window, you have to watch your phone for 3 hours so you dont miss the text telling you what showed in stock is actually out of stock.
Today I placed an order for 9 items. 4 items appeared at my doorstep with the order info showing 9 items delivered. The driver still had 3 items in her car and 2 were being shipped (contradicting the 9 items delivered email). I guess you have to check your phone and email for 3 hours.
Suggestions: call us with issues!! Double check your work product.
Let us speak to a person.

Walmart is basically stealing my money every month.

Walmart needs to stop using contracted delivery drivers if they are going to continue to offer delivery service. This is absolutely absurd. On more than one occasion my order has been forcibly cancelled due to Walmarts inability to find a delivery person. I pay for Walmart+, and I am not tipping any percentage of my purchases.
It is beyond belief that a multi billion dollar corporation like Walmart wants to charge me monthly for a service they obviously cannot provide.
Stop expecting consumers to pay for the service then pay again for the service. I'm not tipping for delivery. I don't tip USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, or any other company employees I already paid for delivery service. Walmart needs to buy their own fleet and properly pay delivery staff, or stop offering and accepting payments for a service they cannot provide.

I thought this would be a good idea to…

I thought this would be a good idea to get groceries delivered to my house. There are CONSTANT ISSUES with every delivery.

1. Drivers can’t find apartment regardless of very detailed instructions

2. Drivers don’t speak English so they yell at you in a foreign language

3. Walmart doesn’t show second line of address to driver they have to hit a down arrow to see apartment number and they cannot grasp how this works.

4. Missing items or wrong items being delivered is constant.

5. Drivers do not have common sense. They will block your door with items so you can’t open it.

Overall it’s a good idea but as long as they keep using door dash or Uber Eats to deliver their groceries they will continue to fail.

Walmart is not honest

Walmart is not honest, I had 2 delivery coming from the store the first one a pool for my dogs. The second food items. When the food items got to my home at2:58 I checked on the pool, it said it was 8 stops away. Then about 10 minutes later I got an email saying. They attempted to deliver the pool at 2:38. Tried to find out what was going on. And all I could talk to was this stupid machine. That just kept coming up with lies and the would not let me cancel order. I am sick of companies that are not honest

Delivery at Walmart is a Gamble

I placed an order for delivery because I was sick. For HOURS it stated it was “delayed.” It’s not a busy part of the month and all items were available. I believe it’s because I selected the 5% tip amount because my order wasn’t big and I live close to the store. I Will never use their delivery service again.

So again walmart doesn't disappoint

So again walmart doesn't disappoint. Went to return 2 items, one i had a receipt the other I didn't. The one with a receipt, no problem. The other item she said she couldn't return, until I said it's on my credit card and she said oh. Mind you above her is the return policy, 90 days with or without receipt. Again, is it because I'm white, cause other people had no problem. Or am I being monitored. Again she had a smirk on her face when she said she couldn't return the other item till I said it's on my card.
And again no one has returned my call from cooperate office from a previous problem I had when the walmart employee said I had to do her job for her because she was too lazy to get me a manager.

I’m losing confidence in Walmart

I’m losing confidence in Walmart! Incorrect items, spoiled fruit, large ordered deliveries not delivered and they’re either taking my order or they’re delivering to the wrong location. Customer service is ridiculous anymore! Non-English speaking delivery drivers purchase incorrect items constantly!

The worst experience

The worst experience! Ordered grocery for my mom and it was supposed to be delivered between 8-10p (ridiculous)!!! Then receive an email at 9:50p sayings it's delayed until 11:20p, sad thing is the store closes at 11p! HOW?! So I called and they give me some bs and say we're reschedule for yomorrie morning... If I experience another issue, I'm canceling this mess. I don't shop Walmart because I've never had good experiences and it's nothing short of ghetto. Definitely not worth my money!

Scan and Go is just another self checkout lane

I mainly use scan and go. Was happily a member of Walmart plus since it started when we lived in Salem, Indiana. Moved to New Albany, Indiana and got tired of paying for the service and still having to stand in long lines because employees allow, and encourage, non members to treat our Walmart+ lanes as self checkout lanes. It's whole selling point was faster checkouts, but this store doesn't care so I cancelled my membership today. If I'm still waiting on other people to self checkout I might as well self checkout myself and save the money on membership fees.
