I saw Angie’s at GroHair clinic last week with concerns about loosing my hair which has been shedding for almost 2 years. The clinic was easy to find. Angie was welcoming and made me feel comfortable immediately. She listened to my concerns and asked the appropriate questions to enable her to gather a very comprehensive history of my hair loss journey and any events relating to it. She explained everything as we chatted, hair growth cycle , my past vitamin/hormone deficiencies etc.
She carried out a physical examination of my hair and mapped my scalp which she showed me later on the screen. This was very interesting and informative and thankfully quite reassuring.
She recommended a regime which I’m very happy with.
Angie was more than generous with her time. I only wish I had found her earlier rather than going through this hair loss journey alone.
There is no hard sell, she said she may not have to see me again in clinic if things improve but I know she is there if I do have any further issues. Her follow up email with patient summary was impressive and showed how attentive throughout she had been.
I would honestly recommend Angie at GroHair. I wish I had gone sooner.

I booked to see angie after many failed attempts to get an answer from my gp about why my hair was falling out. I was getting nowhere and my hair was getting worse
For five years I’ve tried to hide my hair and forget it was happening but I had to face upto it and find out what was going on so I made my booking to see Angie
I went to the clinic feeling anxious and extremely nervous and very upset I soon was made to feel comfortable and assured
Angie so easy to speak too she took her time to listen to me understand my upset about my hair falling out she did a number of tests checking my head and finally I got my answer. Everything was explained and it started to make sense
The information help and advice I got was invaluable even emails after about other things regarding my hair care journey Angie helped me so much
The time she takes to explain everything and answer questions made me feel so much more at ease
My one regret I didn’t see her sooner going there has made a massive difference to my mental health and now I’m on a journey back to get my hair back with the correct support and treatment and finally a plan I know now what to do that wouldn’t have been possible if i hadn’t have seen Angie

For around 5 years I was having really back acne on my scalp, it started after my wife passed away, all of a sudden I developed spots all over my scalp. For a start I was a man of 45 yrs with no hair, my life changed over night. I tried searching for a cure, I was self medicating, I tried creams and lotions, in the end I was wearing a cap to cover my scalp, after 5 years if not more of loosing all my confidence in myself, , I found Grow Hair in Hull, Angie was the contact, so I messaged her, she replied within 48 hours, she booked me in, and started to treat my scalp, 18 months later my scalp is back to normal, treatment stopped after 12 months or so, no more spots. Angie is so caring and makes you feel that if you stick to the Treatment plan it can work, for me it worked, I can live my life without hiding my scalp, having nights out again, even a holiday.

From my very first contact Angie has put my mind at ease and her knowledge really made me feel comfortable. I travelled 2 hours to attend the grohair clinic and it was so worth it! The stress of loosing my hair has immediately reduced significantly because I now feel like I have all the information I need.

Firstly I would like to start this review by advising anyone who has concerns about shedding or hair loss to make an appointment with Angie. I was worried about hair shedding for quite a while and had visited a dermatologist which unfortunately did not help. After many months of anxiety I then made an appointment with Angie. She immediately made me feel at ease with her warm and friendly personality. She was very thorough and so knowledgeable about hair loss. During the appointment she investigated many things, carried out examinations and explained everything fully as she went. I am so relieved about her findings and possible solutions. She is compiling a full report and outlining recommendations for me, I have a follow up appointment with her in six months. It is the best thing I have done and wish I hadn’t waited so long.

I had my first appointment with Angie after noticing hair loss and being dismissed by my doctors. She was amazing and did a thorough examination and looked at my health history as well as my blood tests. She was able to diagnose quickly and with compassion and had a clear plan for me. I left with a full list of vitamins and supplements as well as a plan of action for treatment. She also sent me all the information in an email so I had it on file. I’m so glad I went to see her and I’m confident that with her care my hair will start to return.

I first visited Angie in the summer of 2023 as I have frontal alopecia and wanted advice from a professional. Understandably I was quite anxious about this visit but Angie put me at ease straight away with her friendly, welcoming approach. She was so knowledgeable and thorough in her examination of my condition. She gave me advice and suggestions for how to help and has kept in touch to check on my progress. She invited me back after 6 months and gave me another thorough examination and advice.

I made an apmt as a last resort following excessive hair shedding over a year ago with no improvement despite spending a fortune on hair products! I was dreading hearing the words ‘it’s just your age or the menopause’, and was so relieved when I walked out with a sigh of relief. Angie was brilliant, so easy to talk to and so knowledgeable and very professional. She took an in depth history and examined my hair and scalp and talked me through everything. She made suggestions and gave me advice and so much reassurance. The only thing I regret is not coming to see her sooner! Can’t wait to start treatment and get my hair back to normal. I know it’s not going to be fixed over night but at least I now feel confident that this is not forever and things will get better.

Angie is an exceptionally brilliant Trichologist and her ability to interpret Trichoscopy findings are world class, there are not enough stars to credit her abilities and professionalism. I would highly recommend her to anyone facing hair issues to come see her as she is very thorough and her attention to detail is second to none.

I attended the clinic on 24/3/23 for a consultation with Angie. She was very thorough with her questions & the examination of my hair/scalp. She was able to diagnose my condition on the day with guidance & advice to help with my issue. Angie was very professional as well as caring & sensitive to my needs. I saw Angie Stoker on 24th February and I found the consultation extremely thorough, reassuring and helpful and have been most impressed with all her follow up work since.
