very unhelpful and not accurate. I'm was on the phone with them for 45 minutes they claimed they could not find my account and when I was transferred to speak to a supervisor they hung up on me.

Had a very bad experience, ordering plants that I supossd to receive in 8 working days and now is over 20 days and still vague answers and no sign of my plants. absolutely disgraceful customer service with vague answers. So stressfull and wil never order agan

GROUPON was the worst experience that I ever had!!
I bought a bed frame recently and wasn't as described and the quality wasn't good enough for the money they sell.
Second bad experience with them was the return collection fir the item, had to call them everyday to arrange the collection with the carrier. They are not organized at all!!!
Very bad service, I would never buy anything from GROUPON again.

I purchased a Groupon for spa pedicure manicure for my wife on Valentine's Day we went to redeem the Groupon the employee does not work there I called Groupon to get a credit back so I can purchase another one well they wouldn't allow me the credit it's been 2 months now they keep telling me it's an escalations Department . I called them again 2 weeks ago and still in escalations department. The last 3 calls and everytime I call they say somebody will give me a call then 24 to 48 hours it's going on the 3rd month now same story and I want a refund that's going to be like pulling teeth out for $40 purchase worst customer service ever!!!! never had to deal with so many incompetent people. I will never use a Groupon again!!! By the end of April it'll be four months that I've had to wait to get a credit / refund for a $40 purchase

Received Used Item

I ordered a Griffin sports armband for iPhone, it arrived quickly but had been opened and hastily thrown back together, disappointed as I was expecting a new item.
The quality of the case and armband itself is a bit flimsy, remains to be seen if it will withstand my outdoor running.
I have not had any contact with customer care the low score is purely for the quality of goods received, or lack thereof.

Good experience - surprised at so many bad reviews

I had a very positive experience with Groupon's customer service. I ordered a coat for Christmas but it didn't arrive on time (bad... I know). I had given three weeks for a delivery that said it would take eight days. Anyway, I rang Groupon about it after Christmas when I got a chance and I was issued with a full refund. Two days later I got the coat. I was told to keep the refund and the coat! I was very annoyed when the coat didn't arrive (as it was a gift) but was pleasantly surprised by how quick my call was answered, and how swiftly I received the refund.

Worst customer service ever

I bought a Galaxy bed for my daughter a month ago. It was shipped fine, within 8-10. BUT half of parts were missing. I rang to customer service where they promised to pass my complaint to the supplier who should come back to me in max 10 days. I've followed up with Groupon in 4 days, they said that I need to wait few more days till supplier will get in contact with me so they could ship missing parts. I rang them once again in another few days and got exactly the same answer, but nobody would know the progress of the issue.
It's 15th day today since I've contacted them for the first time. I rang them again. The rep informed me that suppliers never ship missing parts and I need to exchange the bed. Collection, inspection, reshipment would take about a month (!!!!) HELLO?! I was waiting for 2 weeks to hear that? I've asked to speak to manager and rep told that she is in meeting. I've asked for her phone number or email address and was told that she doesn't have a such and I should get to her through the general customer service email. I've asked for her name at least. Surprise - surprise, it's against Company's Policy to disclose second names of employees!!! All I know about the manager is that her name Sam and I can email her to central customer service address! It's a joke! I cancelled the order and asked for refund. Now, after reading all these reviews, I doubt if it was a good idea and whether I get a refund at all.
So disappointed... That's the worst customer service I've ever seen. they offered me €30 compensation "to make me happy". The full bed would make me happy, not your miserable compensation.

Never Again

Groupon advertised a set of pots and pans for $99.99, but when clicking on the ad, Groupon is then charging $104.99. This is called false advertising! Groupon's response: "This deal has been really popular and because we don't have many Groupons left for it, the price is higher for the remaining ones." Needless to say, I did not buy the pans. I will never purchase anything from Groupon again!

DO NOT USE GROUPON!

I bought a vacuum from them by Deawoo, paid about €70 for it after only 9 months it has stopped working contacted Daewoo was told I have to go through GROUPON, who then told me they can't help me as n I can only return within 14 days! I didn't ask for a return my item is faulty. But apparently there is warranty on Groupon products! And there customer service is a disgrace!

False advertising and worst customer service I ever experienced

Please do not buy any holidays through this company. I bought deal to Iceland and called company to make booking. I was given email address to send my vouchers which I did. No reply for days. So I called company again and I was given another email address to send my vouchers which I did.
After couple of days I finally got a call form company but dates that would suit me weren't available, moreover the hotel included in the deal was booked out and I was told I needed pay extra for hotel upgrade.
At that stage I was very upset because that wasn't mentioned in this deal. I asked for a refund.
It's been over three weeks and now I was told by customer service that I'm not getting my money back because my vouchers have now expired. It's over 700 Euros and I have complained to Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and I opened a case in small claim court. I'm still hoping that entering legal route will help me to get my money back but the amount of stress that I experienced is beyond words.
Please save your self sleepless nights never use this company.
They falsely advertise their deals, steal your money without noting in return.

Do not go on a groupon getaway ****warning****

This was the worst purchase I ever got in my life. I bought a groupon getaway and they have all these lovely places that you could be going too and they got Scotland. I got it for my parents that are from galway. They have to go from Dublin and the flight is a Saturday night flight and they then have to get there own transport to the hotel. Its a two night stay and they fly out on the Monday morning so they only have Sunday to spend there. 238 euro for pure sh*t. Never again. Just want to warn people before they buy.

Not giving accurate savings

I just bought a silentnight memory foam matress topper with two ultrabounce pillows for my daughter's single bed. They deal was €45.99 and they stated that the original price was €180. I made the purchase and then decided to go online and checkout the prices in stores. The most expensive price I found for the slientnight impress 2.5cm memory foam matress topper for a single bed was €64 in Littlewoods. A pair of silent night ultrabounce pillows came in at €20. So thats a maximum total of €84. Yes, I did make a saving but still thus company are either falsely exaggerating the original prices or were vastly overcharging for the product before offering sale vouchers.

Now I have also ordered a watch for my teenage son which has not yet arrived. It is an August Steiner watch which they say is normally €326 and the deal was for €46.99. Before I bought this I checked out the August Steiner website and this was was on there priced at US$445 so I thought Wow, thats a good deal. Then I checked out shops on this side of the Atlantic and prices ranged from €80 - €120. I'm still saving money but again you have to question the validity of the savings quoted on the groupon site.

I'm beginning to wonder are these products "knock offs" or seconds. By the way the matress topper is supposed to contain a topper and cover but mine has no cover in it. The silentnight packaging (not groupon packaging) clearly states that inside are a matress topper and cover. Well there's no cover in mine.

Will definitely research products before buying from groupon again.

.IE Getting Boring

I joined Groupon.ie about 3 months ago.
I loved it at the begining but then offers or similar ones seemed to be repeated contanstanly . I am now fed up waiting for more good Hotel ones, or restaurant ones.

The UK site seems to have better deals.
