Gwenyn Gruffydd is a family-run honey farm and professional beekeeping supplies business based in rural West Wales, proudly known as the home of quality beekeeping supplies. Our name means “Gruffydd’s Bees” in Welsh, reflecting our heritage and our hands-on, practical approach to beekeeping.
We are the exclusive UK distributor for API Feeds by Südzucker, supplying trusted honeybee fondant and syrup to beekeepers across the UK. We are also the exclusive distributor for InstantVap varroa vaporisers and ANEL Langstroth beehives, alongside a comprehensive range of professional beekeeping equipment, including hives, frames, foundation, protective clothing, hive tools, feeders, and honey extracting equipment. Our beekeeping supplies are carefully selected, field-tested, and used in our own apiaries.
We actively support beekeepers at every stage, from complete beginners to experienced operators. We offer beginner beekeeping training, practical advice, and the sale of nucleus colonies (nucs) to help customers establish strong, healthy colonies with confidence.
Alongside our beekeeping supplies, we produce high-quality Welsh honey from our own apiaries, including award-winning Welsh wildflower honey, as well as handmade beeswax candles, balms, creams, and gift sets.
Our on-farm shop is open weekdays from 9:00am to 4:30pm, providing in-person access to expert advice and quality equipment in a working beekeeping environment.

I placed an order on Friday afternoon for 2 supers, 2 brood boxes 50 national and 50 super frames. By 3pm Saturday I was building what I’d brought. Absolutely 1st class service. Brilliant and I’d highly recommend them.

Impressed with product prices and selection in their local shop, however the slim lady with dark hair, always wearing sports clothes is most unfriendly and unwelcoming. And it's not the first time we've experienced this with this same member of staff. Three times previously, as well as the visit mentioned (which is an estimate, as can't recall specific date). She clearly does not enjoy her job or dealing with customers. This has soured our experience each time, so much so that we're not going to visit anymore and will shop on Amazon/ebay again

Fast shipping. Pleased with my purchases. Gloves look good. The hessian sacks are amazing. I’m going to be sorry to cut them up! They’re so pretty and colourful that I may use them for frost protection instead. I will definitely buy from here again.

The product itself is not bad, delivery within the UK takes more than two weeks. Several times I ordered honey, honey combs, candles, and each time after 2 weeks I had to write an email to clarify when I will receive my order. And each time there was the same excuse that they are very busy at the moment because they are holding events. So, the product is not bad (although not the most delicious honey you can find), the attitude towards customers is not satisfactory.

I have used Gwenyn Gruffydd on a number of occasions now and every time they have been Exceptional. Really well priced, absolutely superb communication and very fast shipping. All from a family run business. Oh, and the wildflower honey is literally amazing.
