I was living in the Suffolk area and needed to move house. I found many deals online, but they all quoted £1000. I found you, GW Moving Company, for a reasonable price and I was very pleased. I moved to London and they were very fast. Thank you, I will use you again for my future moves.

George Wade put a quote together for my removal, which i sent over a full video of my place as well as inventory list. When the men arrived, they started putting things in van and then decided to let me know it wouldn't all fit, meaning priority items were left behind. When I messaged George on the day about this, he said "Yeah but can’t make the.Van bigger can i" when I told him I had sent over a full video and inventory. When I queried this further, he said "Can’t be more than a medium van load I get u a price" meaning he had quoted us incorrectly and for a van too small (no offering of alternative van sizes were given) as well as the solution - "I have someone that can come at 1pm £150 or just ask my guys if they can come back for £150". Brilliant.
The guys doing the actual move were good, quick and respectful but one of them didn't speak English (or very limited) which caused confusion. In the end, we had to do 2 full trips of a rented van and car in order to move the rest of our stuff. It went from them going from the cheapest removal to one of the most expensive.

In summary - buy cheap, buy twice

I cannot recommend this removal service. While George initially seemed helpful and professional, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare.

Excellent job!
Complicated removal from 2 bed place to a big maisonette, with a staircase, both to the appartment, which is second floor and the stairs in the apartment.
Very good and clear communication with George from the start. Arktar and his brother Mao did a fantastic job!
A lot of heavy and intricate furniture, dismantling and assembling two king beds, lots of boxes; had to go back twice as not everything fitted and no problem. Very polite, arrived a bit earlier, put at ease, very very respectful, mindful of the new carpet and were taking shoes off in bedrooms (we put roll and stroll the main walk ways and stairways).
9 hour long job and all with professionalism and positivity.
Very happy and would happily recommend.
