What a pleasure to meet Callum today. So much passion for well being and bringing an amazing sauna experience to you on St Ninians beach in Shetland. We have been to many beach saunas around GB and this one is truly special. Great welcome from the host, frequent check in to check in on our safety and pristine. A stones throw from the sea and toasty warm. Also appreciate the use of felt hats which are not always available in the saunas we have visited. Simple clean and as close to nature as you can get. A great set up ! Thank you.

Excellent sauna, so clean and with spectacular views.
The lady manning it was also extremely kind, helpful and attentive.
The whole experience was just fabulous.
I would highly recommend.

I love the Haar Sauna! I've regularly visited during my 5-month stint of living up here over winter. Highly recommended when visiting Shetland. Their Lerwick sauna is well located and it's convenient not being right on the beach, as not everything gets covered in sand. Plunge pools are great for cooling off. The St Ninians sauna is just in a stunning location and nice for a sea dip!

An early morning wake up in the Haar sauna in Lerwick- fabulous views out to sea and wonderful conversation with fellow early risers!

The sauna is great but I found customer service extremely poor. Emails and telephone answer machine messages not responded to.

First visit to the Lerwick Haar Sauna prompted by a gift voucher I received at Xmas. We were very well looked after and it was a very relaxing experience. Hopefully be able to make a return visit in the future.

The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful at both the Lerwick and St. Ninian locations, it's a great value, and booking online was easy. I suggest adding some basic private change station of some sort for getting out of a swimsuit after, but other than that, this was a lovely treat while on holiday. Highly recommend!

As a regular haar sauna goer this evening ABBA singing session didn’t disappoint! A mix of locals and visitors- in Shetland to enjoy Up Helly Aa - we culminated the session with a rendition of the Up Helly Aa song 🎶

What a setting for a sauna. Location at St Ninian’s Isle was fantastic. The whole sauna experience was brilliant and the team were fab. Would go regularly if we lived locally.

I’m a regular Haar Sauna goer (half riggit crew 😎). Today was a brilliant sauna and snow experience. After new year I was ready to get out and do something. What better way to spend a morning than relaxing in the heat, rolling about in the snow and laughing with friends. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the saunas are excellent and the locations are beautiful.

Beautiful location, friendly crew, a lot of parking space available and hot sauna.

Loved the sauna at the Brae marina, flat calm sea and a pink sunset to look out to just topped it off.

We attended an aromatherapy session at Bridge End. This was a wholesome, relaxing and fun experience from start to finish. Our host Callum was attentive and explained the ritual as we went along. We enjoyed a couple of dips in the Atlantic and the cold bath as well as the wonderfully scented warm sauna in a lovely cabin. We finished with a peat scrub. The company was great too and the sun obligingly set giving a pink and orange sky back-drop. It was simply wonderful.
This was very good value for money and my skin feels soft this morning following the best nights sleep I’ve had for ages.

Absolutely loved our session with Haar Sauna at Bridge End Outdoor Centre Marina. Perfect scenic location, easy access to the sea and wonderful service. Thank you to the Haar Sauna team for a wonderful experience. We hope you make this a regular service in this location.

We went to an Aufguss Ritual on St Ninian’s beach which was the perfect setting. We both enjoy being guided through a sauna session and Callum was great - very attentive to the different needs of participants. The ritual aspect was very well done and a lovely experience. Extra special to be able to go into the sea here in between the different sauna experiences. A lovely group of people as well 🙂
