scammers supporting scams and removing negative reviews
The forum is full of scam artists and moderators that delete negative messages for their buddies that sell BS methods that don't work. If you comment anything negative on a thread it's considered 'thread or sales bashing' and your post gets deleted. The forum mostly uses crypto so good luck getting your money back.
While I genuinely thought this site was going to be a cool place to hang out, I have noticed that the staff just hands out warnings like they have nothing better to do with their time. Imagine you spend your money to "upgrade" trying to support and be part of their community, just to have staff slap you with a warning for "not using a capital letter and punctuation at the end of your sentence". I would say half the users on the forum dont use capital letters and punctuation at the end of the sentence, but you go out your way to target me because im fairly new? Great way to push users away from the site. If I was a troll, or a trouble maker, then ok. But im not, and all my comments have been positive and on topic. Like I said, I upgraded thinking I would support what they have going on and try and be part of the community and in return they slap me with a warning for something that half the other users are doing too.
Should probably tell your staff to stop trying to bully new users with their warnings. If someone is going out their way to be a d!ck or spam or cause trouble or even break the rules, then by all means give them a warning. But to go out your way and give someone a warning for something that petty shortly after they upgraded seems pretty backwards. That type of behavior just pushes people to not want to use the site. Warning shouldn't be given just because you have the ability to give them and that is obviously what they are doing. Why didn't that same staff give all the other users in the same topic a warning for the same thing?
Not what I was expecting. I really would of never upgraded if I knew I would be singled out like this. Anyone can go on the site and see half the users dont use capital letters in beginning of sentence and punctuation at the end

I have been getting bullied constantly and this idiot Admin Omni is not doing anything. I'm a Group Owner on this site, which had cost a lot but he has ignored the issue. It even went as far as me getting doxed and my pictures getting posted on this site. Fix this shit immediately!

This site closed one of its top if not best member on the forum for petty reasons. This member was a great addition to the community and was extremely smart, maybe even the smartest member alive.

Once a great source for learning about technology the forum is now just an echo chamber for far right lunatics. Anyone who goes against Omni in Political discussions is banned soon after. Omni doesn’t even know what he thinks, he uses mostly AI responses and that means it’s the truth. It’s also riddle with scammers and long standing users are banned for scamming even though they never had a contract with the person accusing them.
All the money making guides are scam and most of the services are too, but vendors make Omni money so they are allowed to stay available for purchase even with hundreds of bad reviews.
Edit: you banned me when I didn’t even have a contract opened your own rules say this shouldn’t have happened. The review is legitimate HackForums hasn’t been a good forum for at least 5 years now.

The admin is a crybaby who will ban you when you upgrade your account, the scams are also high and the admin is biased and do not bother to check the scam. This makes the forum anything short of a total waste of time. Save your time and money, and look for other places. This places will give you nothing short of being scammed and your time wasted. The forum is filled with with money making ebooks that are all scams. Many of these ebooks promise making even $1000/day (a clear scam yet the admin does nothing) and they deliver nothing of value. Instead of taking action against these sellers, the admin turns a blind eye because he’s profiting from their advertisement. It’s clear that the owner's priority is his wallet, not the integrity of the forum or its members

I would advice against the site. The owner is a twerp who will ban you if you disagree with him while he is on his period. Regarding the site itself, it offers nothing of quality. If you are there for ebooks, then you will buy public ebooks. If you are there for hacking, it is widely known that, despite the name, the site is mostly full of skids. If you are there for the community, the community is run by an imbecile. I have been on the site for almost 7 years and throughout the years have never seen anything of quality. If you want to buy hacking tools you can check out xss. If you are there to buy money making ebooks - you will most likely get scammed and not make any money. The owner will not stop money making method because they are giving him advertising money even though these methods are absolute garbage. If you are there for the community, there are honestly better places to be. The owner will ban you after you have contributed to the forum disregarding the time you spent because it is "his forum" - he doesn't care. He will scam you out of your time. He will scam you out of money - through the account upgrades that you bought. He doesn't care he thinks his hormonal changes justifies that. If you'd like a similar place, check out Nulled, BreachForums or reddit.
Edit: The owner replied saying I am someone named "Caboose" on his site. Not only is he wrong, but also he went ahead and closed Caboose's account thinking that it is me. If this shows anything, it shows that the owner is willing to close YOUR account because of HIS retardation. I am not Caboose but him posting troll comments and telling others to kill themselves only goes to show the quality of users on the site. Are these people you want to deal with? Do you think these people would provide anything of quality? Those who provided quality had moved to other platforms because of the owner's intelligence (or lack thereof)

Edit: yes i did what you said few years ago but i decided to repost my old experience so people dont get scammed. I was banned from website without any explanation after giving out bad review to seller and didnt use any bad words. Which makes me believe admins are part of it
Edit2: I saw lot of positive +rep but giving negative -rep and i am his buyer is considered “sales trashing” only positive feedback is allowed?

Hack Forums has unfairly received a bad wrap in the public sphere, because in reality, it's an incredibly useful tool for acquiring a number of different resources to learn about the internet, and it also hosts a great, nurturing community filled with members who actually are solid people and want to help assist you in your internet exploration endeavors.
I first found HF around 8 years ago, and within the first month of my joining the site, another member went into a deep dive teaching me about OpSec and how to stay safe on the internet. Get that, a site called Hack Forums had an anonymous member within weeks of my joining take time out of his days to engage with me thoughtfully, and teach me the ropes on how to explore the internet and the forum safely, share do's and don'ts, and generally just be a great guy, all because this member noticed based on my activity that I was inexperienced and could benefit from guidance.
People complain about bad actors on the forum, and to that I'd say there are bad apples in any group or community, and those few, the minority, will paint the whole picture and create a misleading perception. That is exactly the case with Hack Forums. The overall majority of the community are young and knowledgeable members who have an array of knowledge covering an expansive set of topics. Like anywhere in the world, and no matter the environment, one must navigate carefully and thoughtfully through life and one's experience. Hack Forums is not dissimilar in that way to any other community, website, city, group of people, that one would need to navigate through. If you do so thoughtfully, you will have absolutely no problem participating on the website.
I've learned a lot on the forum, made friends, and have even made some money engaging in side hustles along the way.
Despite the Hack Forums name, the site has much more to offer beyond what is generally considered very base level details of "hacking", that can theoretically be found anywhere on the internet.
I give HF a 5 Stars for what it's offered me through the years.
This site allows it's users to pay to scam people.
Users can pay to unlock the ability to put external quick buy links to their "products/E-books".
Scammers simply put extra discounts on these external quick buy links so people don't use the slow and archaic contract system on the website.
Then if you try to warn the other users on the seller's thread where they blatantly advertise the garbage product/E-book/Scam's quick buy external link, they delete your message because you didn't use a contract.
As if these external quickbuy links aren't posted on the forum right there in the same post you're trying to warn people about.
They should take responsibility for these external links especially considering it's a paid feature.
Overall illogical system that allows for rampant scammers.
Fix your trash HF.
EDIT:
You shouldn't delete legit reviews just because they aren't linked to a contract. If you bought the product/method/E-books that should be enough to submit a review/post on the seller's thread. It's so easy to prove I bought something a user is actively selling.
And yes, Disallow external quick buy links with giant flashy images and >>CLICK HERE TO BUY WITH #% OFF<< if you don't want to take responsibility for them.
EDIT2: Great News! Please keep me posted so that I can revise my review once the changes are in effect!

The site owner has serious anger problems, and can't have a reasonable conversation without resorting to insults or offensive language, as you can see from his replies here. Obviously, this is his site we're talking about, but it's not his community nor is it his sphere of specialist knowledge, as the site has been mostly built and improved by other people with real knowledge and skill, then run into the ground by the irrational and emotional responses of an aging person who has never truly fit in. It's sad, as even know he's talking about giving awards to people who give good reviews of his site, and now doing a pitifully low giveaway despite having taken so much form the community. HF is long, long past it's best days, and there's a good reason why posts there are mostly empty, nonsensical or just fluff piece content. Omni, you're a sad little man, and you will no doubt write some drivel in response, but all you ever had to do was little to the community and none of this would have happened. You did it to yourself because you have no self control, sad, so sad.
Never buy anything here
all sellers are scammers and when you contact the owner of forum he just banned you because it hurts his feelings
AVOID THIS SCAMMERS

Excellent resource for any developers, designers, gamers, coders, programmers and marketers. I myself am a 13-year member. Have served as a member of the forum team and explored every potential opportunity it has had to offer. I made a lot of money and a lot of friends, and more so, knowledge.
Hackforums.net is a highly resourceful and vibrant online community. It offers a wealth of knowledge on various tech-related topics, including cybersecurity, programming, and digital marketing. The forum is well-moderated, ensuring a safe and constructive environment for discussions. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, Hackforums.net is a fantastic platform for learning, networking, and staying updated with the latest tech trends. Highly recommended!
Will be coming up to 15 years on HackForums this year (Registered November 2009). What an awesome community, has taught me a lot, I've met a lot of great members. Thanks for Admining this forum for so long, Omniscient.
I do not want to disclose myself but I was closed a long time ago for making a bad suggestion, making bad opinions leads to bans. The owner is also go to is basically "You can just log out" "You don't have to be here" yet he wonders why it's rapidly declining.
I'm a multi yes site is full of them it can happen but I'm not comfortable enough to disclose that I'm a multi because I already know if I expose myself I'll get banned instantly.
I only go on the forum to buy and sell things of course people saying this site is a scam are people who have half a brain cell and doesn't know how to deal with people on this site.
But the owner really needs to take a step back and be open to people's opinions and not get in his feelings, he needs to learn how to dish and receive criticism properly, if he has a bad day he doesn't care he'll cause more damage to his own forum and I'm not speaking for myself people are too afraid to speak their minds on the site, You know why? Because they are afraid of getting banned they are too busy sucking off the owner to not give him legitimate criticism. Also forums is also being ran to the ground because of how trashy groups are lately groups can play a massive role in the community as I don't really see any crazy group engagement like before I remember Dawn was a really amazing group hacker craft really was amazing as well those days I enjoyed but it's behind us I just wish things could be great again.
I would like to also mention his current/previous staff agree on this as well I can promise you that, but might be too afraid to get banned or are already banned or gone.
Listen man not everyone hates the forum they hate you because you give them a reason to, there are people out there that can't be on it anymore you hate them, and I'm not talking about scammers screw them, I'm talking about you hate their opinion so bad >Not a matter of being told what to do< but just saying a bad idea or something that's not for your political views, side note suggestion you should stay out of, Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics lmao.

TERRIBLE WEBSITE
I recently had the misfortune of stumbling upon this so-called "hacking website" promising easy and foolproof ways to make quick money. What a joke! Not only is the site riddled with technical issues, but their claims are utterly fraudulent.
First off, the website's interface looks like it was designed by an amateur in the early 2000s. It’s clunky, slow, and frequently crashes. Navigation is a nightmare, and finding any useful information is like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Secondly, the so-called "hacking tools" they provide are completely useless. They boast about advanced algorithms and sophisticated software, but in reality, these tools do absolutely nothing. After following their convoluted instructions, I ended up with nothing but wasted time and frustration.
Their customer support is another disaster. I reached out multiple times for assistance, but received either generic, unhelpful responses or no response at all. It’s clear they have no intention of providing any real support once they’ve taken your money.
Speaking of money, the fees they charge are outrageous! They lure you in with promises of quick returns, but all you get is an empty wallet and a sense of regret. It’s nothing but a blatant money-grabbing scheme preying on desperate individuals.
Lastly, the site's security is non-existent. I noticed suspicious activity on my accounts shortly after signing up, and I’m convinced this site is behind it. They are nothing but a group of scammers trying to scam other scammers.
Stay far, far away from this site. It’s a complete rip-off and a waste of time and money. Don’t fall for their deceitful tactics. You’ve been warned!
