Original issue resolved - a mark of a good company
The delivery comes via DPD. I ordered 10 bags of salt bricks and all the bags contained broken bricks. Its the second time it happens in succession - first time it happened I thought this was just bad luck, but this now seems a consistent problem.
Its messy and a hassle to insert broken bits of bricks of salt into the Kinetico softeners. I have a salt bricks based softener so I dont have the mess and hassle of salt bits .
Is it Hallite or DPD rough handling that cause the breakages ?
Will have to go back to buying from suppliers who deliver with their own vans who are much more caring and from from whom I never got broken salt bricks before.
UPDATE: Halite's MD reached out to me - a big plus for Halite - explained that he will take the rough handling issue up with their courier DPD and sent me a replacement shipment. All salt bricks were good and intact this time. Glad the company follows up issues and is keen to rectify them

Unacceptable delivery
On both occasions before I stopped using this company , the delivery guy refused to bring the 5 x 25 kg bags beyond my front step and not 10 metres along to the storage area. Despite the Company saying they would not happen again, it did ,and I just received a pathetic unhelpful response when I complained .
Don't use them unless you're under 50 and prefer lifting 25 kg bags rather than go to a gym!

We completely understand how frustrating it must be when heavy 25kg bags are not delivered to a reasonable location on your property — especially after you were previously assured it wouldn’t happen again. That’s not the standard of service we expect from our delivery partners.
Whilst we do rely on third-party couriers, we take complaints like this seriously and escalate them directly with the depot involved. We also note delivery instructions on consignments wherever possible to try and prevent repeat issues.
We’re also sorry if our previous response felt unhelpful — that certainly isn’t how we want customers to feel after contacting us.
Please contact us with your order number and delivery postcode so we can investigate this properly and ensure your concerns are formally addressed.

Great to deal with and always have good prices. With promptly delivery unlike another block salt company. The only draw back is the weight of the boxes with the six boxes in.

Great salt block
Delivery was great, well packaged boxes. Only opened one box and didn’t found any damages. It’s super smooth and better than the branded version. Too early stage to comment more.

Very Competitively Priced Salt
