The workshop was absolutely fantastic and a unique experience and the shoes were surpisingly cosy. I am very happy and will warmly recommend purchasing anything with this brand.

Laura at handmade design has the most loveliest shop with lots of local handmade gifts at all budgets.

I absolutely love this shop
I absolutely love this shop! Throughout several lockdowns (and the restricted times in between) Laura has been busy doing Instagram Lives to showcase the range of goods on offer and I’ve found just the right card, gift or Christmas item many times during 2020. The goods are always beautifully packaged and despatched promptly. Can’t wait to visit the shop in person once restrictions are lifted. In the meantime, shopping by mail for cards or gifts this will continue to be my Go To store.

Laura has gone above and beyond what I would have expected , to make sure that I found the items I was looking for and then ensuring that they were dispatched quickly and well packed so that they arrived safely . Her communication was excellent and I was kept up to speed as to the status of my order . The range of goods available are of high quality and make excellent gifts for the discerning buyer. Fantastic quality, customer service and brand ethics
I ordered a Christmas present from Handmade designs and the team were quick to respond to a query I had. The gift arrived within a few days and was beautifully packaged. The hand written notes added a personal touch that not many other companies have.
I also appreciate how the brand supports local designers and crafters.
I will be ordering from here again!

Amazing Gifts
I ordered a couple of Christmas gifts from the website. They arrived quickly and well packaged. I will definitely be ordering again soon and making a trip to the shop in the new year!

Great shop, fantastic service
Great shop! I've ordered online a couple of times and been in person too. The service is excellent, with parcels being dispatched quickly and well packaged so they arrive safely. The range of goods stocked is excellent and I recommenda visit to them!

Great service items arrived promptly…
Great service items arrived promptly well packaged as one of the items made of glass. Second item wrapped in tissue paper ready to give as gift. Not local to the area but visited the shop last year and remembered it was stocked with lovely things.
