HAPPYNEON Avis 24

We ordered 2 signs from this company and although they were shipped at the same time by DHL, they arrived on two different days. One of the signs arrived great, except the acrylic cover we ordered for it was cracked and we paid $80 for the cover. The second sign, which arrived the next day, was broken in many places and does not light. The company policy on their website is as follows: "in the very unlikely case of your piece arriving broken or faulty, you have 7 days from the day of tracked delivery to let us know via email and we will deliver a replacement free of charge." I emailed the same day we received the sign, with pictures of the damaged package and broken sign, and Charlotte stated that they would send us new tubes to replace the broken ones. I emailed her back to state that I should not have to be the one to figure out how to repair the sign when their website clearly states they will replace the sign. Since then, Charlotte will not return any email and there is no customer service number to call for assistance. We are now out over $400 for the cost of the sign. I highly recommend you do not order from this company. You will only get a sign if everything goes okay, otherwise the company abdicates all responsibility.

Have to comment because I ordered from the uk,paid..then read reviews on here and panicked but sign arrived today in excellent packaging,works and is qctually nicer than the photos.
Ordered 24 November.. arrived 11 December.

The website says it takes 3-5 business days for shipping. I ordered a sign for my sons 21st Birthday present - he lives some way away. I ordered nearly a month before the due date. As I didnt hear anything I chased. I was told they didnt think it was time sensitive as I asked for standard delivery. I pointed out the time scales and the importance.

Chased again to be told they would let the producers know. Told two days before the birthday "its a complicated build", so I should look to get an additional present. My son is now not going to have a 21st birthday present from me. Even if I order today it wont arrive in time.

They are very apologetic but say I have two days to get another gift. Order cancelled and refund on its way back.

They answer emails quickly and cancelled without quibble which is good. Shipping times on the website are unrealistic. Very unhappy.

Avoid. Scam. Placed an order for a sign before Christmas. Despite published timelines of 5-7 days, sign still not received at the end of January. When shipping information was eventually sent, the DHL tracking number related to an entirely different delivery which was being sent somewhere else altogether -- it was nothing to do with my order. (The shipping e-mail was an automatic notification sent via Shopify, there was no personal contact with the company or its employees.) No responses to e-mails sent. Obviously, I've also not received the sign! Incidentally, the company is based in Hong Kong despite the '.uk' domain name, which would be fine if they did what they say they will. Based on all of the above, I can only assume the whole thing's a scam. I have since found very poor reviews for 'happyneon.de' which I guess is a related operation.

UPDATE: Three months after placing the order, "Charlotte" finally got in touch yesterday to tell me that it was my fault I had not received the sign (apparently I changed the delivery address so the sign would be delivered to a random person in another part of the country) and that there was nothing she or the company could do. Processing a refund was also impossible as the company had already spent a lot of money on manufacturing and transport. Infuriating!

FURTHER UPDATE, 2025: Hysterical to have only received a constructive response to this complaint four years later! For those wondering, I never got the sign. Happily, Monzo’s purchase protection processes did mean that I got my money back.
