I dont even want to give them 1 star. Complete scam. I ordered a pair of boots and recieved a different one , low quality. Im offered given 20% refund (out of goodwill!!!!) or I have to do an international return out of my pocket. Ridiculous, when they send me wrong item. COMPLETE SCAM. Please keep out cheap quality. Comes from China and goes back to China.

This company is not transparent. On their site it says they allow returns no details. Then when you want to return something, they tell you you have to ship it back to China and it will cost you $50 to do so and they will give a small percentage of the purchase price instead.

I ordered a dress that was supposed to arrive in about 6–8 days. After 8 days and no dress, I checked the tracking and discovered that it had just left China. The website had given me the impression that I was dealing with an American company and provided a U.S. address.

The dress was for a wedding and would not arrive in time, so I immediately contacted Harold Shaw to request a cancellation.

I was basically given the same options I had encountered with another dress company: If/when the dress arrived, accept a 15% refund and keep the dress; pay approximately $40–$50 to ship the dress back to China when it arrived for a full refund; or choose another item of similar or lesser value.

After much persistence, they increased the offer to 30%, and ultimately to 40%—but still would not provide a prepaid return label.

I found the website misleading because it presented a U.S. warehouse address in Charlotte, North Carolina, while my return would have required me to ship the dress to China. I had no reason to expect that returning a dress would require expensive international shipping. I also didn't trust that the dress would arrive in time for the wedding it was for.

What made this experience particularly striking was that it was almost identical to my experience with Theodore Townsend, including the same type of return options and even the same first name—Anna—for the customer-service representative handling the correspondence.

I ultimately disputed the charge with my credit-card company and received a full refund.

I would never order from Harold Shaw again.

Horrible company. Shoes took forever to arrive, and the quality was god awful. Customer service was then awful afterwards, and they did not issue any refunds/returns. Avoid at all cost!

Stay away from this company they are thieves. I ordered a maxi dress, not only did the dress only come to my knees but The print on the dress was completely different other than the color. They expect me to ship back a misrepresented product and pay the shipping that cost more than the dress.

Horrible. Claim to be a London based shoe maker but manufacture and ship terrible quality shoes from China. Their site also claims they want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase, but when you inevitably aren’t, you have to pay over $50 to send them back to China. Assuming they actually arrive and aren’t lost in transit, they then take 20 days to give you your refund. Avoid this scam at all costs.

Cheap junk. Do not buy. Complete scam.

Company is a scam. China shipped shoes, sizing was totally off, shoes are not the same as the image. Don’t fall for the 50%, that is a permanent price. The reviews on their site aren’t real, you can’t leave a review anywhere. Return option is to send back to China for $60 for a $70 pair of shoes. But don’t worry they will offer to let you keep them when they don’t fit, and are completely falsely advertised for a 10% credit. Avoid this brand - total frauds.

No stars is more appropriate. Shoes were way too small on my husband. They do not disclose on their website thr complete return policies. Do not buy from this company

Ordered shoes in size 11.5. Shoes arrived in bubble package - no box- 2 weeks later. Shoes were a EURO size 45 -Not the 11.5 ordered. Tried to return but they said I had to mail it to China at my expense (over $50). They offered a 15% discount if I kept the shoes - I can't wear them so no. Tried 8 times with a rep who kept saying the same thing. No refund unless shipped back to China. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM

One star is too many. Do not purchase from this company. Goods were never received. The shoes were shipped from China by SDH. USPS picked up the last part of the journey once the shoes cleared customs. I've asked "customer service" four times for the USPS tracking number which they won't provide.
