Got screened out by a "technical"…
Got screened out by a "technical" interview where I was asked to write Python code about statistics, when the provided job description didn't mention anything about it at all. Recruiter used codility and didn't have any understanding of what the actual job description called for. Absolutely unprofessional to ask someone to spend an hour and a half on a coding problem and then rely purely on a screening platform to tell you the results, especially when the recruiter themselves don't even understand it.

For the role in question, our client required all shortlisted candidates to complete a technical assessment as part of their selection process. Python was a relevant requirement for the position, and while you performed strongly in two areas of the assessment, one section focused on Python linear regression, which was more specialised and challenging than the job description may have suggested.
We understand your frustration, particularly if the depth of assessment differed from your expectations. While we facilitate the recruitment process, the content and evaluation criteria of client assessments are determined by the hiring organisation and are applied consistently to all candidates.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the alignment between job descriptions and technical assessments, and we will continue to share candidate feedback with our clients to help improve the recruitment experience wherever possible.

Lied in the contract. Failed to pay salary on time. Abusing the trust placed in them, which will lead to leaving asap. Avoid. There are plenty of better companies out there.

Excellent support across several recruitment processes
Over the past year, I have worked with Harvey Nash on several opportunities, mainly through Rick and have had a very positive experience.

I had a really positive experience…
I had a really positive experience working with Dean throughout my recent job search. From the outset, he was responsive, professional, and clearly took the time to understand my experience, preferences, and what I was looking for in my next role.
What stood out most was his communication – I was kept informed at every stage, and nothing ever felt unclear or rushed. Dean was also very supportive and honest, offering helpful insight into the role and organisation, which made a big difference in helping me make informed decisions.
Although I ultimately chose to accept another opportunity, my experience with Dean was excellent throughout. He is clearly committed to delivering a high standard of service and genuinely supporting candidates, which is not always easy to find.

Two consultants took the time to set up a call with me to brief me ahead of my interview. The preparation was very useful and the consultants had clearly done a lot of hard work to think about what might come up in the interview. I was taken through the list of questions as a practice run and sent the list after the call. The prep was tailored and very relevant, the time they spent was a great benefit to me.

Have nothing but good things to say, from the initial contact via linkedin from the incredible Frazer, which unfortunately wasn't the right role fit, to a second call from Frazer when he had found a role that matches my skillset and availability, the whole experience has been professional and refreshing. Boarding was seamless and Frazer has been available at all times to answer any questions, including replying to me on his day off when I needed some info regarding payroll. Heartily recommended would give 6stars if I could.

Professional support from start to finish
I had an excellent experience working with Harvey Nash, and in particular with Alex, who supported me throughout the hiring process from start to finish. Alex was a pleasure to deal with and helped me secure an excellent role that I genuinely wouldn’t have come across otherwise.
