When my daughter started therapy, she was very anxious. She will talk about so many things at the same time, and out of nowhere, she will start to feel a panic attack. Three months later, I can assure you that we can see a big difference at home. She learned how to cope and how to express her emotions in a calm way. She can handle her panic attacks before she even starts having one. We are very happy with the care she received from Hazel Health. And her therapist was amazing.

I like he met with him consistently but no behavior was changed and no new skill was learned. No recommendation sent

I didn't know how badly my daughter needed a 3rd party's help because of the Evergreen shooting and just being a freshman and a person. This was such a good step for her to experience in a known time of need and to learn that she has the tools to handle future times of need and day to day.

They assured me everything was gonna be OK that I was able to trust them so I did I look for the help. I trusted them. I opened up for them to quit on me on day one I put myself out there and got disappointed. They do not put children like me first. Instead of the acting like they wanted to help it just showed me that they’re just doing this for a paycheck.

The therapist Hannah was amazing! The issue we had was with the schedule system and we got canceled and rescheduled more than twice.

My daughter has been scheduled, rescheduled twice, then the therapist left so I've been waiting to hear back about a new therapist with no response

Both of my children received care, one was great the other was a waste of time.

I think bringing counseling services to the schools is great for the kids who need it.. my child Mari was struggling at the time and even though this isn't something long term, the services were helpful in identifying her needs and guiding us in the right direction.

Terrible follow through. Now my daughter won’t see a therapist. We went through three counselors before finding one and at the end of our 8th session, we never heard from anyone again until now. Very disappointing.

Overall, experience did not seem to be conducive to child's management of presenting symptoms. I understand this therapy is a short term course but the kid really did not learn anything, use skills, or acknowledge/process deeper emotions. Sessions consisted of watching videos. There was no challenging of how to deal with negative thoughts. I did not observe much practice of skills. Practitioner was paid for essentially letting videos do the work. Further, there were some sessions that were 15 minutes or less and insurance was billed the same amount. How does that work? Also the school district was to cover these sessions but money was taken from our personal insurance's HealthFund. Im so confused about why, as we were told there would be no cost to us.

The sessions were very short, Not what I was expecting and did not meet needs of my son or myself

Deanna was wonderful. The only drawback to this RIDE state program within the schools is that there is no avenue for kids to continue with the same provider long-term. I didn't realize how difficult this would be for my child. He's still quite sad and frequently mentions how he will never see her again. They did their best to transition him to long-term treatment, but he's mourning the loss of that relationship. I wish I had thought that through more/realized what an impact it would have on him. We know the program was short-term, but again, didn't realize the impact. It was very effective, except that it ended.
