Company is reliable, bed not so much
Company is reliable. Order went through OK, text received to confirm and delivered exactly when they said it would be.
So obviously the bed was dirt cheap (we paid £360 for a king) in comparison to well known brands. It was super simple to put together without instructions (of which there were none!).
We used our existing mattress which is a dream (pun intended), however as soon as we got this frame I was waking up with terrible back ache every single day and could barely roll out of bed.
The studs around the sides of the frame look really janky. It looks like a single panel of studs which are then bent (badly) to fit the shape of the bed. The panels which the mattress sits on doesn't fully cover so there's a gap under the mattress. The material looks and feels cheap.
Would I buy from HD beds again? No. But, if you need a cheap bedframe and quickly, HD beds are reliable in that sense.
I can deal with the fact it looks a bit cheap (because it was!), but I can't deal with the backache. I wish we'd never bought it and had saved for a better quality frame. Ce'st la vie!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found our company reliable, the ordering process smooth, and delivery punctual—these are aspects we pride ourselves on!
However, we’d like to address your concerns regarding the backache. The frame of the bed is designed to provide sturdy and level support for the mattress, and it does not impact posture or comfort directly. Backaches are almost always linked to the mattress being used rather than the bed frame itself. Since you mentioned using your existing mattress, it’s possible the issue lies there, especially if the mattress doesn’t suit your current needs.
Regarding the price, as a manufacturer selling directly to customers, we eliminate showroom costs and pass those savings on to you, which is why our beds are more affordable compared to well-known brands. Rest assured, affordability does not compromise the quality of our products.
We also note your comments about the design details and materials. These are subjective preferences, but we are committed to ensuring every customer is happy with their purchase. Our customer service team has already reached out to you, please let them know if there’s anything we can do to assist further.
Thank you again for your review, and we hope this helps clarify any misunderstandings. 😊

Our bed arrived today and WOW amazing!
Our bed arrived today and WOW!! We are so grateful for the team at Hdbeds, it is clear hard work and effort that has gone into creating our gorgeous bed. Very fast delivery which was amazing over the Xmas period too! We paid £90 extra for set up which was so worth it as the lads came in and had it set up in 20/30 mins max!
Excellent communication throughout and multiple pictures and videos were sent of various beds prior to purchasing which gave us the confidence to order.
Unfortunately, with a different company 4 years ago we purchased a bed that arrived looking completely different, we were concerned this could happen again but due to the reviews and communication we decided to try and WOW we are so glad we did. Our bed looks identical to the photos provided and we will 100% purchase from this company in the future.
Thank you so much!!

Outdone yourselves tonight guys
I'm not a frequent customer but that is purely the fact I don't have cause to go past.
I went out of my way tonight and ordered on the phone then went to pick up my meal.
Despite the fact the place was HEAVING, the meal came exactly on time. IT WAS HEAVENLY
I order lamb shalamar with no coriander, and garlic naan. Its always gorgeous but tonight was just DEVINE.
Whilst waiting briefly, I spoke to a lady who had come from Bradford to eat - like other friends of mine do . . . What does that tell you!???

Hi there!
We’re absolutely thrilled to hear about your heavenly lamb Shalamar and divine garlic naan experience... but we’re scratching our heads because we’re actually a bed company! While our beds are designed to provide comfort so good you might dream of heavenly meals, we’re pretty sure you’ve got the wrong company.
That said, if your food was as amazing as your review says, maybe we should drop by that place ourselves (and get some garlic naan to go)!
Thanks for the laugh, and if you ever need a bed to sleep off a food coma, you know where to find us! 😄
Sweet dreams
It was EXACTLY what I wanted
It was EXACTLY what I wanted, I cannot complain with a single thing. Assembly was easy and the bed was extremely sturdy and beautiful to the eye, can make ANY room stand out, thank you for relatively quick delivery.
