Healthier Weight Avis 

I had been thinking of surgery for quite a while and was worried about the whole process as it’s not a little thing, it’s life changing operation so making the right choices are important. I looked at various companies and decided to go with HW because I liked the way they conducted themselves , they were very efficient and the packages offered suited me.
Well, I’m so glad I did, the whole team have been just amazing, they have organised everything from start to finish , they have been with me every step of the way, provided me with all the information I needed pre op and post op, I am called regularly by the bariateic team to check up on my well being or answer any questions I have and on top of that they have provided me with a fabulous online app where I can access all the information I need to help me with meal planning , week by week food guidance , recipes, exercise, and much much more.
They build a relationship with you from the first call and make you feel so at ease and very relaxed, nothing is too much trouble, they have given me excellent customer service. I couldn’t have done this journey without them and even though I still have a way to go yet before I reach my target I know I have all the support I need whenever I need it to help me get there.
They are a very kind and caring company.

I am now 2 years Post Op and Healthier Weight have always been on the ball with contacting me every couple of months to begin with for so long and then my 6 month, my 1 year, 18month and 2 year check up to make sure I'm okay, they also made me feel like I can contact them whenever I need too which I have done via email or call and someone has gotten back to me as soon as possible.
I originally decided to go with HW as they didn't seem as "salesy" on the phone as some other companies and actually cared about why I was doing this and I still feel this to this day. Thankyou to the whole of the team!

Complicated Gallbladder Disease. Due to pain and concerns over waiting lists, opted to go private. From initial contact to sale, professional, helpful, friendly and thorough. Offered the best price for the procedure in my region. Assigned a Surgeon Mr Spyros Kapoulas. Initial consult gave me the opportunity to learn about the cholecystectomy procedure and ask questions. Surgery booked within 6 weeks due to complications with my condition. Operated on at Burcot Hall. All Nurses and Surgical Team were helpful, professional and supportive. Advised at all times in pre-op and post-op conditions. Mr Kapoulas did an exceptionally neat job with the Laproscopy procedure. Glue not staples or stitches. Discharged next day and recovering well. Highly recommended.

Great consultant for pre operation appointment. Very thorough in checking medical history ready for operation. On the day the Consultant and anaesthetist had plenty of time to answer questions and after operation both came to see me to answer ongoing questions I had. Lovely staff at hospital. Regular checks from Healthier Weight and Dietician appointments.

Every step of the way has been so supportive by the Healthier Weight team. It is so hard making that first step and from the first phone call they have been amazing and non judgmental. It has also happened really quickly which is amazing as the last thing you’d want is to keep waiting for weeks inbetween stages.

Every member of staff at healthier weight and the hospital staff gave me 110%. I always feel listened to, supported and in the safest hands. My recovery has been great and knowing I can speak to a nurse within 24 hours with any queries or questions is great peace of mind. I would recommend healthier weight to anyone who wants a bariatric surgery.
