Blatant bait and switch

Blatant bait and switch. The website depicted a very high quality sterling silver chain, and what was received was a cheaply made piece of garbage. Customer service has ghosted me after I've asked about returning for a refund.

I hate reviewing companies but...

Its almost been two months since I decided to write this still haven’t gotten my item. Told them to send me a replacement, haven't got it yet. Do yourself a favor and just don't. I don't even like doing reviews but this place is that bad spend your hard earned money else where. They won't respect it.

Heart Keychain poor quality

Heart Keychain poor quality. I am very unhappy with the quality of the heart keychain I ordered. For $150.00, I would expect a much higher quality. The metal is very flimsy and the item feels cheap. I was also very confused as this company goes under multiple names, HeartSmith, Alivia + Danny. Buyer beware. The company is legit but the quality is not.

Don't...just don't

Please take the word of the other reviews here. This company is awful. Unlike some of the other reviewers here, I didn't have any kind of special request item. Mine was straightforward - I picked the locket type, and got a standard picture on one side and an engraved message on the other. The item arrived with yellow spots of discoloration along the top portion of the heart on the front, and brown tarnish on the back side. On the inside by the engraving, it was scratched and dented. Even if you turn out to get lucky and have no damage to your item, the quality is terrible - feels cheap and hollow, like something you'd get in a teen accessory store at the mall. I bought this for my mother, who is big jewelry person and has many nice pieces, and would've been embarrassed to give this to her. I provided pictures to the company and asked them to refund me my money, since this was such an egregious lack of quality control they should be embarrassed, but so far no response from them. I've called three times and continue to get the runaround. I wish this site allowed me to provide pictures. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business.

Unsatisfied with Purchase!

Ordered a locket with my family members fingerprint inside and it tarnished within 2
Months of wearing occasionally. The allignnt of the locket was also off when received. Took 4 months to finally get an answer and now they want me to pay to ship it back and have it adjusted and another fee to “polish” it the person I spoke to said “it doesn’t look that bad to me” Customer service sucks!!!
Do not recommend this company for quality merchandise.

Extremely unprofessional. Don’t spend your money here

Extremely unprofessional, package was not delivered and I received nothing from the company to tell me this. After calling in multiple times they requested a new address for the necklace to be sent to and told me it would arrive soon. The package was never sent because I was not informed that it was lost and the company had no idea where it was. I had to find this out by calling myself again and asking why I had not received it. Still don’t have my necklace and I am extremely upset.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Do not purchase. Once they have your money it’s impossible to reach them or get any refund . I’m out $637 but the lesson learned was worth it!!!!!!!

Deceptive Practices & Incompetent Staff!

I wish I'd read the reviews on this company before purchasing, because this has been a complete NIGHTMARE for the past two weeks. I purchased under the site name HeartSmith (which I'd later find out is the sale as Alivia & Danny and PicturesOnGold), after a very lengthy phone and email correspondence with a representative who goes by the name of Shane (not their real name, I'm sure). I'd wanted a customized cremation photo locket to hold the ashes of my Mother, who passed away only a month ago. The design O wanted would take the face of a birthstone photo locket and put it on the body of a cremation photo locket. I provided the item ID numbers of both items, birthstone information, engraving information, photo to be engraved, etc. I clearly stated exactly what I wanted, and I was told that the locket could be made exactly as I requested with the exception of the floral border around the front of the locket. I was fine with this, so long as the centered, heart-shaped birthstone would be on the front. I paid $243 total to ensure I'd recieve the locket before Christmas.

I recieve the first locket and there was NO birthstone in the front! The engraving inside the locket was so small that it was barely visible. I called back to address my concerns and sent pictures of the locket. I was told it would be corrected and a new locket would be sent out.

Another locket was shipped overnight to arrive on Christmas Eve, and it's a tiny dot of a birthstone on the corner of the locket, like it was some afterthought. The inside engraving was replaced with what looked like a white stamp. Enraged, I called back and addressed my frustrations once again. Turns out the original representative I spoke with, Shane, gave incorrect information to the design team, which is how I wound up with an incorrect product...TWICE. I was very clear and explained again exactly what I originally asked for, what I was told via email I could recieve. I was then told that the design team likely would NOT be able to make what I wanted all along, and that a refund would likely not be possible because of the customization, and that I'd be offered either an exchange or store credit which would never expire.

I told the representative that neither of those offers work for me, as I'd never use the store credit, because why would I shop a business who would make the customer pay for a mistake that the BUSINESS made? There's nothing else on any of the sites that I want, hence why I wanted a custom piece in the first place. I said either give me the product I asked for all of this time or give me a refund and I can go to and local jeweler and get exactly what I want with better quality at a higher cost. I was told someone would get back to me, but now I don't hold out much hope that I will ever recieve a refund.

I can't believe that on top of still mourning the loss of my Mother, I now have to fight to get my money back, because at this rate I don't even want an updated item. How is this business still operational? I don't want another bad quality product. I shouldn't have to consider taking legal action to resolve this issue because of the wrongdoing of the business, but that is my next step if this issue isn't resolved in a satisfactory manner. My Mother's ashes deserve better than this experience, so please just give me my hard-earned money back.

One and the same

Ordered a silver pendent, received it 12/27 it was crap , stamp on the front and etch with acid on the back. Called company for a refund , the woman was rude and would not give me a return number. And sent email but they never responded. And get this heartsmith and pictureongold are the same company, same address, same phone numbers. Save your money and shop with a trusted company
