Disappointing Service and Unclear Contract Terms
My experience with Heart to Heart has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I signed up for their matchmaking service, expecting to receive five introductions as promised in my contract. However, what I received instead was a series of profiles and pictures, which, according to the company, somehow counts as fulfilling their "service" obligation.
When I requested a prorated refund because they failed to provide the introductions within a reasonable time frame, I was met with a confusing and evasive response. The Director of Operations, Kevin, insisted that merely sending a profile or picture constitutes a service, which was never made clear when I signed up. Despite multiple attempts to clarify the terms and request a refund, I felt like I was being stonewalled with vague answers and constant requests to review my contract (which I had already provided).
The entire process has been a nightmare. Their contract terms are ambiguous, and their customer service is unhelpful at best. If you're considering using Heart to Heart for matchmaking, be prepared for a lot of frustration and very little actual service. I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for a genuine matchmaking experience.
EDIT: I initially joined Heart to Heart with high hopes, but the experience has been severely underwhelming. After expressing my dissatisfaction in a review, I was shocked when the company threatened to suspend my membership unless I removed my honest feedback.
The service has failed to deliver the value promised in the contract, and instead of working to resolve my concerns, their response was to ask me to delete my review as a condition to continue the discussion. It feels wrong that improving my opinion of the service should start with silencing criticism. Rather than addressing the lack of value or attempting to genuinely improve my experience, they seem more interested in maintaining appearances.
Honest feedback should be welcomed, not stifled. If this is how Heart to Heart handles customer concerns, I would caution anyone considering their service to think twice. I stand by my review, as it reflects my real experience with this company.
