betway is a bad way for winners
It is astonishing that this company is allowed to operate in such an intransparent and dubious way in Germany, actually in principle or in every country. The biggest trap with this company is the "bonus trap". In the event of a win, this turns out to be a kind of "gagging contract", at least that would have to be legally examined. We bet € 100.00 on Italy winning the European Championship 1:8. We were told that if Italy won, we would win € 800.00 minus € 40.00 betting tax (?), i.e. € 760.00, and would be paid out. There was no indication that we would be forced to accept the bonus. We only noticed this when we wanted to have the winnings paid out. All of a sudden it was only € 540.00 that they wanted to pay out to us...? So who granted who a "bonus" here? But even when we grudgingly ordered the payout online and were told that the payout had been successful, the money did not end up in our account. Not until today! That is insufficient!
Our tip: Every bookmaker on the corner works more transparently and seriously than this company. By the way: It is not that difficult to sue in UK/Malta!!! Go: UKGC (United Kingdom)/ MGA (Malta)

The injured party created an account at betway under her surname "fellenberg" (user).
She and 3 other friends of hers (1 journalist, 1 lawyer, 1 museum scientist (UWE)), full of anticipation for the final match of the European Championship, placed a bet with betway and bet on Italy as the winner of the European Championship for EUR 100.00 at odds of 1:8. As already described above, it was indicated that in case of victory EUR 800.00 minus EUR 40.00 (betting tax?), i.e. EUR 760.00, would be won and paid out! (Screenshot). When the winnings were to be booked to Ms. Fellenberg's account, a payout amount of EUR 540.00 (??) suddenly appeared. Where did it say that she was forced to accept a bonus??? Ms Fellenberg triggered the payout by clicking on the necessary button to credit the amount to her account and the confirmation "Payout successful" appeared. (Screenshot). However, the money has not yet been credited to her account. Her account at betway was blocked, with the advice to contact "support". They asked her for proof of identity (copy of ID, passport, invoice, etc.). Ms Fellenberg has already complied with this request by making 5 telephone calls to this so-called "support team" and has already sent the requested proof of identity to betway twice (e-mail proof). Result: Still no money in the account!!! So I/we suggest you stop sending your standard emails with the announcement "to solve the problem" and pay Ms. Fellenberg and all her other customers who have complained about her business behaviour not only on the web and that's it. Or do Mr Johnson and his colleagues have no honour left in their bodies? As the saying goes: betting debts are debts of honour! Anyway, please note that especially the journalist as well as the lawyer in our circle, but also I, are not prepared to accept this dubious behaviour. We will support Mrs. Fellenberg in any case with her justified claim to her "company"!!! Best regards to Gibraltar....!...or wherever!?

firstly would start with the customer service...for live chats you have to wait for almost an hour and then you realise these executive are just like robots..they dont have the authority over anything and they have the same speech for everyone..(we have escalated the matter or we are working on it and we are reviewing your account..this is all they are authorized to say.i can challenge anyone if the live chat could anyway solve your problem.secondly from the starting of april alot of people have lost their money and its still not credited till date.even when your bank confirms the payment and as well as the gateway they wont accept that they have received the money specially in india.they would give you very lame excuses like the bank s processor is working on it.so deposit is a problem and this is where you burn your brain cells trying to figure out what happened with your money.coming to withdrawls..they will say they have paid but you are still to get your money.now with the email communications...they would hardly reply to you depending upon the case and specially if its withdrawl or deposit issues..now from the month of may till june 2021 alot of people have lost their money while depositing and still to get their refund till now...if you would go through the reviews people depositing under 10000inr are the victims mostly...over here you could just go through the reviews and just see how many people have lost their money in just withdrawl and deposit..the betway doesnt have any answer for it even in the reviews if you go through the answers given by betway..they can just say that we are reviewing your account but they dont have a solution or an answer.so all i can say this is not the same betway which it used to be 6 months back and mr Anthony Werkman the ceo is least bothered about the reputation...people should start tweeting to him that where are the customers money or the betway is under huge loss so its trying to make up through customers money.its our hard earned money and even if we are gambling for a little fun that doesnt mean betway has the right to take customer s money just to fill their pocket..gambling doesnt mean stealing.try avoiding it for sometime and spread the awarenss.just for the information( Betway Fined £11.6 Million by UK Gambling Commission By Wes March 13, 2020 The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has just levied its largest fine ever to a gambling operator. Made deposit with Revolut wanted to withdrawel with this methode. CS made in a absolutely naughty answer that Revolut bank account are not gone accept. Big Scan side. Probably they gonne answer my complain in three or four month time

They locked my account for no reason (I also sent my document for verification). I tried to contact the customer support to know the reasons but the agent was unable to give me a response. She just said the it was a decision from the higher management. Absolute SCAM. Also they told me that my deposit was confiscated!!!! I have also all the email transcript with the agent.
