Henry Street Rose Nursery Avis 1 010

Received my Loving Memory rose yesterday. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition. It is a strong, healthy plant and I am very pleased with it.
Excellent communication and service.

Ordered 2roses, one was in good shape and flourished the other despite photos being sent 4months apart has not. My last correspondence with Henry Street I was forwarded off and told to leave it for another 6months as some roses need time to establish a good root system. I have a garden full of roses and consider the advise as a disregard of customer service. I would not recommend Henry Street Roses

I am a big fan of roses and have many beautiful ones in my garden, so for Valentine’s Day I decided to surprise my partner with a special gift - a standard tree rose.
I was choosing between two nurseries and eventually selected Henry Street, even though it was almost twice the price (£57.99 vs £34.95 at British Roses). I assumed the higher price would reflect better quality.
The delivery was fast and the plant was well packaged. Unfortunately, once I inspected the rose carefully, I became very concerned about its condition.
The main stem above the graft appears to have been snapped or cut off, and the wound is rough and splintered rather than a clean pruning cut. This strongly suggests accidental damage rather than proper pruning. The graft union looks stressed and exposed wood indicates the top growth has been lost. While there are a few side shoots lower down, the ball-shaped crown that should define a tree rose is simply not there.
I contacted the nursery and initially received no reply for a week. After calling them, I was told the rose was healthy and that it came with a two-year guarantee. However, my concerns were dismissed and no proper explanation was provided. I also requested a replacement plant (with three grafts instead of two), but received no response, no apology, and no follow-up.
This was meant to be a Valentine’s Day surprise for my partner. Instead, it turned into disappointment and frustration. My plans were ruined and I was left upset after spending a significant amount of money.
In hindsight, I regret not purchasing the less expensive rose from the other nursery, as I likely would have received better service for a fraction of the cost.
Overall a very poor experience - especially for a special occasion.

Ordered several bare root roses which arrived on time, well packaged and excellent value. They are now planted in my garden, and I remain hopeful, but disappointed and underwhelmed by the quality of the roses. They looked badly pruned, almost as it some of the stems had been roughly removed by hand. The overall shape of the brances were not that good either, quite odd in fact. I appreciate that when they spring to life, things may change, but I won't be back. I have discovered other rose growers that provide first class specimens and there really is no comparison. I must admit I regret purchasing these now, and wish I had paid slightly more for top quality specimens. The website however, is good, and the customer photographs are an excellent addition. Just a shame about the quality of the roses, that's all.

I've ordered twice from this company and both times the recipients said the rose was well packed and in bud, and was a healthy plant. They were thrilled. Delivery was prompt and the price was good. Would definitely buy from them again.

Really excellent. Buying plants online can be a bit uncertain, but these were competitively priced, perfect quality, packaged really well, and delivered on time and in accordance with delivery instructions. This was a faultless purchase experience and would definitely recommend

Pleasent staff. Mediocre food. Fabric chairs in restaurant were very stained and wooden table centres filthy.

Ordered two roses online from Henry Street.

One turned up in ok condition, the other had heavy damage either from packing or the courier and had a tonne of what looked like sawfly and thrip damage.

Overall very disappointing, will stick to David Austin in future.

Really good service from Henry Street Rose Nursery. Bought a Rambling Rosie Climber from them and received a well packaged, healthy rose. Good comms too and delivery via APC (always good in this area). Highly recommended

Best price online for this particular rose, good website, and a fast delivery. The plant arrived within the dates quoted on the website and was very very well packaged and protected. The rose is in top condition, looking very healthy and already in flower :) I will definitely buy from this nursery next time I want a rose!

I was very excited to receive my Ebb Tide rose. They kept me updated on delivery, arrived on time, well packaged and in really good condition. Plenty of buds. Even got a nice Rose care leaflet. Looking through the website for my next purchase.

I have just received my ‘you’re my everything’ rose having seen it advertised on your website.
The delivery was very good and packaging excellent.
What did not expect, was to smell the fragrance even before I had got the rose out of the box. It is simply divine.
I would say that it is the best rose that I have ever ordered on line and received. It is in beautiful condition, and has several flowers either budding or coming into bloom.
What more could I ask for. Simply perfect.

I am always a little hesitant about ordering plants online but judging by my latest purchase I would definitely order from Henry Street again. I bought my husband a “With love to you” rose for our anniversary and it looks so healthy with a rose actually in flower. So pleased. Thoroughly recommend.

I wish I could award more stars as the climbing rose I ordered arrived today which I must say was very quickly, it is absolutely stunning and it hasn’t even flowed yet, it has loads of healthy rich green leaves and also a few buds, Henry Street Nursery Is obviously a quality establishment and I will certainly be buying more roses from them in the future.

Healthy, well packed and delivered rose, which after a few days in its lovingly composed bed is doing v. well! Should you trust Trust Pilot reviews? A previous company sent me a dead stick bare root in a dry plastic bag and yet that company, so well known for seeds in my youth, still gets the same rates as this honourable HSRNursery.

Utter rip off in the cafe. My daughter and I only wanted a bacon roll but was charged same price as having bacon, sausage and egg roll (£7.95!!!) Bacon was barely warm and bun cheap crap. Online pricing is different from when you get there! Complained to manager and all I was offered was a pathetic £2 off voucher next time I use the cafe - Needless to say I will NEVER EVER be going anywhere near your rip off cafe again! Its cheaper to go to Harrods !!!

What rotten customer service! It was only the middle of the month and we went looking forward to rose offer.
However after spending in the cafe and buying other products we were informed that they had run out of roses and there wouldn't be any more. Nowhere in the store did it mention this even though there were still signs up saying to get your free rose at the tills on exit. Won't be visiting again any time soon. Mean!
