My broadband fibre was installed today. Darren and Ritchie were excellent at installing and wasted no time getting the job done. Ritchie explained everything in very easy to understand language and assisted in setting up a couple of devices to ensure I knew what to do. Once again great job, well done.

Really poor and inconsistent communication from staff over the weekend in response to a complete loss. Staff appeared to not know or be able to give details on procedures. Consistently told that someone would call back in x hours but they never did.
Contacted HB on Monday and to be fair they did send an engineer straight out who fixed the problem, however was told that complaints department would call back within 48 hours, it's now Thursday and guess what, nobody has called me back!
Update- shortly after submitting this review, I had a phone call and what felt like a genuine apology from Matt. He also stated that learning opportunities have been identified and he has put a small credit on my account. Upgraded to 3 stars.
John and Chris came to fit my broadband today.First class in every way.Explained the whole process and you would never know they were here as the garden is exactly as it was before they arrived.The lads are a credit to Highland Broadband.

No fuss, very neat job and they did the vacuuming. Checked the main areas for WiFi connection, updated our devices and the best bit, they were happy and talkative, explained what would happen before it happened.

my wifi was working normally with ee wifi and then they bloody put new cables and made everyone wifi worse so they want to make more money absolutely horrible and when i did get highland broadband they made my wifi worse as i couldnt connect and i paid for 500 mbps but im only getting 49 mbps absolutely bullshit

What a wonderful team !
Nikki and Matt did an amazing amazing job. My father is 92 and still loves to do his research on his computer, watch TV and spend hours on the phone. The Highland Broadband team knew exactly what programme to put us onto, how our house configuration worked, and helped save us £12.50 a month!!

I was happy with my installation all being done on time and was told when I agreed to the contract that installation was done free of charge. I had to reply to BDUK to confirm that it was done satisfactory which I did the next day. I had further emails after that from BDUK so assumed I had not done it correctly so filled it in and submitted again. This happened 4 times in total. The thing that really bothered me was the threat email from Highland broadband that my service would be suspended if I did not do it. When I called to find out what the threat was for, I was told that they could see that I had in fact sent it and they were sorry. I shouldn’t have to do anything or be threatened for not doing something when I was told if was free! Threaten me again and you can suspend the service if you want. Plenty of providers out there that would be happy to take my business. Shocking treatment of a new customer.
