We’ve been working with this team for our waste management services, and the level of professionalism and reliability has been outstanding.
Our general and recycling & food waste drivers , Curtis Fleming & Steve Derrick, have been consistently punctual, friendly, and incredibly helpful.
Alex Chew, our Sales Representative, who made the onboarding process simple and transparent. Alex took the time to understand our needs and provided clear, honest guidance throughout.
And finally, Zoe Ratcliff, who has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Zoe’s communication, support, and responsiveness have been exceptional from start to finish. She ensures everything runs smoothly and is always quick to help with any queries.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Quite literally a load of rubbish. Lie saying collections were made when there were two full bins left? Service appalling... Turns out they were calling us liars and that we were filling up the bins but in fact they were collecting the wrong bins... They outsource the glass collection then all of a sudden the glass collection contract gets cancelled without telling us. This company is one to avoid at all costs.

Easy account set up, fantastic service!
Following a visit from - very friendly and professional - Alex Chew, i decided to "bin off" our old service provider, who were frequently failing to collect. I was then introduced to Zoe Ratcliff (sales supervisor) who, together with Alex, got our account up and running. Both Zoe and Alex have been absolute stars - the transition to Hills was flawless, and the account set up was easy and painless. The service is a hundred times better than our old provider. I feel like i can actually trust Hills to do what they say they will do - i dont have any concerns with their service. Speaking of the collection service itself - i would also like to give a special shout out to Nick Andrews who empties our recycling every wednesday. He's a very happy chappy - always arrives with a smile, and every staff member here who has had the pleasure of meeting him has commented on how polite and helpful he is.
All round great service - highly recommend giving them a try! In my opinion, miles better than "the big guys" we were using before!

One of the worst service experiences we…
One of the worst service experiences we have had with a contractor.
Bin collections were consistently missed over an extended period, despite us fully complying with the service requirements. Communication was poor, accountability was nonexistent, and issues were never properly resolved.
To make matters worse, one of their drivers was rude and aggressive on site — behaviour that is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This alone should be a serious red flag to any business considering using this company.
Instead of addressing their repeated failures, the company abruptly terminated the service, citing vague “operational issues.” This came across as a convenient excuse rather than a legitimate reason, especially given the ongoing problems beforehand.
The overall service was awful, disorganised, and handled with a complete lack of professionalism. We will be making other local businesses aware of our experience and would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere.

We received excellent service by Jonathan and Robert from Hills' Purton Depot! They came to let us know the bin store padlock code would no longer work and actually help getting it open, while being very patient all the while! Many others would have simply turned around and left. They then cleared the bin store for us even though there was more rubbish than anticipated.

I am new customer to this company
I am new customer to this company. Once they have got your direct debit authorization, they will charge whatever they think it is correct. They are sending different emails to tell you the collection dates and did not turn up but charge you saying that no access for collection. It is certainly no access because they have sent wrong collection dates. You have no idea when they are coming. It is not possible to leave the garden door always open 24/7. Sometimes Need to wait 30 minutes for customer services call. Totally frustrated

I have subsequently received the call from the company and relevant credit note was issued and I am satisfied with their prompt response to this matter. It is now resolved. One more comment on their customer service officer, Magdalene , who was patient and very helpful all the way to listen to my issue. Appreciated.

Todays driver, Marcus, was a great help. Despite the biblical weather he helped our warehouse operative to clear away some overflowing rubbish to allow him to remove our general waste skip. Once again top service.

A brilliant response to a request for documentation.
During an Environmental audit at work I was required to present a copy of a document to do with Hills, I didn't have it, I rang Ryan P. and he sent the document over pretty sharpish - a great help.

Great service from all at Hills
We deal with Hills regularly to take in our mixed waste and also exchange a bin here on our waste transfer site. I can not speak highly enough of them, they make sure that all waste transfers are done in a timeley manner and make the whole process totally hassle free for us.
Ryan Payne and Andrew Wallace deal with this for us and I could not ask for any more from them in regards to this, I have recenlty been speaking to Zoe in the office who has also been great but unfortunately I do not have her sir name but again goes above and beyond to help in any way possible. Highly reccomend, thank you from all at WRB

Recycling / Landfill - who cares
Sadly, the team couldn't be bothered to place to neatly presented cardboard into their lorry so from now on everything will be placed into landfill - I'm not convinced that it makes a difference anyway - thanks Wiltshire Council / Hills

I want to thank Natalie for her great help and support. She gave me clear, detailed information about shop bins right from the start. She made sure I understood everything. Natalie answered my questions quickly. Her answers were always helpful and easy to grasp. She worked hard to give me all the right details. This saved me time and confusion.

Driver very helpful and polite
Due to driver sickness at Hills, our fortnightly collection had to be rescheduled, Hills managed to get this re-booked within a couple of days. When the driver arrived he was very efficient and happy to take a few minutes out of his day to chat to me and ensure that our services were being met at the standard we have now come to expect from Hills.

When we requested some additional waste collection following a charity event you would think nothing could go wrong. Everything was in place - or so we thought! The driver was not allowed to collect the waste, because the jobsworths in the office said there were too many bins. The ensuing conversation took so long that the driver said he could have done the collection in half the time. They then denied the conversation ever took place, but on reviewing the recorded conversation they addmitted they had got it wrong. The glitzy website does not reflect the product. If you can find someone else to use then in my view you should

My service is constantly disrupted…
My service is constantly disrupted meant to have a collection once a week and it never gets collected on time which is very frustrating, always an excuse of taco hours but surely if it’s missed on day of collection it’s should be first on next day but it’s not then driver runs out of taco again !!! this has been happening for months then I get charged for overweight bin yeah because your late collecting it !!!! Really poor customer service for regular bin collections.
