I can confidently recommend Himalayan Trekking Path. It’s an excellent local trekking agency that took care of everything for me from start to finish. As a solo traveler, I felt fully supported the entire time.

They are very flexible and will adapt both the pace and the trekking itinerary to match your abilities and preferences, which makes the whole experience much more comfortable and enjoyable.

When flights from Lukla were canceled due to bad weather, they handled the situation professionally and efficiently—arranging an extra night of accommodation and organizing a helicopter for the next day. That level of care in a stressful situation really stood out.

We went hiking the Manaslu circuit with Himalayan Trekking Path. Our guide, mr. Dendi (Sherpa) and porter Razu were so great and brought happiness and professionality to our day. Ram, the owner of Himalayan trekking path, kept checkin in from Kathmandu to make sure everything was fine. Himalayan trekking path did everything to make sure we had the best time. The guide, the porter, and Ram really distinguished themselves from the other guiding companies in terms of professionality (choosing best tracks of the trail and providing information (like bookingprocess, before start and every day info pre/during and after hike, when to use and not to use crampons). The best treat: mr. Dendi making coffee at Larke pass topped everything. Unfortunately due to heavy snow it was not possible for us to make it to Manaslu basecamp and Tibet Border.
We were able to continue with the journey thanks to quickly thinking, switching and modifying the program by Himalayan trekking path. It was unbelievable beautiful experience with unforgettable memories. Thanks so much for contributing to that. My husband and I just completed the 8 night Annapurna Base Camp (via Poon Hill) trek with Himalayan Trekking Path, and we had the best experience. I had a good impression from the very start — during the initial planning of our trip, Ram was very responsive and supportive, helping us to customize our itinerary. He also arranged to give us the necessary gear that we needed (sleeping bags, crampons, trekking poles). The trek itself was wonderfully organized. Our guide Shiva was the best, always there to support and encourage us along the way. He ensured that we stayed at the best teahouses with good food. We always felt safe and comfortable with him. Our porter Rohit (who usually works as a guide) was also great and helped to take care of us. Having some laughs with both of them in the evenings was great, like hiking with friends :)

Ramhari Neupane was quick and thorough with every email reply to our questions and helped us plan the perfect Annapurna trek that fit our interests, time available, fitness, and budget. He was very flexible and helpful as we made changes to our itinerary before arriving and double checked everything to make sure everything went smoothly for us. He was also quick to reply to our WhatsApp messages at any time during the trip, ensuring that we could fully enjoy and make the most of our trip.

Shree Krishna Neupane was everything we could have asked for in a guide and more. From his warm greeting and pickup at the airport to his very friendly, fun, and positive nature the entire time, he made us feel like we were family. Shree is incredibly knowledgeable about the Himalayas, Nepal history and culture, and more that he shared throughout to make the trek extra special. He took excellent care of us at all times and was happy to adjust the plans at anytime based on our interests and the weather. Some of our best memories are of playing a local card game he taught us and sharing lots of laughs together.

Our porter Uttam Neupane was also highly professional in how well he helped to take care of us and our bags and gear. He was very careful, safe, and cheerful at all times.

My two weeks in Nepal was one of the best trips I've ever taken and I really hope to come back soon to explore more of this wonderful country. If I do I will absolutely choose Himalayan Trekking Path Pvt Ltd again as everything they do is at the highest level possible.

Ram was extremely helpful, attentive and the communication was quick and easy. We had first met him guiding another group on the Mera Peak trek. He showed great capacity to adapt to his group, had the experience of his trekkers to heart and did everything he could so that everyone would complete the trek safely, he is fluent in English and we had amazing conversation. We can clearly feel his love for nature (he took care of cleaning up the path while guiding his group and many trekkers were helping him afterwards). He is also able to organise for a wide variety of experience, if you are on a budget or want something more comfortable. We even had the chance to have diner at his place and meet his family, which was lovely :)

I can highly recommend Himalayan Trekking Path! I did the Manaslu Trek in a small group, and my expectations were exceeded in every way.

The communication and planning beforehand with Ram were very straightforward, fast, and reliable, which allowed us to start as early as the next morning. Our guide Shiva created a great atmosphere with his sense of humor, answered all our questions about the country and its people, and remained calm and attentive in situations where we weren’t feeling completely well.

He was also very flexible in accommodating our wishes and adjusted the itinerary accordingly. I would book a tour with this organization again anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Booking and trekking with The Himalayan Trekking Path Ltd was a smooth experience from the initial inquiry to the end of the trek. Communication was always clear and quick, the website is appealing and informative, and it was a pleasure to meet Ramhari in person when I arrived in Kathmandu.

I was very satisfied with Phurba Sherpa as a local porter and happy to have Rohit Rai as a guide for the whole trek. Both did a great job in this remote region of Nepal. There were a few relatively small issues due to language or cultural misunderstandings, but these were always resolved quickly.

Doing this trek on my second visit to Nepal (after the Annapurna Circuit and Mardi Himal), I was amazed to see Kangchenjunga and its surrounding nature. The mountains are stunning. Because of the high altitude, rocky terrain, and occasional landslides, the trek can be challenging. However, most trekking days finish around noon or early afternoon, leaving plenty of time to relax.

The food is not as varied or fancy as on the Annapurna Circuit, though the famous dal bhat power is available everywhere.

Reaching the starting point currently requires about 1.5–2 days of travel, which is quite long, but absolutely worth it considering the scenery and nature you experience along the way.

I also wouldn’t want to miss the final two days from Yamphudin to Khandinbe, as they take you through small villages and offer a glimpse into the authentic, non–teahouse lifestyle of the local people.

Overall:
A challenging yet stunning trek that I would recommend to anyone eager to experience a less-traveled part of the Himalayas.

Himalayan Trekking Path was the right choice to do the 12-day-Manaslu-Circuit for a fair and affordable price.

Very professional, serving and doing extra miles beyond normal (providing gear for free, extra snacks on the trek including fruits, closing dinner in Kathmandu).

The owner Ram is professional and has a deeper consciousness in doing sustainable business. He is paying the Guides right and is not only into doing business for himself. His attitude is warm and kind-hearted. Much appreciated.

Shiva e Ram sono stati più che semplici guide: hanno cercato in ogni momento di garantirci tutti i comfort possibili, non si sono mai stancati delle domande sulla lingua nepalese, ogni giorno del trek hanno condiviso curiosità sui luoghi che attraversavamo. Mi è anche stato prestata gratuitamente dell'attrezzatura tecnica di cui ero sprovvisto, e mi hanno passato una grande playlist di musica nepalese che ascolto ancora adesso:)

Wir waren im Januar 2026 mit Ram von HimalayanTrekkingPath auf einer 9-tägigen Reise in Nepal unterwegs. Unsere Reise führte uns von Kathmandu über den Chitwan-Nationalpark (beeindruckend!), Lumbini (Buddhas Geburtsort), Pokhara und andere zauberhafte kleine Städtchen, die auf dem Weg lagen.

Die klare Winterluft in den Bergregionen, die ruhigen Morgenstimmungen zum Sonnenaufgang und die atemberaubende Landschaft haben uns tief berührt. Besonders beeindruckt haben uns auch die freundlichen, offenen Menschen, die uns immer wieder freundlich ansprachen und selbst in einfachen Situationen ein Lächeln bereiten konnten.

Besonders fasziniert hat uns Nepals Kultur: lebendige Märkte, buddhistische und hinduistische Tempel und authentische Begegnungen mit Einheimischen, die ihre Traditionen mit Stolz und Freude teilen. Die regionale Küche, von einfachem Dal Bhat bis zu würzigen Street-Food-Genüssen, war schmackhaft und vielseitig. Insbesondere die vegetarischen Speisen waren köstlich!
Auch unserem Interesse für die lokale Landwirtschaft kamen Ram und Rajesh nach: Sie organisierten auf unseren Wunsch einen individuellen Besuch einer Organic-Coffee-Farm. Wir sind sehr angetan von diesem fantastischen Kaffee!!!

Die Organisation vor Ort war durchgängig zuverlässig: pünktliche Transfers, sorgfältig ausgewählte Hotels (Achtung: der Winter in Nepal ist kalt und es ist normal, auch einmal in einem klammen Hotelbett zu schlafen; Heizungen sind nicht üblich in Nepal; auch Sterne-Hotels heizen, wenn überhaupt mittels Klima-Anlage) und eine sichere, verantwortungsbewusste Auswahl kultureller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Angebot war für uns eine stimmige Balance zwischen Aktivitäten und freier Zeiteinteilung für uns als Paar.

Den Abschluss unserer Reise bildete ein spektakulärer Rundflug zum Mount Everest und den majestätischen Gipeln der Gebirgskette. Unvergesslich!!!

Wir sind unglaublich dankbar für diese unvergesslichen Eindrücke und bedanken uns herzlich bei unserem Reiseleiter Ram und unserem Fahrer Rajesh. Die beiden waren ein großartiges und eingespieltes Team! Wir empfehlen diese Reise jedem, der auf der Suche nach authentischen Natur- und Kulturerlebnissen im Urlaub ist.

Przygoda w Nepalu przewyższyła wszelkie nasze oczekiwania.
Jedzenie, noclegi, i kultura w Nepalu jest na wyższym poziomie. A przede wszystkim, nasz główny przewodnik z HTP, Ramhari, robił wszystko co mógł i więcej, aby zapewnić nam najlepszą jakość wyprawy. Zawsze pełen optymizmu, zwalczał z nami słabą pogodę, zmieniał terminy lotów, pomagał przejść bardziej techniczne punkty trasy, oraz dzielił się swoją obszerną wiedzą na wszelkie tematy związane z górami oraz historią i kulturą nepalską. Nie ma sprawy której Ram nie byłby w stanie załatwić.
Do tego mieliśmy dwóch dodatkowych przewodników przez co w naszej ośmio-osobowej grupie, każdy był w pełni zaopiekowany bez względu na tempo w trakcie wędrówki. Rohit i Chandra dzielili się swoim entuzjazmem do gór, pomagali w technicznych punktach trasy, a nawet łapali i ratowali kiedy ktoś się poślizgnął! Dzięki nim, na naszych postojach zawsze czuliśmy się zaopiekowani. Nauczyli nas nepalskich gier w karty, oraz kilka przydatnych zwrotów w języku nepalskim. Miałem też osobiście okazję wstąpić w bardziej kameralne grona miejscowych ludzi i się z nimi zintegrować dzięki zaproszeniu jednego z przewodników.
Szczególne wyróżnienie należy się także dla tragarzy, którzy z łatwością przemierzali ciężki teren z naszymi bagażami w ciężkich warunkach pogodowych.
Co do samej trasy, w pierwszą stronę zmierzaliśmy się z opóźnionym monsoonem, czyli dużo deszczu, a wyżej - dużo śniegu. Wieczory spędzone suszeniem sprzętu zostały w pełni wynagrodzone idealną pogodą przy ataku szczytowym. Widoki z tej góry są naprawdę przepiękne. Wszystkim udało się zdobyć szczyt, w tym jednemu członkowi grupy który w pierwotnej próbie musiał zawrócić z powodu objawów chorobowych. Ramhari zaproponował ponowienie próby, przy której razem zdobyli szczyt i dogonili resztę grupy w kolejnych dniach.
Troska wyżej wymienionych przewodników wybiega poza terminy treku, gdzie wspierają nas podczas pobytu w Kathmandu, między innymi z transportem do innych atrakcji.
Z całego serca polecam tą agencję każdemu kto planuje trekking w Himalajach.

We did 15-day Annapurna tour with Himalayan Trekking Path, guided by Ram and friendly porter Shambly, and our experience was truly outstanding from start to finish. While in Manang (at 3400 m), unexpected and unusually heavy snowfall forced us to either wait several days or turn back. As we couldn’t afford the delay, we opted to return. Ram handled the situation with remarkable calm and efficiency, organizing an alternative plan on short notice, including a partial return by Jeep — no small feat given that hundreds of trekkers were trying to do the same. Throughout the trip, Ram proved to be extremely reliable, positive, attentive, and incredibly supportive. His experience, local knowledge, and problem-solving skills made all the difference.
Thanks to his flexibility, we enjoyed beautiful alternative hikes and cultural visits around Pokhara and the Kathmandu Valley, turning what could have been a disappointment into a truly memorable adventure.

Szef wyprawy Ramhari oraz jego pomocnicy Chandra i Rohit zapewnili nam znakomite warunki, miłą, pozytywną atmosferę, opiekę na szlaku, oraz niejednokrotnie wykazali się ponadprogramową pomocą w załatwieniu jakiś mniejszych lub większych spraw zawsze z uśmiechem na twarzy. Nie było żadnych problemów z przedłużeniem naszej wyprawy o jeden dzień kiedy tego potrzebowaliśmy ze względu na pogodę lub przesunięciem lotu z Lukli. Po powrocie do Kathmandu, Ramhari chętnie załatwił nam również safari do Chitwan i osobiście zaprowadził i odebrał z „przystanku” autobusowego. Nastawienie naszych przewodników wpłynęło na nasze morale i w dużej mierze zapewniło że ostatecznie cała ekipa 8 osób zdobyła Mera Peak.
