To many scam jobs. If you're grabbing all jobs in a row, at least implement a moderation procedure. It's messy.
I 've logged in this Job site.
It's great website and I 'm very happy this website.
Let's improve continue!
This is about a so-called programmer in this organization called Asif Farhan Khan.
I had a run-in with him through an agency. I just want to warn people that this guy is a con artist. I gave him a contract that included a bonus if he finished it within the 1st deadline.
He was all enthusiastic but then he couldn't finish the task.
I gave him a 2nd deadline. Then he submitted a code that clearly didn't run. So, I told him that this is not working.
That was when he started making strange meaningless remarks that had nothing to do with the situation.
I also checked his code and saw that he had moved a lot of variables out of the initialization file, which was totally unnecessary and even detrimental.
So, I sent him a long message explaining why this was not a good idea. He came back with more irrelevant stuff, even arguing that it wasn't necessary and he was not planning to change anything regarding the initialized variables.
So, I told him I have had experience in project management and trained young programmers. This is time-wasting, just do the task and stop messing about.
That was when he started insulting me. I had just given him a 3rd deadline and he was insulting me.
Then I figured it out. He couldn't get the bonus, so as far as he was concerned it just wasn't worth working on.
So, I terminated the contract and I asked for my deposit back. That was when the trouble started. This wasn't a dispute that could be referred for arbitration.
But he had mentioned that I was going to use his code which given the fact that his code didn't run and I had given him a code as basis for the work was a really unjustified claim.
I got back to him and asked him if he was serious and how could even claim that.
He started a new series of lies and told me that I just had to wait until he took care of his other clients. He was extremely rude and for someone who had done nothing very sure of himself that he was the one dictating the timetable and I shouldn't think that I was in control.
I am not going to speculate but that made me think that this doesn't sound right to me.
So, I had to resort to pressure to get all my money back. It took a while and my account in the agency was deactivated while I had funds in the company account and it seemed as if I was not going to get a full refund.
But I managed to get around not being able to raise a complaint and finally, someone saw that this would create liability for the company if I had pursued it. So, someone in a roundabout way sent me the refund and asked me to consider the case closed.
I am not going to speculate on the details but I offered a theory to the agency involved and they didn't deny it. But what is crystal clear is that if this guy had been straight none of this would have happened.
Later, I went through his 1st message and opening offer and realized that this was a classic con model. The guy didn't know anything about the work and he was winging it. Now it was my fault for not seeing it then and maybe some people use the same tactic to get their foot in the door but they don't lie, misdirect, and insult. So, you make your own conclusion of this tale and decide if you want to trust him.
