Hire Cars in Spain Avis 

Had cause to speak to Gordon @ Hire Cars In Spain recently and found the guy straight forward and easy to understand. Would highly recommend.

Second year with them and no issues at all ( which makes a change for car hire in Spain). We also used Dickmans through them - who were very good too. They took a payment off my credit card for petrol even though I was full to full (97euros) but this was paid back today - 2 days after returning. I always worry about the excess as I have my own cover but this was not a problem and there were no extra charges. We will definitely use them again.

We have used Hire Cars in Spain for a number of years and we now don’t bother looking at any other company, the choice and prices are very competitive (although we normally choose Dickmanns – who have improved over the years!!) The customer service Hire Cars in Spain provide is first class, they respond very quickly no matter what day or time. We have had to rearrange flights at short notice and upon contacting Martin he has also re-arranged the car hire for us. We have also booked long term car hire and Martin has accommodated us. Nothing is too much trouble. We have and will go on recommending Hire Cars In Spain – the personal touch means a lot

So easy over the phone and very helpful. Cost me £60 plus £28 In fuel for 8 days car hire. Ridiculous when you see other firms costs ! Just ensure insured in UK. Great car and no hassle. Only down side was a long wait when queuing to collect car but easy and simple return !

I have used hirecarsinspain for 4 years now and I hired a car in Malaga, Spain for two weeks and once I had booked it, I read some worrying reviews about the hire company. I rang hirecarsinspain and spoke to Martin and expressed my concerns. He helped me to switch to a different hire company and advised on full-full fuel policy, etc.He then told me he would cancel my booking and re-arrange with the other company. All done within minutes and email confirmation received. Getting this sorted was a relief and I went on holiday knowing that the car was all sorted. I can't praise Martin enough - he was simply brilliant! Thanks mate. :-)

Brilliant company! Been using this company for years and wouldnt go anywhere else. Very competitive rates and always found them to be extremely helpful.

I have now used Hire cars in Spain for 4 years and this year I had to make some changes, cancel and rebook due to family joining us. Martin was great and it was all handled flawlessly. We use Centauro at St Javier airport and they have been great too. Easy with no hassle is what you want at the start of a holiday and these guys provide this! Highly recommended.

Through Dove Travel in Lee on the Solent (an old contact) I booked a holiday car in Alicante.
They used a company called Dickmanns, which is conveniently located near the Airport. A shuttle bus is used to ferry passengers in & out.
The service from Dove & Dickmanns was faultless, with none of the hidden extras that one hears about in the press.
I have no hesitation in recommending both companies.

Excellent confidence-inspiring service, nothing too much trouble

Have been using this company for a few years now. They have fantastic rates and if there are any questions or changes required they are excellent at helping to accomodate. I have recommeded to friends and family and they too are enjoying the fantastic service from Martin and his team.

I have worked with Martin for several years now, for family holidays and trips with friends. Not only in Spain, but also in France. His service is impeccable. When I found a much cheaper car (really incredibly cheap) on another site and informed him, he prompted me to book the other car because it had to be an internet-error, which proved to be the case. I took my insurance from Martin. If I don't find any new internetglitches on other carhiresites I will always book with him.

We hire cars 5 /6 times a year and always use Martin,his help with finding the best deal and model is invaluable,especially when we have to change things about.on our last hire there was a problem with disputed damage (we have our own annual insurance and the hire company took nearly £600 from our credit card) Martin contacted them on our behalf and within a few days managed to get the full amount refunded.Realy cannot praise him enough.

Tried Firefly again after experiencing a “clerical error” last time (They had retained a charge for refilling, off of the “blocked excess” on my credit card. Fortunately, I had proof I had refuelled before returning!!)
On this occasion there was no such drama. I noted a few scratches that were not on their itinerary but, after a trip back to the office, they marked them off before I drove away.
Staff were very polite but they do try to push their additional insurance (even though I had informed them that I had an annual excess policy in place). They also “block” 1000 euros off a credit card (will not accept debit cards!!).
As stated, no drama this time so would definitely use in future.

I cant recommend Martin highly enough, not only for the fantastic service and information about hiring cars aboard but his endless patience and prompt responses to my endless queries and changing of mind about what I wanted to book.

The rates are very good but the best thing is the honest info given. Sometimes the answers to questions are more important than the rates and in this area they have been the best.

Arranged with only 2 days notice
I contacted HirecarsinSpain needing a car for a few days whilst on a Business Trip. The trip was arranged on short notice (2 days) whilst also being half term! Martin managed to meet all my needs at a great price within 30 minutes. I highly recommend hirecarsinspain and would like to thank Martin and the team for their help.
