hmv Ireland Avis 

Poor performance. Whilst I received part of my order, 18 days later I still am waiting on the final part with no email advice or responses to my 2 contact forms. I will never use this companies online services again and I would suggest that you don't also.

Disgraceful customer service and no delivery...
Ordered a CD on 2nd December and still has not arrived.
Sent four emails in to the abyss of their customer service which all went unanswered.
Called the number on the site for two weeks with no answer.
Finally got through to be told yes, we will refund your order... I'm not at all hopeful this will happen!
If it doesn't I'm contacting the Guards immediately and consumer affairs.
An absolute disgrace and absolutely fraudulent!
I will be recommending, based on my experience and on reviews below, that HMV.ie no longer be permitted to trade.

Happy to take the money from your account within days and then state that the order will arrive withing 3-7 working days.

3 weeks later, numerous messages through their god awful site
1 response telling me that "I’m sure you can appreciate, it is an exceptionally busy time of year for post everywhere".....like thats an excuse!
tried ringing every number i could fine online INCLUDING England and not one number works OR you're left on hold for 15minutes (lost the will to live at that point!)

Honest to sweet mother of god in this day and age when Amazon can deliver within days with no problems you think a company that is doing its best to try stay afloat in this digital age would do its damdest to try and keep customers happy?!

Avoid AT ALL COSTS!

I placed an order on the 27th of November, money was taken from my account. It is now the 19th of December, and after two unanswered emails to customer care I’m still waiting for my order!

I ordered product online on Saturday and when I went pay by debit card, It asked me to authenticate payment with my bank. It jumped back to homepage and my order remained in the checkout. I attempted order again and same happened. I checked to see order status was no order placed. I then gave up and taught no more of it until I checked my account the next day, to find both payments had been taken from my account. I attempted contacting them by phone, e-mail and on the online contact form. No reply and busy line.
I have reported them to my bank and the Garda
Fraud squad as this is unacceptable behaviour.
I suggest everyone else do the same and log complaints with the consumer protection agency and the media.
Otherwise, you may never see your goods or money

No delivery of items ordered and no replys to the many emails I sent

Made an order with Easons on Friday for the same item that has still not arrived from HMV. Order from Eason was dispatched Saturday, email with tracker for order. Order was delivered to my door this morning. Still no sign of the order from HMV made over 3 weeks ago...

That was on the 30th of Nov, that was 18 days ago, I have tried to contact them for anything using their help page multiple times and nothing.

Utterly shocking service - I'm just raging that I didn't read all the reviews before placing an order with this crowd. Ordered dvds on November 26th for a Christmas present - the payment was processed on Nov 30th and I'm still waiting for delivery! Like all the other people in similar reviews below, I've contacted them multiple times via their online 'Contact Us' form, which presumably just goes to some bottomless pit, as I've yet to receive a response. I also tried calling their listed contact number multiple times (0044 20 39122077), but it constantly reaches a busy line. Their Refunds line (00442039122079) just goes directly to voicemail. I'm still waiting for a response to the voicemail I left! I just called Tower Records & they have the dvds in-store. I wish I'd checked with them first. Do NOT order anything from hmv.ie - you'll pay for something that you'll never receive!

Thought I was in good time ordering Christmas presents x3 weeks ago off HMV..looks like I was WRONG as im still waiting for them. Had to order the exact same items off Amazon. If my items do eventually arrive, i'll be sending them right back. No Customer Service, they just brush you off. Won't be ordering from HMV again.

Got email saying dispatched last Friday and will arrive in 1-2 working days. After a week waiting, still no sign of order to come....

Ordered DVD 21st Nov , still not arrived. Have emailed HMV 7 , yes 7 times , had 1 response basically telling me they are very busy at this time of the year !

Just received email confirming my refund . Two separate orders lost .

My order was supposed to have been dispatched on 2nd December. I have contacted hmv 4 times with no response to query as to where my order is or today about refund. I paid by debit card so I don't know if I will get my money back. Shoddy company, no customer service and fraudulent if no refund. Not hopeful. Stay well away from hmv they will take your money and ghost you.

Unbelievably bad service - well no service at all i should say - order placed on the 19th nov 2017 , email recieved on 21st nov 2017 saying order processed and will be delievered within 3-7 working days - nothing else recieved , neither my purchase or any other correspondence - have emailed them over 5 times with no reply and the contact number mailbox is full - wont give me the option of leaving a message on FB either - This is either a fraulent website or HMV are an out and out shower of rip off merchants - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON THIS WEBSITE

Seems to be a trend wit hmv Ireland 😕
Ordered a lot of 4k uhd s and there sent since 30th November.
Now it’s the 12th December and I just know there not coming.
Does anyone have numbers for customer service?
Tried email but they obviously don’t check that.
Surely,what there doing can’t be legal?
Any ideas how to get my money back?

Still waiting for my DVD's ordered and paid for on the 21st November 2017. No response from hmv.ie to my emails.

HMV is the worst business I've ever dealt with. 3 emails sent no response back. Sent them messages on Facebook but they took it down and blocked me, messaged on Instagram and twitter and nothing bk. I've ordered dvds they took my money but no order received and they cannot be contacted what so ever. People don't buy off them cause u won't get ur order, absolutely disgraceful

Hi all on here, I also have had a bad experience with hmv ireland having placed an order on the 31st of October; but today I got an email from them today saying "We been a little caught out by volume of messages, however we have a new 'phone service on the way from Friday, new members of staff being trained, and a Livechat option being added to the site, very soon." This was after pestering them since November and then contacting hmv uk who told me they have absolutely nothing to do with hmv ireland but did pass my issue onto a contact in Ireland and me contacting the CCPC. I have been given a refund which should appear within a few days and they said my order had "obviously gone missing in the post"- but surely that is not what is happening to all these people who are complaining about the exact same thing, we must have a very dishonest Postal system then. Don't know if this gives encouragement to anyone but it turns out there is someone on the other end we just can't contact them.

Would give a -1 review if I could.
Still waiting for an order that was placed 15 days ago - supposed to arrive between 3 to 7 days. No reply to emails, contact numbers on the website don't work. Never ordering again.
