It is best that your never trust…

It is best that your never trust anything on this website, nor post anything here.
There is no way to edit or update your review and all the reviews are paid for with Amazon gift cards.
Full of bots. Absolutely untrustworthy website.
Hopefully, the company just dies and fades away with the rest of the owners investment.

Google doesn't need to offer amazon vouchers for review. You'll always find more honest reviews of buildings on Google.

While Google Reviews are useful, we find that actively sourcing reviews from as wide a range of residents as possible gives the most balanced, accurate view of a building. Our reviews are also carefully verified – unlike Google's – so you know that reviewer lives in the building being reviewed. Our reviews also allow for 18 different elements of the lived experience to be rated and reviewed, making them considerably more detailed than Google's. Great service from HomeViews

HomeViews was extremely useful in aiding my research when looking for a new home. Once I moved I was more than happy to leave a review of my new building and the services offered. I received a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank you promptly after writing my review.

Amazing

We used Homeviews when we were considering moving to a newly built estate and wanted to know more about the quality and longevity of the houses we were looking at.

Using Homeviews was fantastic as it meant we could make an informed decision and ensure we were making the right choice for our young family for the years to come. We were able to read real homeowners experiences of the exact houses we were looking at which was so important to us in the buying process.

Overall - incredibly useful, easy to use and a great user experience.

Don’t wast your time

I would not give this company 1 star
If I could.
I’m not sure why people waste there
Time with company’s like this.
Developers ask them to place good reviews, not bad ones.
Bad reviews don’t sale property’s
I had the same problem when I purchased my new home.

Would provide zero stars if possible. I was promised a free £10 Amazon voucher if I left a review, I have apparently received my voucher, but can only access it through making an account on their site, I have tried to do this but I never get a confirmation email allowing me to confirm my account. They have taken my review and refused to assist on getting me my voucher. I have reached out to them on info @homeviews.com yet they have not replied for over a week.

Don't waste your time with these scam artists.

Me and my partner were told that we would get a £10 voucher if we completed reviews for where we live. It’s been almost two weeks since and no word. I’ve emailed them several times and they never get back to me! Very disappointed.

Thank you for wasting my time

Dear residents,
Do not waste your time like I did.

For some reason, HomeViews has decided that, in spite of having provided a genuine opinion and having sent a PoA (twice) as required for verification, I was not eligible for the "Every (!) verified resident review at each of the developments will receive a £10 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card".
Of course, they could not even bother explaining the reason for that.
Thank you for wasting my time, I will make sure I won't make this mistake again.

Pathetic service

I’ve written a review and I didn’t receive any voucher. Firstly I was told that it is for the 10 first reviews for the developer (for all the developments in aggregrate). When I forwarded them the offer which clearly states it is for 10 first reviews on each development they changed their speech and said the offer expired in 2021 when my development is new!! Really pathetic. I should have read other reviews before wasting time time on this

Review for £10 Amazon..

Was asked to write a review about the estate I live on in exchange for £10 Amazon voucher, spent a considerable amount of time giving an honest review.. received an email back asking to verify I was a resident and to send back personal information to prove I was a resident, - did not send as I didn't feel comfortable with that - then another email to say I didn't qualify.

Sorry to hear that you have had a negative experiencing with HomeViews.

To ensure our reviews remain accurate and reliable we aim to verify the residence of every review submitted, these reviews are trusted more by our community.

In order to verify a resident, we ask each reviewer for their name and address. Our tech partner then automatically tries to match these details across a variety of different information, for example: credit headers and the electoral roll. However, in some cases they might not be able to find a match, for example: if the resident has moved in recently or the development is new.

In these cases, we send an email to ask the resident to email across some proof of residence, in the form of a photograph of any letter, bill, or document they have received that contains their name and address.

The reason why we only offer vouchers to verified residents is because we have had instances in the past where one resident will try to claim multiple vouchers, to ensure this doesn't happen and the process remains fair to all, we only issue vouchers to verified residents.

This information should have been communicated to you at various points whilst leaving your review. On the postcard that you received, on the promotion page and in your confirmation email are just some examples of this.
