I have reached out to Hormann via email and Instagram to see how to resolve the issue, no response. Have some pride in your products Hormann!

A Hormann door less than 1 year old.
Multiple issues.
Motor fails.
Door curtain scratched to hell.
6 months and issues still not rectified.
Fitted by a reputable company and they have been given the runaround by Hormann.
Initially Hormann denied all responsibility.
Been waiting months for a new curtain.
A new motor as well.
Getting close to taking this further.
No where worth the £2k we paid for a 3rd rate door/service.

Ich habe ein Sektionaltor der Fa. Hörmann, und bin bis heute sehr zufrieden, heute hat mein Sektionaltor sich durch den strengen Frost am Boden festgeklebt und ließ sich nicht mehr öffnen. Nach dem Lösen des Gummis am Boden funktionierte der Antrieb aber nicht mehr richtig, und irgendwie hatte sich nach der Hand entriegelung etwas ausgehangen. Nach telefonischer Anfrage wurde mir die Telefonnummer für den zuständigen Service mitgeteilt den ich auch sofort am Telefon hatte, und der sehr nette Mitarbeiter hat mit mir das Problem in kürzester Zeit gelöst!! Und ich bin nicht vom Fach. Dafür möchte ich mich nochmals ganz ganz herzlich bedanken bei dem netten Herrn. So stelle ich mir einen perfekten Kundenservice. Mfg ein zufriedener Kunde

Generally Hormann UK try to steer you to their approved installers to deal with any issues, however when that process fails they do step up to help. Leanne was very quick to assist with a goodwill offer which means that the issue with my door will now be fixed. Thanks Leanne.

Hormann response was speedy and professional when the installer proved very difficult to contact after installation. My garage door was "clunky" when opening and closing when I expected a smooth process - adjoining roller guide section transitions were not aligned well. The issue was resolved reasonably well and other issues addressed as well. The Hormann input seemed be the critical event to get a response and action from the installer.

I had concerns that the coating on my garage door had failed and specs of rust were developing on the surface. Leanne assured me that the most likely explanation was that someone had used a grinder close to the door and fragments of metal had become embedded in the coating and had rusted. I described the problem to my brother who manufactures coated steel product and he immediately said that it sounded like someone had been using an angle grinder near my door and had seen the problem many times!
Leanne sent me a complimentary care kit to restore the finish and I appreciate this gesture.

I purchased a very expensive garage door (over £2,200) with a 10 year warranty. After less than 2 years the wires running up the side of the door stopped working because a bearing failed. I rang the supplier and was told that repair was over £300 as the warranty was invalid! No-one told me that the warranty was dependent on a £150 yearly service. The door had been used under 150 times! Now the fun really started:
During the following winter the door was out of action until the new wires were finally replaced - £310.00
The door worked for about a month and then the the electric motor failed - replacement - an eye watering £1122!
After the usual delay of several weeks the part arrived and the fitters attempted to fit it to my door - my original part had been superseded and did not work with the new one.
Another long delay.
Eventually the part was fitted and all is working BUT:
The only original part is the roller itself.
I gave 2* as the motor (when working) is quiet and faster than my neighbours.
Would I buy or replace it with another if it fails again - absolutely not. I could have bought 2 doors for the price of this unit and had much better service.

Fantastic response from Leanne in Customer Service. Very prompt, friendly and knowlegeable. Love my doors. Have had them - garage and front - since January 2019 with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I just contacted them about cleaning the doors and the response was immediate and comprehensive.

Be very wary of purchasing a Hormann garage door. Both the manufacturer and garage doors lancashire are terrible. The quality is not as advertised. They use the 10 year warranty to attract customers to buy the product however when it doesn’t last even 3 years they use a small clause in the warranty to get out of fixing it. The warranty is clearly written carefully here to prevent the customer having any come back when the product will inevitably not last as it is advertised. Especially when spending over 1000 pounds. If I could give it 0 I would. Do not buy either a Hormann garage door or from Garage doors Lancashire Both have extremely poor customer service. They claim that we damaged/didnt maintain our garage door, Yet they came out to rectify it the first time so this is clearly untrue. The second time they used it as a get out clause to not rectify the poor quality of their products. AVOID!!

As it’s not possible to leave a zero star review, I have to grudgingly give a one star ….. again….
I find it most irritating and frustrating when those in ‘customer relations’ do not seem to be able to read and/or compute what the issues actually are when a complaint is made. Reading beyond the first sentence is usually necessary, but it seems they are incapable of this simple task. My issues with Hormann were many - only one has been addressed, and that wasn’t by rectifying the fault. We are still left with a front door which doesn’t keep the rain out!! Meanwhile, our back door is equally useless at keeping weather out, but Hormann don’t seem to be able to grasp the idea that THIS has not been dealt with!! I keep getting told that they have done all they can, which is utter nonsense because the back door problem has NOT been addressed by them, no matter how many times I have tried! Leanne and the team need to go back to training………or school.

I agreed with Hormann directly that I'd upgrade my rating on successful completion of the fix.
Our door has now been repaired, successfully I hope, due to pressure from Hormann on their "dealer"
Unfortunately despite the part to be delivered on the Thursday, the dealer claimed to not have received until late on Friday afternoon and wanted to come @7pm to fit it, this was another lie after saying part had jus arrived, he then lied about the engineer having the part and saying he'd come straight up after completion of his current job, to achieve that he must have referred it to him by helicopter as he also claimed engineer was an hour away from office....
As we were off out and been let down by them many times before, I requested a daytime appointment only, he wasn't happy. Guy eventually turned up mid-afternoon Saturday.
We're moving house in next few months, we'll be renewing windows and doors, Hormann sadly wont be getting any of that business sadly due the quality of their crappy dealers and their continuous incompetence and lies - shameful behaviour
Been waiting 3 months on a spare front door seal, between incompetence, outright lies and poor service it's still not fixed. They're "local" agents are terrible, always fobbing off, always promising to phone back -in 3 months they have never called me once - I have to call them every single time

My garage door was installed and few years ago. Suddenly at weekend it wouldn't open. I then found out that the original installer had retired. So because it was still under the 10 year guarantee, I contacted Hörmann directly to see if they could help. They have agreed to pay for another installer who fixed it, so very happy 😊, thank you

We had a front door installed 2 years ago. Feb 24 the door warped in the cold and would not shut. Since then we have had a constant battle with the door supplier and Hormann to replace it. Eventually Hormann attended site in Nov 24, confirmed the door was not up to their usual standard and promised an accelerated replacement, early January 25 No more contact from them. We have chased countless time and they still don't respond. So we have had 2 x winter with a freezing cold house and a door that doesn't close properly. Do not buy from Hormann. We spent a lot of money on a door that is not fit for purpose and customer service that does not exists.

I had my Hormann front door for about 7 years or more, The first three years was great then the paint started chipping off which hormone replaced the front door which was great, But in the last two years the rain comes in the front door somewhere we have changed the gaskets on the side panel which worked but now the rain is coming in under the door. The hallway carpet is always wet this is very frustrating as it’s been going on for years, I am on the second porch carpet.A Hormann Engineer will come out but wants to charge me £500 plus that just to look at it, This door was not cheap nearly £4000 and wouldn’t expect the problems I have been getting with a solid steel front door. Is there anyone out there? It can help?
