Had the pleasure of dealing with Zoe Lindsay while looking for a new car and I cannot thank her enough, I know nothing about cars or the process and she couldn’t of been more helpful or patient with me, she went above and beyond deffo a credit to the team! Thanks again Zoe :)

Recently purchased a used car. The whole process was seamless thanks to John. A few niggles before pick up were sorted efficiently. The car did develop some problems a few days later which to their credit they sorted, even taking it to a main dealership at no expense to me. The whole team who didn't dodge my phone calls or palm me off (even out of hours) are a credit to the Howards dealership.

From start to finish, we were looked after through the whole process. Howard’s is somewhere I felt in safe and trusted hands regarding costs, features and, in particular, value for money. They were upfront about commissions and offered beneficial add-ons.

Fantastic service. After many visits to various dealerships due to a new experience of buying an electric car, Martin Joseph from Howard’s Peugeot Taunton was extremely informative and made this whole experience of buying a new car a pleasure. Martin was Incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help with this. Would highly recommend if you are looking at buying a Peugeot and moving forward to changing to electric. I went in to just review the cars and Carl was such a great help. He went through the selection of cars and really helped me work out which car would work best for me.

Highly recommend the garage and Carl as a salesman.

First time buying a car from here, and it was a great experience! Jack Clare was such a big help, he explained everything and made sure that I understood every step of the process. The people here were very thorough in making sure that the car I was buying was of the best quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone buying a car.

The staff at Kia Taunton are fabulous. Called me to book my service and MOT, extremely professional. All done whilst waiting in the reception. Sales also took an awful amount of time talking me through the new EV6, and giving me an excellent overview. Well done all at Kia Taunton.

Very poor quality of service since Howards have taken over
We booked our 2 year old car in for it’s annual service at Howards Kia Taunton and explained that we were having problems with both rear door handles sticking causing the doors to remain unlocked when driving off (very dangerous). We arrived early at the showroom as we entered we were immediately approached at the front door and asked if we would like to look at new models with a view to changing our current car. Next at the service desk we were called by a completely different name, we left the car having been told a time that it would be finished. We arrived back half an hour early to find the car parked at the front of the garage supposedly finished. At the service desk we had a run through exactly what had been done, after the main essential had been covered we were told that they couldn’t check the tyres properly as we had metal valve caps fitted and it would cost £400.00 if when removing the valve caps damage occurred. Now exactly the same valve caps went through the service on that car at the same garage last year, in fact I had removed them from my previous Kia that had been serviced many times at that same garage without any problems (before Howards took over from the previous Garage owner) very strange I took my car to my local garage to confirm that this was a problem only to be told the caps are fine as the are made of coloured plastic (Not Metal) and perfectly ok. I then asked had they checked the spare wheel the answer was no as it had no spare wheel. Now the man I was speaking to had in fact in the past given me the part number for the replacement spare wheel that was now in the car. It was completely obvious that the hadn’t even checked or opened the boot of the car. He then said that they had sorted the rear door handles out and they were now working perfectly. On the way home we stopped off at a shop and when opened A rear door it was still not closing properly exactly the same problem we were experiencing before the service. In the past I I have had similar problems with Howards Honda, and Peugeot hence I moved over to Kia without any problems until now that Howards have taken over. The entire experience at Howards was awful it seemed as if the staff were unhappy and under pressure my car was obviously rushed through the service leaving important issues unattended. And new issues found without proper investigation. It’s such a shame as I was very happy with the garage when under the previous ownership it was a completely different experience. It would seem they are under pressure to invent problems to save time. I will be looking for an alternative garage in the future.

Abysmal. My car was recovered from roadside and taken to Howards Kia 5 weeks ago with water damage, luckily my cam belt was intact according to the recovery specialists. Since it was delivered to Howards in Taunton I have had no update whatsoever and each time I call I either get cut off, promised a call back, or told that the servicing "guy is all on his own today" (my problem of course). I was never offered a courtesy car and so far its costed me hundreds in cancelled business visits and taxi fares. I'm also in the middle of moving house so this couldn't have come at a worse time. Howards do not deserve any servicing franchise because they clearly can't cope with any resonable workload. Service is worse than glacial and totally unresponsive. Not a nice feeling getting FOBBED off every time I call. If I could take away stars I totally would. Awful. And isn't it funny how the Taunton location isn't on the list here.

I booked my car in for an mot and service and was called telling me it failed the mot and it was beyond economic repair but they had carried out the service so needed to pay £220 as the engineer decided to do that first for his convenience. I was then forced to pay to get my vehicle back. This makes no sense as a process !!!!! I feel this was bad practice and unethical business practices. Contrary to the reply below I have not talked to anyone from the business and nothing has happened to change my response

First time dealing with a car dealer and I must say I had a great experience.

Greg, the salesperson, ensured I had all the information I needed about the car I wanted and held my hand every step of the way until I got my car delivered.

The driver, Kevin, who delivered my car, arrived ahead of schedule and was also very courteous.

The experience of buy our first new car in 30 years was a breeze and Charlie made it so easy and is a credit to Howard’s and can’t recommend him highly enough.
