Ordered a replacement battery two years…
Ordered a replacement battery two years ago but the original battery started working again. Replacement battery was stored properly but failed to work when I installed it. Unable to get it to charge. Contacted Hplaptopbattery and they responded quickly. As I was already aware, the warranty had expired. HPlaptopbattery was able to provide me with a replacement battery, which I received after a short waiting period. Installed the battery and the laptop fired up without being plugged in. I am currently charging the battery, per their instructions, and noticed that the battery lasts longer than the one in my newer laptop. The person who I dealt with via email responded quickly, was pleasant, and able to resolve my issue quickly. Something that is lacking in many companies today. A BZ to Hplaptopbattery.

If it looks damaged/abnormal return ASAP
So when I originally got the battery I noticed a little notch in it and didn't think anything of it. Swapped the battery out of my HP and got the new one in. It charged for a bit and then my computer wouldn't turn on even while plugged in. Switched back to the old battery and nothing. Fast forward months later and I dropped my laptop off to be repaired professionally with the old battery in it. We plugged it in and it managed to get power and turn on. I assume after sitting for a long time the power fully dissipated and rebooted the system however, still having the newer battery I wanted to have it installed anyway. They later revealed that the notch was a sign of damage and it had a sweet smell coming from it. After initially getting the battery I did take pictures of it with the notch just in case but either way, it's too late now.
It's my fault for not handling this sooner or returning the battery unfortunately at the first sign that something might be up I recommend anyone purchasing a battery to just return it if it seems to have any amount of damage. I thought I did something wrong in swapping the battery which wasn't the real issue.
I'm giving two stars because maybe if I returned the battery after the initial receipt and with the images customer service MIGHT have helped me resolve this.

Nice to find a battery for an older computer
It was very nice to find a battery for my older HP Windows 8 computer. It fit well and charged up in about 90 minutes. Battery life was about 4 hours as a stand-alone and not plugged in. I was hoping for a bit longer. Just happy to have it working again. I will try closing other apps that might be drawing on the battery that I do not need.

Received this replacement battery for HP pavilion 15cd40wm
Received this replacement battery for my HP Pavilion laptop, which had been giving me warning notice on startup that the original battery was failing. Finally found the correct battery replacement on this site and ordered it. Came in the mail yesterday, after somewhat of a wait, and I was able to remove the old battery and install the replacement without too much difficulty. I had reviewed several videos on line pertaining on how to change out the battery which made the process easier. I left the laptop off and charged the battery overnight. I did get a Cmos notice on startup but let the laptop do its thing and it booted up after a few minutes without problems. My old battery on examination was in a bad state, swollen and bulging. Glad I was able to get this replacement to avoid a dangerous situation
