Top Quality Training
Just completed my Instructional Techniques course with Anthony Duddin.
Having been on a number of courses over the past 10 years around the lifting industries I have to say I was highly impressed all round with this one.
Facilities were clean, tidy and warm for the classroom part and the area for the practical was the same.
The course content was clear and concise and Anthony’s presentation of it was excellent, along with his knowledge of the course more importantly was his insights from years of instruction that really shone through and I was able to gather some really good tips and pointers from him.
All in all the course and instructor were top quality and would be happy to refer anyone to them.

I enjoyed the training experience. Al was very engaging and kept the training very informative and fun. The course was interactive and I learnt a lot about the key skills required in confined spaces. The practical facility was very good.

Stacey at HSS training had 72 hours to…
HSS training had 72 hours to change a course from advance to begineer. Same date same course.
After the 72 hours she then informed me the course had been fully booked. She also dodnt book me a course as she was unsure which one i wanted. Even though i confirmed this with her 1 hour after our first intial conversation. I had a job lined up the following monday.
As a result of her incompetance and shear laziness i have now lost that job oppertuinity and have been out of work for 3 weeks rather then the intial 1 week. Please never book through HSS extrmemely unprofessional.

Thankyou for your review - all feedback helps us improve. Sorry to hear you weren't pleased with the service.
I have taken a look over the correspondence and can see the Agent picked up the original booking enquiry as quickly as possible; however placed the booking on hold following your concerns this was not the correct course for you. We received your notification to switch course lines to 'Novice' on Friday evening - unfortunately at a time after Business Hours for the provider.
When picked up first thing Monday, unfortunately the course was fully booked, as it is open to customers across the UK over the weekend.
The Novice version of the course is in fact two days in length, with Experienced only one. Due to this, Novice courses do not share the same schedule as the Experienced courses - this means even in the case the Experienced date had been available, this would not have been the course you requested, nor would it have shared the day with the Novice training you required.
Usually the process is quick and simple, and my apologies this was not necessarily the case this time. Now that all parties are clear on the training required, we would be more than happy to help get you booked on and ensure everything runs smoothly - something I am confident the Agent was trying to achieve! A full refund has of course been processed for the cancelled booking.

Misleading information about the site. Google maps says it’s permanently closed doesn’t mention this on joining instructions. Had homework every night again not mentioned in the joining instructions. The home work is not an issue if I had known about it I could have swopped my family and personal commitments around.Lots of errors in the CITB book. Friendly instructor with great knowledge and experience. Signing in sheet for fire register sheet was full no spares no master copy and no ink in the printer to to print out a new one.
