If you’re considering using Hubbl, do yourself a favour and think twice.
My experience has been nothing short of appalling, and it raises serious questions about how this company operates. Without my knowledge or consent, my Kayo subscription was mysteriously “upgraded” to a more expensive premium plan. At no point did I knowingly authorise this change. There was no clear confirmation, no transparent consent process—just a higher charge appearing out of nowhere.
When I raised the issue, expecting a straightforward fix, I was met with a dismissive and frankly insulting response. Hubbl claimed the upgrade was valid and brushed it off as a “change of mind.” That’s not just wrong—it completely ignores the core issue: this was an unauthorised change, not buyer’s remorse.
It gets worse. Instead of resolving the issue, they went ahead and cancelled my subscription entirely—again, without my request. So not only was I charged more for something I didn’t agree to, but I was then cut off from the service I had legitimately paid for in the first place.
Customer service? Practically non-existent. Multiple attempts to resolve the issue—over weeks—resulted in nothing meaningful. No proper explanation, no accountability, no resolution. Just delays, deflection, and a complete lack of care.
At best, this is incompetence. At worst, it feels like a deliberate system designed to extract more money from customers while making it as difficult as possible to challenge it.
For a company operating in Australia, this kind of behaviour falls well below what consumers should expect. Transparency, consent, and basic customer support shouldn’t be optional extras—they’re the bare minimum.
Bottom line: poor product, worse service, and business practices that are highly questionable. Proceed with extreme caution.

Terrible experience, never again will I use this streaming service. They do not allow you to unsubscribe, even contacting the help department three times as not solved the problem. I am literally going to the bank on Monday to instruct them to block them. Disgusting, do not take them up on their free week offer, it's a trap.

Hubbl Trap: Continued Billing Despite Confirmed Cancellation

Cancelled my Kayo subscription via the Hubbl app portal with clear confirmation, but continued to be charged for months despite no usage from my end. Raised with their support team and they refused to take ownership, then stopped responding entirely to multiple follow-ups.

This matches numerous similar complaints online about failed cancellations and poor support. Feels like a deliberate subscription trap breaching Australian Consumer Law.

Just took 179.00 after trying to get my money back for last 12 months of no service and no customer service and cancel so I didn’t have to deal with them again BUT cancelling seems to be a non option
If you don’t provide the service how can you charge money for it😡😡😡
Where on earth is consumer affairs ect and what on earth are they doing with the complaints 🤨🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😡😡😡
And the date of the experience 😳 was just over 12 months which has cost more than 300.00 endless frustration and no viewing time 😡😡😡

Avoid Hubbl at all costs. Have given them one star only because you can't give zero or negative. Easily the most frustrating useless piece of "technology" I have had the misfortune of dealing with and most definitely the worst "Support" (been very generous with that description) that you're ever likely to encounter. Don't say you weren't warned if you read this and then go out and waste your money.

Fortunately my credit card had expired. Be very careful with this mob because you may not have unsubscribed when you thought you unsubscribed. Easy to join much harder to get out of.

Dont bother using Hubbl,,,if there is any other way to watch the streaming you need,,,go elsewhere,,there serivice is the worst i have come accross, extremely poor customer service and no help at all, one massive waste of time dealing with hubbl just to watch Kayo

This is an absolutely disgraceful and unethical company.

The cancellation process is intentionally complicated and frustrating. Even after cancelling the subscription, the charges continue to be withdrawn from customers’ bank accounts. This raises serious concerns and gives the strong impression of deceptive and predatory business practices.

Taking money from customers after cancellation is unacceptable and deeply damaging to trust. A company that treats its customers this way will inevitably lose its reputation and credibility.

I demand an immediate investigation into this matter, a full refund of all unauthorized charges, and written confirmation that my subscription has been permanently cancelled.

If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to consumer protection authorities and dispute the charges with my bank.

Use a third party subscription service (Apple, Google)

You get locked out of your account if you move overseas, go on holiday, or use a vpn for work. If you're locked out, you can't login to cancel your subscription. You also can't access their support page, and there's nothing on the site or during sign up warning you can't cancel online if you're out of the country. They expect people to call to cancel like it's the 1980s :/

The company is corrupt to the core. The service constantly doesn't work and when it does it would either discount you or prompt you to login again or even change the program to another program whilst you are watching, a complete joke.

I cancelled my subscription twice, first time they begged to come back and offerred another month for $1 dollar so I decided to give them another go, but still the same problems and cancelled it again.

But they decided they didn't get enough money out of me and changed me for another full month after the cancellation.

They have no competition and government do nothing even after complaint after complaint.

Hard to cancel

Hard to cancel. Deceptive and confusing emails make it hard to understand whether you actually have cancelled, even though you’ve pressed the cancel and confirm button 10 times. Bad practice

Won't cancel my subscription…

I have cancelled my subscription several times and each time they reinstate it and try to charge my account. I can't delete my credit card and had to empty that account to stop them from charging me without authorization.

People be aware Hubbl are charging you sometimes twice and if you don’t watch the bank account you won’t realise it’s happening. I’ve been overcharged twice once in November and once in December I’ve put a formal complaint in asking for a refund and still nothing back from them, they are nothing but thieves. My suggestion to everybody is find something else other than Hubbl to get your sport or anything else you’re looking for they will steal your money and when it comes to refunding your money yhey don’t want nothing to do with you. Very very poor service very poor customer service

Don’t waste your money

Hubbl has recently decided to cancel bundle discounts (the more channels subscribed to, the greater the discount), which was a major incentive for purchasing the Hubbl device compared to just using individual apps.
They have now just announced that one of my favourite channels (Lifestyle) will be cancelled in the next month.
A terrible waste of money and a disappointing experience.

When there is a problem you have to email or chat with them, I have spent 3 years subscribing and one time I need help they can't call me back?
So I have cancelled my subscription today.
