Same problem as everyone has here
Bought a Weber grill on amazon, initial delivery was 07/23 3pm and I had to be at home.
No message nothing and on 7/23 i found out that the delivery was delayed to 7/26, no message again, I reached out to NSD and had only rude costumer service on the phone and got kicked out 10 times from the chat.
New delivery was 8/02 2pm and again no message no one showed up, when I talked to NSD again they lied at me and said they don´t have the item and don´t know where it is, but their own tracking system showed me that they have the package since 07/31.
New delivery was set for 08/06 2pm and again no message no one showed up.
Reached out to NSD and Amazon and both parties worked only with excuses and refunds for the item.
I got the grill 40% off with prime deals and Amazon seriously offered me to refund it and I have to order it again for the current price without 40% prime deal off. Worst order for me ever.
Pretty much the same issue that the majority here has posted. Purchased a Kayak from Amazon. Tracking says its been at their local facility since July 15. Its now July 30. Every follow up ended with "we will escalate"
Amazon contacted them and they said they were unable to locate the item. Its a 10.5 foot Kayak packaged in plastic wrap, how can you lose that.
Zero star should be an option. They have had my furniture for more than 2 weeks now & I’ve been lied to about scheduled delivery dates, to now simply saying they’re escalating my request & someone will contact me within 24/48 hours. I call just about everyday & this is the only answer I’m given. This company is a complete scam
Ordered a large package from Amazon and hub group was used for their shipping. Ordered on June 11 was sent to their “Des Moines” warehouse June 18 and today is currently July 18. I’ve called and called numerous times and used their live chat all they give you is we’ll escalate this. A driver called July 3rd said he has to turn around due to closed roads for flooding and he marked it as delivered that same day and I keep calling and telling them it wasn’t delivered but they have yet to change that it’s NOT DELIVERED. This company is nothing but thief’s. Something needs to be done about this company I’m reading way to many bad reviews that sound similar to mine.
Wayfair scheduled return with them 3 times. Once I didn't get confirmation number (could be Wayfair's fault) and then no-one showed up. Second time HubGroup deleted the scheduled pickup as they said there was erroneously filled from by Wayfair. If it's erroneous, why don't they call their client to fix instead of deleting it?
Third time they didn't show up at all, the item was left for them in front of the apartment door, they didn't take it, no-one came.
Despite the corporate response, nothing has been resolved. With a lot of work, fourth time they managed to pick up the return on July 31st, however they were going to go to the wrong address. I had to coordinate with Hubgroup to correct Wayfair's error yet again. It's August 22nd now and still no refund.
We purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot. It was to be delivered on 7/10 between 8-noon. My husband saw the truck pull up and went to unplug our fridge. I get a call from the company (Emily Cleveland) saying the drivers knocked but there was no answer. We never heard a knock and they didn't ring the doorbell. I was on the phone with her as they drove off. I verified the address, it was correct. She said perhaps they were driving around the block. They never came back, I called Emily's number that her call came from about 10 times, my daughter called 6 times after me, it never was answered. I called Home Depot, they were of no help because it was a third party. they tried to call the company, but when they finally answered it was immediately disconnected. I canceled my purchase and will not buy from Home Depot again, unless they can guarantee this company will not be the ones delivering.
If I could give them less than one star I would. I Ordered three huge pantries from Home Depot. They picked the delivery day And four hr delivery window. I was able to take the time off work but they never showed up. I spent two days making a lot of phone calls just for Hubgroup to send a message/request to have the delivery people call me to reschedule. Of course they didn’t.
They automatically sent me a new schedule date, which didn’t work for me. Spend another day trying to get that delivery canceled. When I finally was able to get it scheduled for my day off , they came an hour and a half past my delivery window. All three of my pantries were damaged. Parts of the protective cardboard were missing off of two of the pantries and the white pantry underneath was dirty and paint was chipped off in spots. They couldn’t be stood up so they stacked these 200 pound pantries on top of each other. I kept pointing out that the boxes were dirty and damaged and the only response was I got was call Home Depot customer service. They wouldn’t help me spread them out on the ground so I can actually open them up and inspect them. They were not helpful in any way, even though I paid extra to have the pantries brought into the house .
They don’t call if they’re late or not able to show up. Hub group has no idea what their contracted delivery drivers are doing or where they are in their route. You get the runaround and never get a straight answer. They Tell you the delivery people are going to call you but the delivery people don’t . Poor communication with their contractors. And what they tell you contradicts What’s going to happen with the delivery company. I have called Home Depot multiple times over the last couple weeks complaining about their contracted delivery service. You never get any resolution or information on why things didn’t follow through like they said they would. The contracted delivery service does give you plenty of automated calls, text and emails. But when you try to talk to real person, they never answered the phone. When you tell HD, how disappointed you are with them and the people they contract with, it’s dead silence. I needed to return an item purchased from Wayfair, this is the company that they assigned to do the pickup. I was sent an email to schedule pickup from them, I selected the day and time for pickup btwn 9-12p. 12p came and went, I called the number in the email the voice recording couldn't put me through to a real person because it couldn't I.D. the tracking number they provided me with. So I went to the chat section, after waiting 20 mins for someone to come on the line, they asked for all of this info (which I thought the tracking number was for), then said that they show my pickup scheduled from 6p-10p!!! WTH, I would never schedule anything that late, on top of that I never received an email or call stating the change in pickup time, once I questioned this with the chat person Carolyn H, of course she couldn't help and said that that is what it shows, then disconnected.
If I could have given them a -1 review score I would have.
Horrific service. Period, Please when ordering large items from Amazon, Home Depot or even Wayfair make sure your delivery is not coming by one of their bought up little freight companies. The run around is like a maze and making up delivery stories is beyond. They even tell or report that they deliver the items when they never even attempted. In my case they say I asked for a reschedule after an attempted delivery. I did not. I did not sit here on a Saturday just to call them and say hey lets change this to a weekday when I work --- and customer service just hangs up on you as they did with HD three times.
I ordered a large item from Amazon that was set to be delivered in 4 different shipments and subsidiary of Hub Group NSD was slated by Amazon to deliver my packages. I was notified by email that they were set to delivery my shipment Nov 22. The email said I needed to click on the link provided to confirm the delivery data and time. I did not confirm and tried to call the company to pick a different delivery date. No answer. I then received a call on the 22nd from the delivery driver who stated he was at my house for the delivery I did not confirm and without a phone call 30 minutes prior, which could have allowed me time to have a neighbor/friend accept and sign for the package. I told him to just leave the boxes at my door, which he did not. On Nov 27th I received an email from Amazon and NSD stating that my delivery was completed that morning at 9:38 am. SO I tried calling the company, no answer. Later that day I began a chat on the company website, the person I was chatting with stated that they would need to do a dock sweep/investigation to see where my items were and that it would take 24-72 hours to complete. 72 hours later I follow up on a new chat on the company website and the new person tells me that they would need to do a dock swap and it would take another 72 hours. I explained that was exactly why I was contacting them...for an update. Turns out the initial dock swap investigation was not "ordered" I now see on their website that they have documented that they received a signed document for a complete delivery..... I contacted Amazon to let them know the issue, the options I received was wait another 72 hours or be reimbursed and if I reorder stand the chance of this terrible "service" to be given the job to deliver once again....
If I could give them less than a star I would. Let’s start off that is company is absolutely horrible to have as a delivery service. Some major concerns were first off that the communication was completely off. My husband and I would call and we would always get a different answer to where our package was. They informed us that they could not contact the driver directly and they did not know where the package was. They also would schedule deliveries for dates not confirmed and okay with us due to the fact we had to have someone there to sign for the package. The customer service was also rude on numerous occasions. My husband asked to talk to management and they flat out told him no. We also had 4 different delivery dates with no package showing up. They finally told us after the last time we called that they really didn’t know where our package was and that it was probably lost. We canceled the delivery that way the manufacturer could get there product back but I have yet to receive a confirmation email to say it has been cancelled. I highly recommend that no one uses this company for any shipping or delivery needs they are horrible.
If you get stuck with this delivery company you're screwed. Was scheduled for a delivery, never came, tracking admitted they didnt come and then next day, they changed tracking to dishonestly say it was delivered. Cant reach anyone on the phone or live chat.
I guess they are to big to deal with a customer of Home Depot. They either use or own a firm call Nonstop Delivery. Same there, the rep they gave me there, William Bavey doesn't return calls. My tub/shower enclosure ends up in the driveway of a vacant flip house on a Friday night. No warning it was to be delivered. One box was after shipping taped and it was still busted open. Can't speak with a human and their chat line appears unmanned. Just terrible. Calling HD corporate tomorrow...
Their communication is 100% non-existent. Delivery was to be made to a vacant home, so a call ahead for delivery was imperative. Their online system says a delivery attempt was made on a Saturday, but no call made. Talked with chat bot and 2 actual people, one on Monday and one on Tuesday, and both confirmed a call would go out 30 minutes prior and confirmed the number. Online system shows delivery completed, but no call. Went to the delivery location only to find no product. I have no idea if or when I will ever receive the shipment that they've had for a week now. I would never recommend Hub Group for delivery service.
