Excellent service. Highly recommend.

I was recommended to use The Hungry Shredder by a friend who had recently used this company. I requested a total of 12 sacks which were sent via Royal Mail, and which arrived two days later.

I was advised by Terry at the company that the price includes one pick up, but if not using all sacks in one go, a further pick up could be arranged for an additional £20 within one year from date of order. I found this quite reasonable, and in fact only used 8 sacks initially, so I now have about 11 months to fill the remaining sacks and arrange a second pick up.

I am very pleased with the quick response, and would be happy to recommend this friendly company to others.

My experience from start to finish has been excellent. Ordering the shredding bags was very easy and they arrived promptly. Booking the bag collection was also easy and I was contacted after a short time with a collection date. The person who collected the bags was very pleasant and advised that I would receive an email to confirm the shredding had been done. I was impressed to receive the email confirmation on the evening of the collection day. I would definitely use this Company again and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I’m changing my review (from the one-star, terrible experience previously given) as the company was swiftly in touch to apologise and talk things through. I’d had no delivery of bags before moving house (several days after ordering) and no response to an email chasing them up. However, the gentleman who called regarding my review was excellent and apologised profusely. He arranged for one of their couriers to come to the new address ASAP and said there was no sign of the email (strange but fair enough). The original bags then turned up at the new address too - thanks to mail forwarding - which meant they’d taken over a week but I was assured they normally arrive quickly and the company takes customer service seriously.

Very easy to book bags which you can take your time to fill as you ring them when you are ready to have them collected. Collection was easy to book and they turned up on time. Very good service if you are doing a home clear out.

A brilliant service!
Due to moving house, them moving my mum into care and selling her home, I have huge amounts of documents that needed shredding. To be able to throw them into the bags, have them collected ftom my door and securely shredded is a huge weight lifted. Easy to use, and an excellent friendly service.

Fantastic service from start to completion

An absolutely first class service. I bought the 2-bag single collection/pick up option for all the old accounts, bank statements, bills and other paperwork that I had been keeping for several years. Only a small job for Terry at Hungry Shredder but an essential service for me. I was treated with the same professionalism that a much bigger job would have warranted: speedy delivery of the bags, personal collection from my home when they were full and a certificate of secure destruction once all the paperwork had been shredded - all at a very competitive price. I can wholeheartedly recommend Hungry Shredder to anyone who needs their paperwork securely shredded.
