This is a great app to make tracking…
This is a great app to make tracking bills simpler, as well as keep on top of subscription fees, late payments, etc. A smart way to make managing cash flow easier, especially for working families.

Unethical company to deal with
I am still trying to find out about my investment status
A few years ago I bought some shares in this company when it
was offered for sale
They promise me a good ROI within the year
Boy was I wrong because it had been almost 3 years now
We had a monthly update at the beginning but it eventually faded away
I trusted the company because the CEO was a former graduate from my university also
I guess it would be safe to invest in it
Unfortunately they have not being transparent and my emails to them was ignored
How can you call it a financial company when they don't account for their business practice to their investor?
Mr Tefari I'll be thankful if you can get to the bottom of this
I have been patient long enough to settle this matter and get some answers
Ignoring your investor is not the answer

You Can Invest, but You Can't Withdraw Your Funds
I invested a very small amount with Hutsy. They were a new upstart, and I figured I'd give them a chance. I've been trying to withdraw my funds/have them transferred to my PayPal account since August 11, 2022. It is now June 12, 2023. They've promised the funds would be transferred. I have emailed them many times. There were always excuses that ended up preventing a transfer (i.e., my funds are invested in a trust, so it will take 3 months for the transfer; withdrawals are paused while they launch their new app and debit card; etc). I kept forgetting about it. I finally had enough and gave them 1 week to transfer my funds or I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. Today is one week later, so I feel it's only fair to leave public reviews to warn others. I can back up all claims with documentation and have submitted these documents to the BBB. They also inexplicably stopped recording the Return on Investment of my funds after October 2022.
YIKES
I’ve been dealing with this company trying to get a credit building loan over the last 2 weeks approximately, and what an unorganized, and unreliable company. So sketchy on timelines and contacting your creditors and even on getting back to you within the timeframe they present. I was approved on June 14th, and yet they can’t get a single response from my creditors and now I’m still in the same position I was before as they seem to have no clout in getting a response from other companies/creditors. I would steer clear of this company as they do not seem legitimate.

Bad experience with Hutsy.
Response to Hutsy comment: I'm not a competitor, I was a potential customer that spoke to few Hutsy reps about investing, felt misled and was pushed to invest by them - I could tell they're paid commission for closing sales, felt very uncomfortable as I was considering investing large capital. Their comment below feels disrespectful as I felt when I dealt with them months ago.
Original review: like the conventional wisdom says, when it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'm disappointed with Hutsy, they're a shady company.
When signing me up, they asked for a credit card to start the investment: I've invested six figure $$ with reputable companies, no one else allows a large investments to be made through a credit card - for starters because they'd pay a 3% transaction fee to AMEX, and on a $100,000 investment, that's $3000 Hutsy would have to pay and their rep said that they will not charge me a penny to invest/pay with a credit card, not debit card.
I did a lot of searching: no account on Yelp, not on BBB, not certified or verified by third party organizations, address on Google and their website don't match... You've been warned - stay away from Hutsy or you will lose your hard earned cash.

Do your research
I'm not an investor with Hutsy however the associate I spoke with was not able to provide an answer to my question. When does Hutsy plan to go public. The associate advised that they do not have that information at this time. However they are offering 0.5 CAD per share. They are then advising that their share price once they go public will be over 100 dollars. It sounds too good to be true. When reviewing their websites, there are no minutes of discussion no investment area as to find out this information. By all means It's a high risk, I don't recommend to invest in this company unless you they release articles to show their investment strategy instead describe it over the phone.
****Just want to update this review. I'm currently doing Research my self after speaking with Tafari from Hutsy, he was able to clear the loop holes that were missing from my previous conversation with an associate. It is an interesting investment that I'm willing to partake and see how this company grows.***

No complaints
I consider myself a financially savvy individual who tries to learn more often. I kept reading about Hutsy via the Morning Brew - highly recommended business newsletter. I read about Hutsy for about 3 months before finally deciding to invest in them and I am really glad I did. I recently had the opportunity to invest in P2P lending with them and really look forward to how my investments, and the company, will continue to grow. Make the minimum investment, at least, if you are unsure. You will see that the risk is worth the reward.
Very Questionable Withdrawal Process...Proceed With Caution
As a fairly experienced investor, I was skeptical of Hutsy’s claim of 10-15% returns on a highly liquid investment that could be withdrawn any time. I decided to give them a shot and deposited a little less than 10k USD. After investing for a couple of months, everything seemed to be going well and the returns matched their claim. However, the withdrawal process was very sketchy and has turned me away from the investment platform. Here are my thoughts.
-After my initial withdrawal request, I was asked not once, but TWICE why I was withdrawing my funds. As a seasoned investor, I have NEVER been asked by any platform why I was withdrawing funds and found this incredibly rude and suspicious.
-I requested a PayPal withdrawal and was given the instructions that it would take 48 business hours to complete. I mistakenly thought it said 48 hours. I have NEVER seen a company state 48 business hours instead of 5 business days. Who in the world wants to know how many business hours it is going to take? How about just posting how many business days, like any other normal company?
-I requested my funds on November 12 and all of the funds were not withdrawn until December 2. This was well more than the “48 business hours” that was stated.
-It took 5 PayPal transfers over the span of 9 days to get all of my funds. I was not aware that my withdrawal was going to have to be split up in 5 different transfers and that the whole process was going to take 3 weeks.
-When converting my funds from CAN to USD, the right currency rate was not used. When I asked Hutsy about this, they just said that they can’t choose what conversion rate paypal uses. But if you are going to say PayPal transfers are free, then they need to be correct. So after withdrawing everything, I lost about 3%-3.5% of my funds.
I would be extremely cautious when investing with Hutsy. Their concept has potential, but they are not very transparent about the whole investment process unless you are very thorough with your questions. There are no clear instructions on how to deposit or withdraw funds. There just seem to be too many red flags, from the “all 5-star reviews” to the very questionable withdrawal process. They also claim to be the revolution of the financial industry, but did not even launch with a platform application for smart phones, or 2-factor authentication for logging in. This is representative of a company that will not be around for long. I will not be investing with Hutsy in the future.
Side note to Hutsy: The next time someone writes a negative review, you might want to reconsider how you are responding instead of starting your response with “Hm...” Again, not professional, and not who I want to trust with my funds.
Growing Pains
So far been with them for 2-3 months with a small wallet to test things out.
Pros:
The returns are there for sure; I've had two full months distributions reflecting an 18% and 12% annualized return respectively. Enough to keep things interesting anyways.
Also in the short time I've trialed this, there have been several material improvements that have cropped up, although one really needs to keep themselves informed of any changes via the website.
Cons:
Overall it's been somewhat confusing from the investor side, but that could be due to the rapid changes that have taken place.
For what should be a very straightforward deposit, grow, withdraw experience, it's fallen a bit shy, particularly on the withdrawal side. That being said, I have been in contact with senior levels of management, both of whom have reached out to me to help smooth things out (so definitely some leadership happening there), and it's been explained that the small amounts I've been dry-running fall short of industry minimums (ie. $2 electronic transfer vs $5 minimum), and that's thrown a wrench into the process.
My suggestion, which I was able to communicate directly, is if they could be more transparent on their site about fee structure (which is minimal) and be totally clear on how to move my money around, especially with the evolving options they've been implementing, it would be an entirely different experience for me.
Overall I think it's been a good experience though, with returns coming in as described, in a simple no-nonsense platform. For me, I think there could be an even happier medium between embracing such a new concept and enjoying the rewards as more detailed information becomes more readily available from the investor side.
So far just slow
So far they have let me open my account and fund it. but it takes them forever to get your account funded.
