Buyer beware under filled top soil
I purchased the 500 liter top soil HBLTOP500 only to find it contained 380 liters. Huws Gray passed me onto the Rolawn the supplier who initially told me it was a 600 liter bag under filled to 500 liters. I measured the bag and shown all concerned that it was a 500l bag with soil 20cm under filled hence 380l. They then told me the under fill was due to settlement so the 380l was really 500 liters. It can't be both and the volume of 380l cannot be disputed its basic maths. The fact is the advert states that the amount is 500 liters and they are not supplying this amount to the customer. Disappointing as Huws Gray are happy with this and Rolawn admit no wrong doing so hence the review.

Excellent service from point of contact until delivery.
From my first contact all staff were polite and very helpful.
I placed my order with this branch because the closest one was unable to deliver. Never at any point did anyone comment on the distance. In fact the driver who was very helpful and courteous said 'it was a straightforward journey.
My order was delivered in a timely manner and I was kept informed about the specific time of delivery.
Excellent service all round.

Andy at Huws Shrewsbury has been super helpful and I subsequently spoke to someone else there to sort a refund (possibly Ian?) who also was very helpful. Will definitely use them again.

Derby branch are great!
I’m a homeowner who was let down by another supplier who’d pushed my delivery date by a week! The branch staff were so friendly and helpful. Andy at Derby ensured that the items were delivered on their next available slot and managed to bring it forward by 4 days from their initial quote!
