My son really enjoys the lessons and always tries something new each week while building on what he’s already learnt. Changing rooms and pool are nice and clean, friendly teachers, I would recommend!

Great teaching, my son has progressed slowly (his style) but well. Consistent and professional. Communications could be better but most info you need it on the portal.

Annette is a fantastic swimming coach, we’ve seen great progress with our son since Annette started coaching him.

Our 4 year old has been really enjoying swimming with his teacher James at Mary Hare School, Newbury. We can see him growing in confidence every week.

Stuart has been an incredible swimming teacher for my daughter at Mary Hare and we couldn’t be happier with her progress under his guidance. From the very start, Stuart was warm, patient, and understanding, which made my daughter feel at ease in the water. His approach is both fun and educational and she always looks forward to her lessons with Stuart. I highly recommend Stuart.

My daughter has been attending the Mary hare session. Melanie assessed her within the first couple of sessions and moved her up, we were originally on a different day and she helped me find a quieter day so my daughter gets more out of her lesson. Really recommend! the instructors are very friendly with the kids and the pool is nice too. Bonus that it actually has a deep end to practice dives!

Absolutely amazing staff. The teachers are the most passionate, patient and professional people. My kids joined over a year ago, couldn’t swim at all and now doing laps and diving. Couldn’t recommend more

My step - son has come on leaps and bounds since he started swimming with hydro kids.
He is now in stage 5 and swims better than I do.

The teacher's are calm and very helpful and supportive.

Ayaan has done a great job teaching my daughter she is really enjoying her swimming and making great progress!

Our kids have had a very good experience with HydroKidz with small classes and very good teaching. Swim coaches Rueben and Aston have been brilliant and it has been fantastic to see the progress made with swimming technique each week

James has given our son 1-1s for a few months now. James has a good relationship with the kids and gets the best out of them. Our son’s swimming has certainly improved over this last while.

Really lovely team of swimming instructors very calm and Caring when teaching our boy and and always happy to help if anything is needed we definitely recommend to family and friends

HydroKidz in Newbury is absolutely first-class! My 5-year-old son has made incredible progress, going from no experience to confidently swimming in such a short time. The teacher is fantastic—patient, encouraging, and skilled at building confidence in young swimmers. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, creating the perfect environment for learning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for excellent swimming lessons for their children!

The first day was a struggle with my son. A lot of kicking and screaming. But after only 2 lessons with James, he loves coming now. James has helped him be more confident and he’s definitely making progress. Only thing stopping this from being a 5* is the admin side. Although we got what I wanted when it comes to moving booking. Feel like you have to fight for it(James wasn’t available on a date we booked) was told we couldn’t change the date unless we paid.

Melanie leads a great team at Reddam house Wokingham. We've been impressed with all the teachers but especially Tara, Omar, Stephanie and Chip (? Sorry if I've got the name wrong) they've turned my daughter to loving the pool from being a reluctant screamer and they naturally help my son and daughter to achieve more each week.

My daughter started swimming with Sarah at Mary Hare since September 24 and I see how well lessons are going. My daughter is only 4 years old and she has her ups and downs, but I can see how well Sarah can manage her. Jo is happy to come every week and is slowly overcoming her fears, definitely due to good and patient swimming teacher.

Been coming for 2 years. The coaches are fantastic, particularly in the individual sessions. Lauren, Jack and Ashley helped to get my 8 year old into her first competitive swimming club.
